Don't Know What to Name This, but it's Open.

Tulvir visited the heart of FireWing territory for the first time in awhile. He usually spent his time at or near the borders. But lately, he found this to be even more boring than usual, especially as a Guardian. So today, he decided to go to the palace. Maybe someone would need help with something there. The half IceWing landed outside and gave a quick nod to the two guards posted at the door. Then he walked in and looked around. With no particular destination in mind, he simply wandered about, looking for anyone who might need an extra paw.

Ventus smelled his father. His eyes widened at the males proud figure walking slowly around. It seemed as if he was bored, and Vinny would fix that problem now.

With a loud but cute roar he jumped out from behind the rocks he was hiding and ran forward to tackle Tulvir in the leg.

Tulvir wasn't expecting his son to be at the palace... He should have been hjome, resting in the den full of ice. So he was startled when he heard a tiny roar felt something tackle his leg. Blinking, he looked down to see Ventus there. "Ventus? What are you doing here, you tumbleweed?" Smiling and with a chuckle, Tulvir lowered his head and blew a puff of icey mist at the Hatchling.

Ventus was happy that he had startled his father and grinned up at him with gleaming eyes. A laugh tumbled out of his maw as the hatchling rolled onto his back embracing the icy mist that Tulvir blew at him. It felt so nice! and for a moment the slight hitch in his breathing went away while his nose and runny eyes cleared up.

Then Vinny wiggled on the ground towards his fathers feet pretending to be like a little worm. He tried to climb up his foot and leg after, all while giggling. Dat feels good pappa. Nice n cool! Vinny totally ignored his father question instead commenting on the frozen mist from just before. His current quest was to get to the top of his fathers head so that he could see the pretty palace from higher up.

Tempest wandered down the halls of the palace, grappling with several absolutely ridiculous flags and things which her FireWings absolutely insisted to have. She saw no reason for them, so she was secretly taking them away in order to burn them and was about to head straight past the exit. She checked it once, then knowing it was clear, she stepped out and--Oh. It wasn't quite clear.

Tempest gave the two of them a bit of a sheepish smile, before she inclined her head to them. "Good evening! How are you goi--" The flags and material tumbled our of her paws as she bowed and she groaned, before using her tail to scoop them all up again and placed them on her back for safe keeping. "How are you this fine day?" She asked, half pretending that it didn't happen and she didn't just completely embarrass herself in front of her beloved FireWings.

Tulvir laughed as his son clambered up his face, trying to get to the top of his head. He blew another puff of ice at him. And then he helped in surprise at the sudden clattering nearby, turning to see the Tempest. But he wasn't sure whether to laugh, bow, or go help... He ended up doing all three at once. "... Are you... okay?" he asked between stifled laughs as he trotted over. Of course, before he could actually lend a paw, Tempest had already taken up the flags. "I'm fine, if just a little bored. There's not much to do around here lately, even though I'm a Guardian." (By the way this takes place before Tempest became Queen) Tulvir glanced up to make sure Vinny hadn't fallen off when he was trotting. "I'm Tulvir, by the way. And this is my son, Ventus."

Tempest chuckles nervously to Tulvir, only slightly embarrassed. She was afraid to laugh any harder, for fear of dropping the parcel again and damaging them further. She used her tail to somewhat scratch her head as her cheeks flared in embarrassment. Tempest glanced up to her fellow guardian, a grin on her face. "Yea.... I'm fine, just a bit clumsy still!" She laughed a little, smiling brightly at him. "I'm Tempest, it's a pleasure to meet you-and this was Ventus was it?" She inquired, before she looked around. Then she found it, and looked up at the little hatchling perched on the top of his head.

Internally, her heart melted slightly, she adored hatchlings! She grinned up at him, before readjusting a slipping flagpole. "He's absolutely adorable! How old is he?" She asked, then began to look where she could try and get rid of these ludicrous poles and flags. Due to their flammable material, she had to douse her flames so that they didn't come in contact with it and accidentally ignite from her.

Ventus struggled against his fathers smooth scales and gravity as he attempted to climb the mountain that was his fathers back and neck. He was stubborn though, and the hatchling didn't give up. In the end his weak little claws hoisted the boy up to the crown of his fathers head where Ventus gazed out at the world with a new perspective. His father was turned the other way, but Vinny had seen the female making her way closer carrying various things. It was only as The boy watched Tempest drop the items that Tulvir heard and turned around to look at the woman.

Aether gripped hard onto his fathers skull as the larger drake turned to look at the noise of scrolls and other things dropping. Then Tulvir began to speak with the woman, and she answered. Vinny lowered himself on his fathers head laying upon the spines and in between his horns. His head tilted to the right, then to the left as the two adults chatted for a bit. Then the fiery woman looked up at Vinny grinning.

Her smile was infectious, and not even a half a second later Ventus was smiling broadly waving his tail back and forth. His spine covered hide rattled as he bounced happily on Tulvir's head. Hi! the child answered the woman named Tempest happily.
