Two Heads are Better than One (Twilight Imperium)

A fight tore through one of the islands that the Twilight Imperium now called home. A two headed pair of juveniles trying to fight an adult Nightwing. The pair seemed to be holding their own, at least until they were pinned, and it looked like the Nightwing was about to end them.

"You two need to focus. You keep tripping each other up. Make it easy for anyone with half a brain to beat you." The pair both glared at his choice of word, which just awarded them a head shake. "Poor way to say it aside, you need to be able to fight."

"You think we don't know that? This is a lot more tricky than walking. We don't have time to coordinate." The trainer just put his paw over his face.

"Ok. Go take a break and figure... whatever you need to figure out." He mumbled something about why they couldn't have found a crossbred hydra to train his students as he left, leaving Cyclone and Typhoon there panting.

"Are we going to be able to do this? We just can't seem to keep in sync when we're fighting."

"Tell me about it. And ol' sourpuss there doesn't help things. I'm pretty sure they're trying to keep use from doing well sometimes." Cyclone nodded.

"Yeah. I don't know if he hates us, or just can't train us." Typhoon just sighed, laying his head down, before his sister got annoyed. "Come on! I don't wanna lay down. I wanna figure this out. Typhoon just rolled his eyes.

"And we need strength to do that. Just rest for a second." The sister just grumbled a bit, laying her head down, but didn't say a word.

The pair were still confused, looking at Noctus.

“I don’t think either of us our....”

“Yeah. Neither of use has more control of the body than the other. Our mom was a single minded hydra, but she said that since we were hatched with two heads it was a bit different.”

"My mom told me the only way to tell is to check the gender of the body, not the heads." He blushes.

Both twins blushed. A lot. That was one thing tended to be very private between them, and a bit of a bite for bullies to deliver. The pair just shutter at some thoughts of other hatchlings and juveniles, both bullies and innocent questioning. Cyclone finally attempted to give an answer.

“O... oh.... W-w-well.... Um.... Uh.... It’s... kinda.... Uh....”

"Take your time, although I understand if you don't feel comfortable about giving me the answer." He looks away while still blushing.

Cyclone looked at her brother, who let out a sigh. She then look back at Noctus, blushing just as much as he was.

“It’s... no... straight forward.” She hid her head a little under her wing, red as a beet.

"I'll let you decide when you tell me." He scoots closer and nuzzles her. "It's ok to be shy about this, you tell me when you're ready."

Cyclone smiled a little, nuzzling back.

"Th-thanks." She then looked at Noctus. "So your mom's a healer?"

"Yes, she's the best healer of the NightWing tribe. She is also training the new generation healers. My brother and sisters are healers in training. My father is a tracker, I'm following his footsteps. You stick with me, you will always be well fed." He laughs.

Cyclone chuckled a little along with him, smiling some.

"I can tell. And who know, maybe your mom's actually helped with healing us before."

"Perhaps, of course I don't know when she did. If you like, you may lay your head against me. I won't bite."

Cyclone honestly looked a bit surprised at first. The way Noctus said it sounded a bit weird, but she smiled and leaned a little on him.

"So what are your hobbies?" He let's you tuck your head under his chin.

Cyclone did tuck her head under, mostly because of her now thinking.

”Hm.... Hunting, Helping with hatchlings when they’ll let me, messing with Typhoon, oh! And flying.”

"Would you like hatchlings of your own, I would one day." He blushes slightly.

Both Cyclone and Typhoon blushed a bit. The pair looked a each other, clearly not seeming sure how to answer the question. Yes... they had talked some about either one becoming a parent, but... not that much.

“W-well.... I... I do. But....” Typhoon then sighed.

“We haven’t talked about that much, assuming either of us can....”

"Not to pressure you, that is why I asked about your body. I won't force you to answer, you do so when you feel comfortable." He lets her do as she pleases.

Cyclone smile a little, leaning against Noctus and closing her eyes. Typhoon then looked over, smiling a little.

“Not to interrupt, but thank you for understanding some things.”

"Not a problem, patience goes a long way. I know when you feel like you are ready, you will tell me." He drapes his wing over their back trying to comfort them.

Cyclone and Typhoon both smiled, with the sister of the two laying her head on Noctus's neck.

"Want to try sparring again?"

Tharasis was flying walking through the nightwings territory. Ever since he and sting became mates he no longer found himself as an enemy to the nightwings. Though he occasionally gets the glare from some dragons, most just chose to simply ignore him. And while it did not look like a good thing, it was better than always having to think someone might attack him.

He knew his children would be close here somewhere, training with other dragons from the tribe. And as he heard the sounds of his children he would come out from the trees and find them. And would see another... similar dragon with them.

he walked closer and could see that the 3 dragons were in a somewhat. Intimate position, a raised brow came to him.

And as he got closer he would announce his presence.

" Cyclone, Typhoon. Who is... " And at that point he knew who this was.

" Noctis? is that you? " he asked him in a slightly sharp tone. Is Noctis trying to court my daughter? he asked himself in his head.

Noctis blushes intensely. "These two are your kids?! I had no idea." He laughs nervously. "I wasn't trying to court Cyclone, at least not yet. Although I do like her. I said that I would wait until she felt comfortable enough with me before even trying."

Cyclone squirmed a little, quickly sitting upright when Tharasis called her and Typhoon. She didn’t even give her brother time to react with her, leaving them oddly half sitting, half laying down for a second. The pair soon got settled, and Cyclone was blushing a lot.

“He’s telling the truth, Tharasis. We... we weren’t doing anything.”

Tharasis squinted his eyes at them, letting them knew well that he still has his suspicions. But after a few seconds of eyes the drake he would pull back. sighing.

" I see. " he gave them a questioning look.

" Cyclone, Typhoon. Shouldn't you two be training? " he asked them. His voice soft and calm.

"I've been helping them with that, I helped them to better coordinate their movements. Also sometimes to act as one." He says with enthusiasm and praise.
