At the camp some of the NightWings guards have noticed Lead and Rii's arrogant behaviour, especially when Lead scared a few guards and Rii joined Lead in his fun. So a sergeant decided to take action and punish the prisoners. He turned towards Rii and Lead,  the two known to have caused troubles. "Enough, prisoners. You dared to provoke us. Now you'll learn the consequences of disrespecting the NightWings." The sergeant turned towards a few mages. "Torture the snake and the crazy rogue for a while." The sergeant coldly ordered. After these words the magicians started to mentally torture both Rii and Lead, looking to attack their brains. This kind of torture will cause its victims to yell in pain and desperately crawl on the ground helpless. However it'll not cause any physical harm. The NightWings haven't planned to use torture, but after the recent events, with the rogues taunting the NightWings, this cruel punishment was necessary to teach the rogues their place as prisoners. This would probably be one of the worst experiences in Lead and Rii's life, terryfing enough to convince them to finally play the part of obedient prisoners and show submission to the NightWings. Aero Dyanmic and Acer were the only ones to be spared because they didn't show any aggression until now compared to Rii and Lead.

Rii's eyes open wide as the nightwings ordered the mages to torture Lead and herself. I told you I wouldn't attack as long as you didn't harm me you bastards! The woman snarled a warning. She braced herself for the torture, but found that this did nothing to ease what came next.

Blinded by pain, Rii flipped around upon the grass uncoiling her long frame fully and began smacking her head along the ground.. Dangerous shrill snarls of pain and anger cried out form her muzzle while her fangs flexed against the teeth in her jaws. Her flailing tail was threatened to hit one of the nightwings who were trying to avoid her. Her body lurched towards Lead and Areo as the serpent like rogue rolled and thrashed around in pain. One of her claws gripped onto the dirt as she took seizure after seizure flopping around the clearing. More than once did a part of her body come close or hit the other rogues and nightwings near the area.

The sergeant noticed Oreo Dynamic and he was surprised to see the Royal Guard here. Maybe Oreo has been sent to investigate about the situation. So the sergeant decided to answer. "The meaning of this? The white rogue you see has attacked our medic while the sergeants weren't looking. A soldier called Es'Rabmud has tried to restrain this rogue, though I don't remember he had those orders. It seems Es'Rabmud wanted to hurt at the point to make him disable, so that's the reason because the rogue has bandages. This is a case I'll pass to Xangor once he's back." The sergeant explained the first part, taking a little pause, before to give other explanations. "Despite the rogue has been mutilated, he still dared to scare a few guards, so we're punishing him again. If he cares about his life, he'll eventually become a obedient slave." The sergeant smirked. Then he looked wide eyes at Rii's reaction. The torture should cause her to fall on the ground, but not to roll around like crazy. This was an amusing scene to see. The sergeant gestured the guards to stop with the mental torture, but only for Rii. The magicians kept mentally torturing Lead for a little longer. Lead was trapped in a magical cell as the other sergeant ordered, so the rogue couldn't break out anymore. The sergent answered her insults "Bastards? No, the bastard is you, snake! You dared to make fun of the soldiers. You betrayed Xangor's trust. This punishment is the consequence of your arrogance." The sergeant explained while other guards arrived to surround the prisoners. These guards were different from the others. A scaring and menacing aura was surrounding them. They looked cold and merciless. Messing with these guards would be very dangerous of the rogues. The sergeant spoke to all the captives. "Starting from now, for every trouble you cause, even a little trouble, a mental torture will follow. I'm sure you don't want to risk brain damage. You're warned, prisoners." The sergeant dispotically growled, pointing his claws towards Lead, that was still under the effect of the terryifing torture. Lead's example would convince the rogues to stay quiet as the sergeant was commanding. The sergeant turned towards the other sergeant (controlled by slychotic) that wanted to use the rogues to pull a cart. "Have you the permission of the Emperor to use two slaves? If not, you must ask the Emperor first. The Emperor would have different plans for these two slaves." The sergeant remembered the soldiers role in this invasion. They had the orders to make prisoners and keep them under survillance. Nothing else. It was up to Oculus to decide how to use the captured rogues. Oculus was just sitting on the cliff from the start of the invasion, so it was only a matter of minutes for the other sergeant to ask permission.

Rii barely heard what the officer or seargant was saying. All she felt was numbness after the torture had stopped. Her body lay limply on the ground as the earth sway before her even though she herself was not moving. Closing her eyes the woman tried to concentrate. A buzzing was still loudly banging around her ears and she now had a massive headache. What she would give to have a one on one fight with these cruel dragons. She would rip them to shreds then make them eat their own intestines. However, as long as she was outnumbered Rii would have to obey. As badly as that thought hurt her.

