Personality: His first impression is that of a dragon not to be approached. They are unusually silent during conversations and when they do speak, it is a sentence or so before back to quiet, this is usually due to thinking about what he is about to say carefully, usually meaning silence , then suddenly an eloquently worded sentence out of nowhere.
He enjoys being 'lost' in thought, and it is not unusual to find him sat with a frown staring to nowhere, unresponsive. This process allows him to 'recharge' his thoughts and to gain rest, but can sometimes lead to morbid questions and pondering.
Daelec enjoys being alone, but not being lonely. Usually, they are dismissive and seem fatigued, but they are secretly thrilled with any attention they get.
Around strangers, they lock up and shut up, and can be seen as intimidating and therefore off-putting, but they are compassionate for those who are kind, and would travel to the end of the world for those few. They seem to seek the delinquents, or those with something 'wrong' with them, as they feel they fit in. Daelec is also plagued with his physical issues, which lead to sleepless nights and painful days, due to this, they can sometimes snap and become aggressive, which he fears in himself. When they are aggressive, it can be terrifying to other dragons that do not know him due to his usually quiet demeanor, which amplifies his actions.

Interests:
-Observing; having to be conscious of energy levels, watching has become a small hobby. His favourite is small things- how can something so tiny still function?
-Other dragons; tied into observing, he enjoys taking in mannerisms of others, and uses their flaws to better himself
Dislikes:
- Bright light; it impedes his vision to be more than an inconvenience.
- Large gatherings of dragons; it drains their energy to have to keep up with them all.
- Dragons taking things for granted or generally being unappreciative

Fears: That those who they have finally got close to do not truly like them, and that they are slowly being isolated and will be left with nothing, as well as feeling weak due to their health. A main one is finally snapping at those who they love, and causing irreparable damage [physical or emotional]

General Appearance
Height: Around 40ft tall- fully grown
Average Flight Speed:  90mph
Scales: His scales are a deep midnight black, but are iridescent with a purplish blue in bright light. Their scales are ragged, in a 'manta ray' shape.
Eyes: Daelec's eyes are white, but can shift to a deep blue/purple when hiding, to prevent the glowing white from giving them away. Their left eye has a 'frosted over' look. Their pupils are the same colour to their iris, giving a "no-pupil" effect, which can be unnerving to some.
Appearance: Crow has four main limbs and two wings, which are great in size and bat-like. Some of the webbing has torn.  Their claws are long and jagged. Scars dance around their body, casting deep grooves. Two long, thick and curved horns curl around his pointed ears, while two others sprout backwards. Sharp spines trickle down their back, becoming smaller as they approach his tail, which is long and whip-like. Large wings sprout from their back, with a hook-like appendage at the bending point which has limited dexterity. Their voice is deep, and has a slight 'growl' to it. His body is built like a greyhound, outwardly skinny and lanky but packed with muscle.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths: Daelec has great perseverance, meaning when he is knocked down, don't turn your back for too long. Due to this, he has a generally strong mind powered by himself. He will not give up easily. They are zippy in flight, and are difficult to track due to their erratic flying style. Their impaired vision has a small upside; all other senses are slightly heightened.

Normal Abilities: Daelec has control of shadows- He can manipulate them into spears or sharp arrowhead-like formations that slice deep incredibly easily, but this takes a lot of concentration and tires him, due to him being 50/50. There is a 2 post cooldown of attacking after this, and a 1 post action cooldown, as it is powerful.
Special Abilities:
His breath, a static/lightening concoction, causes heavy damage, but vapors and smoke that emits from whatever is hit and the beam itself is a mild sedative, and if directly inhaled, can cause drowsiness and confusion. A pure stream of this fog can be produced, but has a shorter range as it disperses, and has different effects on the size of dragon he is battling.

His long and slender build assists him in aerial maneuvers, and although he has never created a storm, powerful gusts of wind can be created, and a tornado-like formation has been achieved between him and another dragon. Extended periods of fast/powerful flight tires him easily, and a cooldown period of 1 post is required for any flight damage inflicted.

Weaknesses: Daelec has pain in their joints, meaning long term flight is difficult, but not impossible. They are much like a greyhound in the aspect that they are fast, but have low stamina. Daelec also has mild blindness in their left eye, causing difficulty in very bright light, and a small blindspot. They are used to this, but it can be taken advantage of rather easily.
Due to their weakened immune system, poison attacks deal 5% more damage initially

Combat Style: Daelec is unpredictable in battle, as they calculate things on the go, but it is safe to say that they are a trickster. Flitting to and fro, they twist themself like a cat, continuously flipping and righting, but head locked on target. Their sleek build allows for fast dodging and maneuvers, but if a flight lasts too long, they have to land. Daelec mainly uses breath and shadows, but is absolutely not afraid of getting physical. Jagged claws are great weapons.

Background
History: Daelec was abandoned from a clutch of eggs when it rolled away and down an incline, leaving a thin crack, which was considered a weakness. Despite this, they survived, hatching and surviving with the natural instinct that dragons have at that age. Due to the incident, their left eye had become impaired and the chronic pain and fatigue that plagues them today came to be.

Once they had come of a steady age, they explored further out of the zone and came upon a small gathering of other dragons. Scared at first, they approached with caution, hiding away whenever anyone even glanced in their direction, but the dragons eventually spotted them and investigated. At the time, they were only a year or so old and had no other interaction, barely surviving. When asked questions, all they could communicate with was with croaks, which were alike to crows, gaining them the nickname. Gradually being taught general speech and ways. They were taught by a kind dragon who they attached themself to, by the name of Ailis.

Eventually, a small battle occurred, and Daelec gained true knowledge of their abilities, but lost Ailis in the process, leaving him with nothing. Wandering again, he came across the rouges he knows today, but was incredibly silent and weary, sometimes unnecessarily aggressive.
Maturing into the dragon he is now, he still has social issues, but trusts those in the close group he travels with today


RP Sample: Daelec lay half-curled under the small outcrop of rock, eyes tracking the other dragons striding by. Their tail twitched slightly as one or two came too near, but he was generally still. As he noticed Falie approaching, he lifted his head as if it were heavily weighted, and heaved himself up off of the ground, sitting instead, gaze fixated on the steadily approaching figure.
"Ready to go, then?" She stated, a glimmer of a smile dancing in her eyes. Daelec gave a curt nod and blinked, gazing upwards. "Lead the way"
She bunched her strong back legs and launched herself upwards, wings spreading out and giving thick audible beats against the crisp air. As she swooped above his head, he gave a low, grumble chuckle as he followed suit, quickly becoming comfortably airborne. No more than two beats and they were off into the distance.

I'm not sure how do do abilities, so sorry for that, I'll be very careful to not be overpowered, and would appreciate some help in sorting them out. If anything needs changing, I'd be happy to comply! I'm a newbie to this so I hope I got everything!

So I've added an additional section to the app for you to put your normal abilities so it will be easier to figure out what your special ability is.

One thing that needs fixing is your flight speed. A more exact number would be better. I'd suggest somewhere around 80-90mph since he's only half SkyWing. Also, his height is too big. Since you're a half-breed, your max height will be that of the bigger species, in this case, the NightWing. The max height of NightWings is 40ft.
