Long Time No See (Private Shine & Arkhor)

It was reasonably cool out. The waves were a bit tall for a sunny day like this, but it wasn't too bad. Still an easy swim, especially for a (former) Seawing. Shine finally stopped and pulled herself out of the water on a small, remote island. She could easily see all sides of it from where she was, a few small, thin palm trees stood in the middle. The rest was a pretty sandy beach. The goddess stepped further on shore, feeling the grains of sand under her webbed paws, before sitting down, and soon after laying down, on the edge of the tideline, so it just barely brushed her, without submerging her. She briefly turned her gaze back to the water, trying to decide if it was worth a visit to her old home. It had been a long time since she'd stopped by, a bit too long for her tastes, but....no. Not worth it. Every time she went, all the dragons ended up bowing. Not worth it. She turned her gaze away from the water, and back to Cory, the catfish she always had with her.
None of the other gods seemed to share her need for anything social, and she hadn't seen any in a while or that matter. Ah well. They were busy, she wasn't as busy. Emotions were much easier to keep in check than most everything all the others had to deal with. She had a lot more to keep an eye on, but less to actively do.

As Ark walked out of the palace he sat for a moment as he replied with a frown "I'm not sure... Gahh.. Sorry.." Lowering his snout feeling annoyed with himself as he didn't know what to do, sure they could continue looking around but.. Shine had seen most of it. Shaking his head he replied "Anybody you wanted to meet?"

// just a thought Ark could use his powers to see if he could locate korry, but in the end he couldn't find him or something, trying to think of ideas XD //

((Nah, I think that would be a bit much for Shine when she's still hoping (honestly I am too, ya never know) neat idea, but I don't think she'd be able to handle that.))

The dragoness shrugged. "You're fine." She smiled and stopped next to him, looking around. "No one in particular. I wouldn't mind seeing some new faces though. Whoever's available is fine for me." She smiled at her friend. "It's been a while since I've gotten to talk to anyone. It's just nice to be able to be with others and not have them start bowing."