The skull she had been gripping for the longest time had flown out of her claws when she had been enduring the seizures. Opening her eyes suddenly Rii let out a moan as the earth again began to spin before her. She cried as the bluish green dragon looked desperately for her sisters skull. It's got to be someplace near me... she growled in her thoughts while weaving her head back and forth and patting at the ground with her fore claws in search of the tiny hatchling skull.

She let out a roar of pain as impatience finally got the best of her. Then she turned to look at the black dragons all over. Please, tell me. Does someone see a small skull around? It is mine, I need it.. Please point me to it... All the nobility she had shown to Xangor and the other dragons before had dropped, and now she truly did beg like a servant.

Perhaps it would only be for her sister that Rii would become so lowly for.

Memories surged through her mind as Rii pulled her body along the ground and looked for the tiny bleached white oval bone. She saw Mairii for what she had once been. A tiny living baby dragon, her own full sister, who had been so kind and gentle. Rii teared up as she searched for that little skull quickly. She couldn't let them take it from her. Worse, she couldn't bare to see it broken or destroyed.

Sly's jaws were throbbing with pain from how hard he clenched them. Another sergeant came into the meadow, and there seemed to be another captured rogue. Sly wanted to intervene. Mental torture was just as harmful as a physical one. Hadn't Lead suffer enough already? Sure, he was a little unstable, but a magic cage should have been enough.

He was not even allowed to look at the rogues, receiving a glare from the groove-armoured sergeant whenever he did so. He had just finished healing the two soldiers while the new sergeant tortured both Lead and Rii. To see Rii thrashing around was unbearable. Sly thought he was on the edge of insanity until the sergeant finally ceased any torment on the snake-like rogue.

His ears perked to the appearance of the royal guard. Before Sly could jump up and say anything to Oreo, the new sergeant had already spoken. Sure, Sly agreed with everything he stated, but to torture him to the point of becoming an obedient slave? This he wouldn't allow.

They are my patients! Sly snapped. He lost count on how many times he said this already. A medic's role barely had anything in common with these soldiers', yet he had difficulties conveying that. Open your eyes! Can you all not see how much this rogue had suffered?

Of course, he doubt any of this entered any of their ears. The new sergeant gave a new warning, which didn't make much sense to Sly. Oculus ordered no more harm to be done to the rogues. First, there was Es'Rabmud, and now this?

The groove-armoured sergeant frowned a little when he learned that he needed permission from Oculus. He looked up to where the leader was, still sitting at his post high up on the cliff. Sly wondered if he was thinking the same question as himself. How long is Oculus going to keep silent? There is no need. Who am I to go against his orders? Let him do to them what he sees fit. He brushed past Sly, and whispered, stay out of this if you want to live. And do what is necessary to keep them in line! Then he rolled something, small and round, onto Sly's claw. A skull. A hatchling's it seemed. But why was this in the sergeant's possession? Before he could ask, the sergeant disappeared with a handful of soldiers into the forest.

Then something in Sly's head lit up. Rii asked for a skull, but in a manner that was different to her previous arrogance. She was holding onto a skull? Was this the one she was looking for?

Rii letting out her weakness like that was a bit careless. Now this new sergeant, and the new Nightwing soldiers knew. Being subtle as possible, Sly shifted his foreclaw and hid the skull behind it. He then dug his snout into his knapsack and, purposely, knocked out a few jars of his remedies and they rained onto the ground. The thudding and clattering of glass caught some of the soldier's attention, and their hawk-like eyes stared at his direction.

They were more unnerving than the previous soldiers. Behind those helms, those eyes, it was as if they lived solely to serve the empire. Nothing more. How were they trained would be a grand mystery, but a subject that wouldn't interest Sly even in the slightest.

My apologies, Sly said, picking back up the jars and returning them into his knapsack, the skull he made sure to mix in with the contents to avoid suspicion.

Okay, so now he had a key treasure of Rii. But how could he use it? Usually, if something he had was rather useless to him, Sly would return it. But returning it now would just show this sergeant where the skull is, and Rii would probably have it taken away again.

Well? What are you going to do now? Es'Rabmud wheezed behind Sly, snickering. They are...your patients...after all. Do you want to...attack him?

Sly stepped forward once, just to keep his distance from the fallen soldier. Something about this...all of this...didn't seem right. Es'Rabmud's attack on the rogues. The previous sergeant's threat of persecution. This new sergeant's torture. Not only were most of them out of Oculus's orders, but they were all aimed at the rogues. Despite the order from the leader, harm against the rogues were endorsed. And the one who prevented them, Sly himself, was kept at bay by this threat.

