Personality: Baldirak is the kindest dragon you could hope to meet and usually very patient, as opposed to his youth when he had a short temper. Since becoming King of the EarthWings, he has taken on a more serious demeanor. But for the most part, he welcomes his fellow dragons with open talons. Baldirak has always had a fatherly personality, often advising and protecting those he knows don't need it, purely out of habit. He is fiercely loyal and will defend to the death those he cares about without a second thought. He often avoids fighting if he can and tries to end a conflict with words, instead. Baldirak is a devoted follower of Astralogy, cherishing knowledge as much as he does life. He even went so far as to take on the name Sapiens Draco--Wise Dragon--to show how much he had learned and benefited from Astralogy's teachings. It is perhaps because of his devotion that the Goddess made Baldirak her Prophet. Baldirak also follows the Goddess, Kayin, for he believed his ability to see through Time came from her. In reality, Kayin bestowed him with Demi-god status, which lay dormant (until he turns 45. Kayin is also fine with this). After learning that Astral had abandoned dragonkind to be with humans--even going so far as to mate with one--Baldirak has lost his faith in the Goddess. However, for a reason he himself can't figure out, he still carries a Moonstone and Astralogy talisman.

General Appearance
Height: 143 ft
Scales: His scales are green and brown.
Eyes: Pale blue
Appearance: Baldirak is a relatively large dragon, in his family, at least. He has a muscular build. From nose to tail, he is covered in green scales of different shades, from the light green of new grass to the dark green of moss. On his feet, the tip of his tail, the edges of his wings, his back and nose, the scales are the color of pine needles. The scales of his underbelly are brown, the shade of sand. His claws are as black as a moonless sky. Two large, dark brown horns adorn the top of his head, with smaller green in-between and on the side. Small to medium sized spines, dark green, line his back. His wings are leathery, sand brown and more than large enough to to cast the earth below him in darkness when he is airborne. His tail is thicker at the base and unusually thin at the end, free of spines. Around his neck, he wears a white Moonstone and an Astralogy talisman representing celestial bodies. It is carved from a lunar rock.

His right leg bears two large scars, caused by ballista spears. His paw pad also bears a scar, from a spear tip that was embbeded inside. The spear was too deep to dig out and remains. After saving both Tenebris and Kenina from monsters during Twilight Reckoning, Baldirak several more injuries. The more serious have healed but he bears new scars. Several of various lengths cover his belly and three spanning nearly the entire length of his body adorn his right side. He also wears the smaller version of his talisman that he had given to "Celestia".

Skills and Abilities
Strengths: He has years of experience in all situations. He is able to quickly identify an opponent's weakness. He is agile in the air despite his size. His tail can be used as a kind of whip to grab and throw things. Baldirak has learned to identify a Dragon by the vibrations they make when walking, as no two Dragons create the same vibration. He is also very calm in tense environments, only acting rashly when someone he knows has been hurt.

Special Abilities: If rendered blind, he has taken his breed's ability to see underground and adapted it to be used above ground. By covering himself in mud, he can see all around him. However, this only works for the areas of his body that are covered entirely.

(Improved/editied ability as a result of Demi-god status): Baldirak can see into the past and future, not only of the planet, but it's inhabitants. To do this, Baldirak digs his claws into the Earth, connecting himself with the energy that flows through it, and concentrates on who and what specifically he wishes to see. His eyes take on a darker shade of blue. Looking through the past, the images Baldirak sees are crystal clear and nothing is hidden. To see into the future of another Dragon is difficult, however. He can see clearly, but he can only see a week ahead and certain events in that Dragon's life are hidden from him, such as meetings between or with Tribe Leaders. Fights are completely hidden if he is to be directly involved in them (excluding wars: meaning he can at least see fragments of the event, but they are unclear and nothing of certainty can be gleaned from the images), including spars. One's death is also hidden from him (excluding NPCs there; but obviously I wouldn't be able to see another character's death), even his own, (cause I don't know when/how Baldirak will die Razz

Kenina's King: Baldirak can breathe fire. Because it is magic-based instead of a natural ability, and Baldirak has no FireWing heritage, the fire is weak. It can get hot enough to cause a first degree burn. Because it is Fire-based magic and not Earth-based, Baldirak's magical energy is depleted significantly with each use, restricting his use to only three times. His eyes turn orange to indicate he is about to use the ability.

Weaknesses: He is very stubborn and will often continue fighting even when he should retreat or is too injured. If in an intense battle facing multiple enemies at once, he can be overwhelmed, especially if they are all attacking. An old injury to his right foreleg never healed properly, causing him to limp. In an effort to maintain a sense of physical strength among others, Baldirak will place full weight on his right foreleg and walk normally, causing tremendous pain. He has learned to hide all traces of this pain in his expression, but it takes a great toll on him. His paw pad is overly sensitive to touch, also a result of his injury. There are days when this pain is crippling, Baldirak's only relief being to sleep (if he can manage to sleep). Baldirak's time seeing ability requires him to have his claws dug into the Earth, so it is not something he can use anytime he pleases. It also requires quite a bit of energy. Anything less than five minutes has no effect on him, but anything over leaves him physically drained and in need of rest for up to two hours. Baldirak can see one of the aforementioned events (excluding wars: this would still appear only as fragments) which are normally hidden to him by using all of his energy, and he must wait up to two weeks before he can use his ability again.

Combat Style: He is very observant and often allows enemies to attack without retaliation so he can study their habits. He will then try to create situations or attacks that will exploit that enemy's weaknesses. He is fond of luring airborne enemies into areas that challenge their ability to react quickly to an environment they are unfamiliar with.

Background
RP Sample: Baldirak's eyelids lifted slowly as he awoke. His maw opened in a yawn before he lifted his head suddenly in reaction to a drop of rather cool water that hit his snout. "...It must be Monday. It always seems to rain on Mondays." And indeed it was raining, a fine mist that chilled a Dragon to the bone if he/she didn't start moving around to keep themselves warm. With another yawn and a stretch of his wings, the old one rose to his feet and shook the clinging droplets from his hide. He then began walking toward the young EarthWing Guardian that had made a habit of following him around, despite his protests.
