“Okay,” Inferno whispered to herself, “I can do this. Just gotta glide down the hill, then I'll gain enough speed to fly faster than ever before. Should be as simple as that.”

The morning had been particularly chilly, especially in the Rogue Lands. So much so that Inferno thought more than once about turning back to her tribal territory and finding the nearest volcano. Yet, if she was to become as fast and fierce as her mother was, she knew she would have to bear through it.

The air was crisp, and the dirt was still damp from the rain of the previous night, emanating an intoxicating odor. Well, perhaps it was intoxicating to an EarthWing, or any other tribe. To Inferno, it smelled like damp wolf fur.

Regardless, after losing her old training grounds, she had to find a new one in the Rogue Lands. One where nosy elder dragons didn't try to attack her. Much to her dismay, it seemed like the best option would be away from the FireWing tribe.

The dragoness crouched low, preparing to lift off and soar down the hill as fast as she could. Her front talons dug themselves into the moist dirt and in an instant...she slipped.

Inferno gasped as her talons slid forward. No matter what she did to try and correct her balance, nothing could stop her from tumbling down the hill. When she reached the bottom, she landed in a large puddle of mud, practically coating her in the disgusting cold goop. She immediately stood up, her scales now looking much more earthy than their usual red color.

“Blegh!” The irritated dragoness exclaimed, “I'm gonna need a bath…”

She took a step forward to get out of the mud, but immediately faltered. Her right foreleg buckled, and she found herself falling into the puddle once again.

“Ow!” She yelped with a grimace and looked at her talon. The pain she felt was all too familiar, and perhaps the wave of disappointment was even worse than the pinching feeling in her talon. Had she truly sprained it? Was her session of training really over before it’d even begun?

(No severe rush :3 I'm not going anywhere. Also, I usually have a one week timeframe with any sort of group roleplays. In this instance, if two roleplayers end up waiting for a week to get a reply, and the person holding them up hasn't communicated with them, then the roleplay will continue without that person until they return and are able to try and catch their character up.)

((No worries! This isn't too strict of an RP, so you'll still be able to join in when you're back, if you're still interested :3))

Raak-tolIs was searching for a new place of inspiration for what would be his greatest ice sculpture yet. He had never been in the rogue lands near the SeaWings, so he decided to start there. As Raak flew through the air, he thought about the sculpture he would make... he would probably need to get some ice from IceWIng lands. Hopefully they wouldn't mind. Looking down, Raak saw a FIreWing rolling down a hill. "What have we here?" The Citizen flew down to where the FireWing landed and nearby. "Are you alright? Do you need assistance?"

Understanding Strangers (Private with Baldirak and Siaga) Empty Re: Understanding Strangers (Private with Baldirak and Siaga)

There were wing beats followed by the patter of talons against dirt. Inferno turned to face the new dragon just as he was offering her assistance. For a moment, she was gawking at the fact that another dragon had already found her new training grounds. However, when she turned to face him, such thoughts fell silent.

Inferno’s eyes widened, and she hobbled backwards a short ways. The dragon talking with her wasn’t a FireWing. It was some different tribe. Was it a SkyWing? No, the size wasn’t right. An EarthWing? The color didn’t quite match up.

Then it finally hit her. The dragon offering his aid was a LightWing. Not that it mattered to her anyway...he was from a different tribe, which meant he couldn’t be trusted.

“Don’t you lay a claw on me, LightWing,” she said with a scowl, baring her fangs, “one sprained talon isn’t gonna stop me from kicking your tail. What are you doing here anyway? Trying to spy on the FireWings?”