It was as if all of this was conspired by one dragon.

No. Sly had to keep his calm. It was too soon to suspect a dragon of a higher rank had some grudge against the rogues. He mustn't let his emotions control him. That would be a weakness that would do him no good within the Nightwing empire. Like them, he had to be strong.

I believe you have done enough, Sly said with a smile towards the sergeant, his eyes finally turning back to green. This rogue is my burden. The magicians and their little cage is all we need to keep him under control. You don't want me to go up to Oculus and report this...unnecessary harm to this poor little rogue, do you not?

The sergeant ordered to stop the mental torture on Lead once the rogue received a very painful headache. The sergent was confident that Lead will start to be obedient, unless the rogue was mad at the point to not care about to risk brain damage.The sergeant listened to slychotic's words and answered the first part. "Are you upset this rogue has gone through a lot of suffering? It's his punishment to have dared to provoke the NightWings. The snake was arrogant before, now she's behaving after the punishment. The mad rogue will start to behave too, unless he's a brainless dragon that doesn't care about to survive. It's what you would expect from rogues afterall: uncivilized and idiotic dragons. I don't even believe we should enslave such mediocrity, but to just slaughter them all. Anyway, remember we don't only have to restrain rebelling rogues, but also to force their submission and loyalty. It's true Oculus demands no harm, but under the assumption the rogues stay quiet and obedient like slaves are supposed to act. We soldiers can go against this order when it's necessary to teach discipline to the slaves. However what Es'Rabmud did is debatable. A slave with damaged legs is good for nothing. But as I have said, I'll give this case to the Officer Xangor." The sergeant shrugged when the medic menaced to give a report to Oculus. The sergeant wasn't afraid about that "Unecessary harm? It was necessary. The guards targets of pranks have been avenged. You should be happy about this, but instead you only care to stubbornly defend the slaves, even when they're wrong. Anyway, you dare to contest my punishments and even menace to report me. It seems you forget what is my position in the hierarchy. You should respect the decisions of a your superior. Go to the Emperor if you wish. You already have to give him a lot of explanations afterall. Better you shut up if you don't want to worsen your situation. But you're right on a thing: my work is done here. The slaves have been adressed. I can leave for other business now." The sergent concluded before to mysteriously disappear in the shadows, not leaving traces of him. The rest of the cold guards remained with the prisoners. These guards were particular: they didn't show any friendly emotions. They were soldiers taught to be cold-blooded. In fact the guards ignored Rii's request, focusing on the survilleiance work with their inquisitive and menacing eyes. It seemed they were here to spy.

The rogue captured is a NPC to replace Kohaku because he isn't posting anymore.

@Echostorm and Xayang: sorry for the inconvenience since you joined, but the nightwings will not reach your territories. So you can quit the topic if you wish. The reason is this topic is reaching a dead point with only Xangor hunting for rogues. So it doesn't make sense to continue the invasion.

Pinned... Trapped... Screwed...
Pyrrhus grunted as he was knocked to the ground, pinned underneath the sharp claws that would go through him, killing him almost instantly. He screamed in agony as the armored one cut his arm, deep... Too deep... 'Oh man thats a lot of blood...' Pyrrhus thought to himself

He nearly fell over when they 'pushed' him. He walked slinging his arm with his other one. 'Oh man... uhh..... I don't feel so......' Pyrrhus thought to himself as he collapsed on the ground. 'Armored One' cut into his tricep too deep... Way too deep...  Pyrrhus lay there motionless, The blood loss was too great and the pain was too much...

He just barely stirred a little before becoming unconscious...

"It... Hurts..."

Rii looked upwards with a flash of anger as nobody offered to help. A snarl appeared on her muzzle but she kept quiet now. It was clear that these brutes would not show her any pity. Rii was positive that if she went on crying she would annoy someone and get tortured again, and that simply would not do.

A small whimper escaped her maw as she cast one last look around for her sisters skull. It was nowhere to be found, but now that her headache was subsiding Rii found that she could use her senses well once more. Her long forked tongue flicked out constantly as she tried to track the skull to its location. It had her own scent on it, as well as smelling simply like bone smells. After quietly moving around the ground and tasting the air she found where the bone had landed. However the skull was not there. Only a few feet away was Slychotic whom she could also scent strongly where the tiny dragon skull had fallen. Rii paused no longer flicking her tongue onto Sly for fear of offending the nightwing before her. Instead she looked Sly up and down and flicked her tongue about the air around him.

It's there somewhere.... He has her... She lowered her head like a puppy dog and gave Sly the saddest pleading look she could muster knowing that he had picked up her skull. However she said nothing. Perhaps at some point she might have her time alone with the nightwing before she escaped. If she could get the chance to escape.

