Incoming full god revamp.

Due to our sites long standing history of allowing peeps to keep characters the same after new rules that would change them those that already have a leader and a full god shall be permitted to keep both characters.

So you can't have a tribe leader and a semi god in the same tribe?

So it use to be that the gods were kept in balance by each other. Each god countered another preventing them from using their power to influence large amounts of people. The height of this is the awesome plots me and Paradox had however ever since that ended and he poofed you all seem to have forgotten bout this tid pit o lore and I haven't really been enforcing it but I am now. So ya all need to find which god is going to be your counter and create rivalries with one another. Normal those on the side of gods of destruction should be considered the antagonists but this is not enforced just advised. Ark god of Life and Nimbus god of death would be natural counters but its your peeps decision. With my ascension to above full god I will be opening the full god position I once held. For those interested apps for the positions will be accepted soon.

Oh and I want a progress report in the next week on your plans on who is your counter/opposite. Those who have made no effort to do so will be demoted.

This sounds like it is just for full gods, so semi's don't have to have opposites? Though I would assume the seawing semi would be Rii's opposite.

I'll give the full gods who haven't contacted me one final few hours of warning before they are demoted. Since they are all on right now.

The nature of the rivalry between Kelarth and Shinningwater, is that Shinningwater does not believe luck can be controlled--or even exists at all. Kelarth does not believe emotions are an important part of life.

Alright, gonna bring myself to this discussion because it's my duty... "1. One can no longer have a character who holds the position of tribe leader and have a full god character."

I really don't see the point in this new enforcement. It has been widely accepted that any single person can apply for both a God and Leader position and attain both if they meet the requirements, qualify for it, and can maintain it both ICly and OOCly (In addition with activity). And no one ever really complained about it, the only time we really got complaints is when we first released the new rule and it was quickly accepted afterwards and we've never had problems forward.

If this is because we want to open up positions for more people... let's be honest, God and Leadership positions tend to open up every few months. Several times. It's usually from the people who don't have any other positions to maintain, either. So... I think it's fair to say that a LOT of people get fair chances to get these positions, seeing as they are opening up as often as I open up the doors in my house. Recently, SeaWing and IceWing positions were opened up, and soon, so is the FireWing Leadership. That's plenty.

It has become clear to the staff that such a rule is more counterproductive than it is productive with our limited amount of member. So go invite more peeps to join the site lol. *grumbles while crumpling up the starting post and tossing it out the window*
