Personality: As an assassin, Veigar Jhin is a serious, cold, ruthless killer who will destroy anyone to get his job done. He is a murderous psychopath who finds beauty in death, seeing it as art. He is quite the introvert, never talking to anyone unless they peak his interest or they have hired him. On occasion Veigar will speak to his victims as well upon crippling them in his shadow of death, mocking them of their foolishness and weakness. This makes him rather smug and confident in his abilities. He has every right to be, after all. Veigar is a superb assassin, feared by many. He did not achieve such a reputation by skipping around in a field of daisies. A field of daisies splattered by blood would be much more fitting.

Veigar Jhin is a no-nonsense type person who refuses any risk or form of distraction. He does his best to stay on task, avoiding pointless conversation. This also means he has absolutely no hobbies, as his only passion is for killing, art, and riches. This means he is rather greedy and, being the determined assassin he is, will not hesitate to pause to snatch a pretty trinket if he happens to spot one. All in all, Veigar is a cold, calculating, independent killer disgusted by distraction and reliance on others.

But what about his soft spot? Everyone has a soft spot, right? Well. . . That’s for you to discover.

Fears:
-Veigar Jhin is afraid of getting attached to someone. He does not want to be distracted or held back from his career in any way, shape, or form. This prevents him from falling in love and forging friendships.
Strengths:
-Veigar Jhin is in superb physical condition, having firm muscles for fighting and fast feet for running. He can run 18 MPH, which is only a little faster than average for a human. This makes him a skilled combatant and athlete.
-He is very sneaky and can slink by unnoticed in crowded areas at times thanks to his slim, nimble form and swift feet.
-The man is very charming as well. While his outside attire might be deemed as frightening, his smooth voice is actually quite attractive. Due to his cunning nature in addition to this, he is equipped with a good amount of charm and can easily sway people or gain their trust if his apparel and infamy doesn’t scare them away.
Weaknesses:
-His fearsome reputation and apparel tends to scare people away which will cause him to miss chances to gain information on his target.
-While his skill is unmatched, Veigar Jhin is growing old. His stamina is somewhat low, causing him to grow sore and fatigued after a mission or a particularly taxing battle.
-Veigar Jhin has a vulnerability to heat. He is constantly clothed in thick cloths which makes him get hot easier and more prone to heat strokes and any of the sort.

General Appearance

Appearance: Veigar Jhin is a tall man with a skinny figure akin to a funnel, having broad shoulders that come to a small waist and spindly legs. Being completely clothed his physical features are a mystery. The colors he wears are purple and blue hues with shimmering gold as an accent. Veigar wears a tight black tunic and trousers but the tunic is hardly ever seen, for around his shoulders is a cloak that is the color of the sky on an overcast day, dark gray-blue but with more blue than gray. The fabric is embroidered by a magenta hue. The cloak forms a hood over his head. Veigar wears golden boots and gauntlets, but the gauntlets have sharp fingers, forming claws. Perhaps his most famous accessory is his mask which hides his identity. It is golden like his boots and gauntlets and covers one eye, only showing one through a small peek hole. Under his mask is another mask, black and covering his whole head. This makes it so that if someone happens to take off his gold mask, his identity will still be hidden. The only way for Veigar’s face to be revealed is to allow him to remove the mask on his own will.

Skills and Abilities
Skills
-Veigar is a tinkerer. This means he is good at making things and simple contraptions activated by springs. It usually takes him six months to create something.
-He is not called Murderer of Multitudes for no reason. Veigar is skilled at the art of killing, claiming the lives of others thanks to his sublime skills in combat and stealth.
Magic:
Veigar Jhin is one of the rare humans capable of performing magic. Like most humans who have magic, he is not very skilled in it despite his years of using it and his wisdom. This limits his abilities.
-He can throw two spheres of dark essence that are six inches in length and width at his opponents from up to 10 feet away. When it makes contact with his victim, the victim is temporarily blinded for one post. Veigar can use this once every five posts or three if he only uses one sphere.
An extension of this ability includes Veigar throwing both spheres to the ground, causing it to puff into smoke that spreads to a radius of 10 feet and makes it hard to see. If he so happens to use one sphere for this rather than two, it will spread to a radius of 5 feet and the smoke will be easier to see through. He can use this once every seven posts, or five if he uses one sphere.
Equipment:
Apparel
-Veigar Jhin has gauntlets armed with claws at his fingertips. This allows him to be able to scratch his opponent during melee combat. The wounds it can cause only goes half an inch deep.

Survival Equipment
-The assassin owns a small flask containing sixteen fluid ounces of oil. He uses this to throw the oil on his opponent. He can only use the oil once a topic (unless the topic takes longer than an IC day, giving him time to refill the flask).
-He also has flint and steel. This lets him start fires in the wilderness. However, more often than not, he uses this in dire situations. As said above, Veigar will throw oil on his opponent, and then he sets a fire to it, catching the oil on fire while it is still on the victim. The rest is history.

Weaponry
-A crossbow made of polished wood reinforced with steel. It comes with fifteen steel arrows capable of travelling deep into flesh and piercing iron. The arrows must be collected before they can be used again. The crossbow also has two steel daggers at the end, allowing Veigar to stab his opponent with it when pinned or in melee range.
-Spring-loaded triple dagger. This is a weapon Veigar has made himself using steel, a button, and a spring. Upon pressing a button on the handle, two blades slide from the grip which gives the dagger three blades rather than one.
-Steel caltrops. Veigar has five of these that he uses by throwing them where he predicts his victim might tread. Stepping on one of them will cause pain and a deep stab wound.
-Steel shurikens. Veigar has five of these. He throws them at his victim which will lodge itself into flesh with ease or whichever surface it lands on (except stone of course). They travel up to 15 feet away.
-Two steel hidden daggers. These are golden-colored daggers hidden underneath Veigar’s gauntlets that slip out discreetly, used to secretly dispatch enemies.
-Finally, Veigar’s main weapon is a scythe. It is made of dark steel and even taller than he is, being 7 feet and 3 inches tall. It is serrated at one part of the blade. This is used to lightly catch onto someone’s clothes and pull on them, making it easy to capture people on horseback.

Combat Style: Veigar Jhin is an assassin who doesn’t care who he kills to reach his target. He often kills multiple groups at once due to his tactics when he deems a target worthy. This includes him dumping dead bodies into a river to poison the water supply of his victim and many others or plant a carcass somewhere discreet within city walls to spread disease. He also sometimes uses the oil to line a street and catches it on fire when his victim is in the area. Veigar typically uses stealth and trickery to kill, as can be inferred by his very few magical capabilities.