The guards began to move, and soon another prisoner was dragged into the clearing. Rii hissed softly as she recognized the scent. Pyrrhus the reptilian was an acquaintance of hers, and she was angered by the amount of blood coming from his wounds.

The reptilian needs medical attention badly. She commented out loud hoping the nightwing healer would catch on and try to at least stop Pyrrhus's bleeding. She didn't get the chance to see if someone went to patch the reptilian up though, because the guards began to usher her and Areo to the carts once more. Rii turned to stare a gaping hole into Slychotic's face before slinking away towards her cart. The thing was over loaded, but thankfully she was strong dragon. It would have been too much for a nightwing to pull, but she would have no problem with it.

After getting dragged and tied to one of the carts one of the guards here asked if that was even the order we'd been given. I stayed tied to the cart, listening to the one speaking, trying to make my face look neutral and not angry. I glanced at Rii and Lead, it was almost unfair that I didn't get tortured, I almost wanted to but the thought made me shiver. I frowned, feeling my back prick when he said he'd rather slaughter us all, I had to push down everything not to just snap at him. I watched him dissapear into the shadows like he was never there, it made me want to snear at him. I glanced back at the rogues and then glanced at the sky. Anticipation pricked at my back, I wanted to fly away, get away from this terrible place. I couldn't escape now, Just had to wait now, sit and wait. If I acted like a stupid slave who took every order without a second glance maybe I'd get something for it, not like anything they had to offer would make a difference. I glanced at Rii as she got escorted over here and tied also. A smidge of embarresment came over me, she looked young and strong, probably able to carry the cart for a while before falling to exaution. I on the other hand was older, making this thing feel heavier than it probably was. I glanced at the other guards, wondering if it would be bad if I spoke to her. "Hi there, uh, what's your name?" I asked her, stealing glances at them for if they started to advance on me for talking. Being formal with each other isn't a crime is it, it makes for less fights and more slaves for them, I almost growled. I shook my head and looked back at her, wondering if she'd answer me or not.

Rii flinches as a voice speaks up close to her. She turns to see one of the other rogue prisoners glancing her direction with a calm look on her face. Rii could tell though that the female was forcing that look onto her face. She was just as frightened and unsure of the situation as Rii was.

Not wanting to be rude, Rii dipped her head in a small silent greeting. I'm Rii. May I ask for your name? The metallic blue woman shifts as the guards move around them but don't seem to mind the prisoners bit of chatter.

I gave Rii a small smile. "I'm A- um, Dynamic." I said, glancing at the other guards. I felt my throat get dry so I swallowed and leaned in. "Maybe we can plan an escape for later." I said in barely a whisper, knowing that if someone heard me I'd probably get tortured by the NightWings.

Rii leans in as the black rogue dragon gave her name. Dynamic looked much like the other nightwings surrounding them, but even she was being treated poorly. This had Ri somewhat confused, but she figured that blood and the type of rogue you were didn't matter to these dragons. Not even if the rogue looked like your own tribe.

As Dynamic spoke Rii found herself staring back at the female quite seriously. Then she shook her head "no" before glancing around to see if anyone was close enough to hear them. Quietly she then whispered to Dynamic.

No I can't leave... They.. He has my sister. I have to get her back before going... Rii gestured to Slychotic gently before looking around at the guards again and pushing at her harness. The cart creaked and groaned as she pulled it forwards.

"Well, I didn't mean now, we are tied to the carts. Later, after we can get it back." I said, slightly struggling with pulling the cart. 'I can feel my age kicking in.' I thought sadly with a sigh, looking at the ground. Rii was young and strong, I was old and frail, probably should be resting rather than pulling a heavy cart. I tucked my wings in and slightly bit my tongue, feeling myself stain with each step.

Rii sighed before glancing back at Slychotic. Inside of her head she wailed in agony, but on the outside the snake-like woman had regained her composure. She only let out a brief huff in annoyance then nodded agreeing with Dynamic. Then the she dragon turned forward and pulled with all of her might. The cart rolled loosely behind her as the pair of slaves continued to do the nightwings bidding.

Since this topic split off into a lot of side talks, and the lack of posts, I gonna call this closed.

TO THE ROGUES CAPTURED, here are the three choices given to you by Oculus. You may pick any one you want.

Option 1: You leave the NW territory and go make your presence elsewhere
Option 2: You refuse and are arrested and enslaved
Option 3: You accept the occupation and swear to obey NW law, and live in your same dwellings.


So yeah, feel free to do whichever one you want so your characters are not stuck in limbo.
