The Rift - Chapter Of Age (Private Shine)

After what seemed to be a storm which created a bad teleport Ark groaned as he felt sickness from the experience. Taking in his surroundings slowly as he appeared to be in an open field, looking around he couldn't see any of the others in till he show a familiar shape. Realising it was Shine he gasped slightly, pulling himself onto his feet as he gazed around wondering where they were. Hissing slightly as seemly his landing had caused a cut on his scales on his arm, naturally he looked towards healing himself yet.. shock as he tried to use his other paw he couldn't use his powers. Frowning as he turned to fear as he felt vulnerable without his powers, moving closer to Shine he nudged her slightly "S..Shine?... I think we might have a problem.." Limping slightly from his damaged arm he waited for a response, sitting down on the grassy plain. While in the distance on the horizon he could make out strange shapes seemly high in the sky, something was wrong and he didn't like it.

Tilting his head slightly as he thought to himself for a moment, "I'm not sure... it's going to be hard to find them.. and its risky to fly around searching" sighing as he dipped his snout partly underwater. Raising again he continued "Also.. how are we going to get back...for all we know we could be trapped.."

Shine shifted her wings slightly, sighing as she listened to the other. He was right. If they had their powers, they would be able to find the others easily. She would be able recognize the emotional auras of the others, and Ark would be able to hide their forms just in case. Without their powers, they were pretty much stuck. Especially if they lacked a way to return to their world, as that ability would have been lost with their powers. "We have to think positively." The goddess(?) said, shaking her head to clear the negative thoughts out of habit. "We'll be able to get home. We just have to have faith in that, and that the others are safe and alive."

Sighing as he replied splashing the water slightly with his tail, "I know.. well first I would suggest making like a little base area so we can search the local area with having a place to hide" smiling slightly as he continued "And if worst cast at least we have a place to stay if there is no way back.."

Shine sighed heavily at that and nodded a bit. "Yea. Yea that's fair." As depressing of a subject as it was, it would be good to have a backup plan in case things went south. She glanced around a bit. "This seems like a good spot, at least for now. Or did you want to find one that might be a safer bet?"

Nodding as he replied "No this looks good it does look quite nice" smirking slightly as he continued "Inless you would like something else?"
