Just Had an Idea

So, I was thinking of something we could do to take our minds off of stuff. How about an Olympics-type event? All the Tribes hold events within their own territories (insert montage of that here) then the winners (aka those who would like to participate) go on to compete with the other Tribes. Each tribe will host an event and must make sure that whatever it is, their members won't have an unfair advantage over the others. Each event will have two winners, one male and one female (or genderless for those who have such a character). But, this won't be limited to Dragons. Reptilians, Manticores, Ice and Fire Phoenix, Thunderbirds, Griffins, they can all participate, too! What do you guys think? Have a different idea?

I could get down to this, but what about basic territorial advantages? I know that you said that tribes will make it fair, but how will other tribes survive in Icewing territory, and same with other territories. Some of the climates are just too extreme. How will we fix that?

Well, for the extreme climate tribes, the event will take place close to the border where the climate isn't too bad.

I hate to sound racist but not all dragons are born equal and creating 7 diffrent events that is fair for every race is impossible.

I love this idea!
It hardly matters if the events are not all totally equal, we can still create interesting scenarios that require imagination and strategy and will be a lot of fun.
For instance the skywings would rule flying competitions, but something like the sheep game from HTTYD would be a lot more balanced, with other dragons having their own advantages to partially counter the superior SW manoeuvrability. It'd still probably be won by SW's, but it wouldn't be totally unbalanced.

Well, why not have many different sorts of sports like in human olympics. Like~

Flight hoop race
Ground racing
Swimming
Iron ball toss
Longest leap
soccor???
Target aim
Brawling

Or maybe even have an all out arena war for whoever is the toughest of dragons and other such creatures. Where there ample ammount of security of the sidelines ready in case things get too serious and someone tries to kill someone else who already down.

You could get the previous winner to host each time, too, if they want and are willing/skilled enough to. It might provide a good variety to it.
