Personality:
He cannot say 'no' to a challenge. No matter what it is, his competitive personality simply doesn't allow him to back down from any sort of challenge. Thorin is a clever and compassionate dragon, willing to spend the time and effort to sit down and really get to know others. Thorin also has a tendency to be loyal to his leader or potential mates.
Thorin is also welcoming and friendly to newcomers, trying his best to make them feel welcome as he knows what it is like to be on the outside. He also would do his best to make them feel like they are able to relax with him. Thorin also desires the best for anyone who is put under his care and would do his best to either mentor or protect them.
Don't think that he's a dragon without flaws, because he has a major one. He can't understand teasing or joking as he takes everything literally. If someone were to tell him the sky was red, he would believe them then become rather angry as they had just dared to lie to him and try to say the sky was red. He hates people trying to lie or deceive, and would probably try to hit them if he was quick to find out that they just lied.
Interests:

• Flight - This includes any sorts of flying, slow leisurely flights, quick competition flights, relaxing ones, you name it! Thorin absolutely adores flying, finding it quite relaxing and is able to find a sense of seclusion and tranquility while he is flying.
  

• Deep and Meaningful Conversations - Although he doesn't mind small talk, Thorin really lives for the conversations that mean something. The ones that can really bring a dragon to life and ones that show that they are incredibly passionate about a certain topic. He loves seeing dragons who talk about the things that they adore.
  

• Competitions - Even though he's all for those deep conversations, he also loves a good fight. Almost a bit like a FireWing with their boisterous and hot-headed nature, he loves fighting with other dragons. It builds up his tolerance to take hits and also helps him to practice his own unique techniques that he can develop.
  

• Physical Activities - To top it all off, he loves a good physical activity to help him remain strong. He could almost be considered to be addicted to these sorts of activities due to how much time he is willing to spend doing these sorts of things.  
  

Dislikes:

• FireWings - Due to the bloodshed of his parents, Thorin absolutely hates FireWings. He has made a vow never to trust a FireWing as they can never be trusted due to their rash and reckless nature.
  

• Boredom - Well, he hates being bored. Sitting around, lazying about with nothing to do. He HATES it and would do almost anything to make sure that he didn't become bored.
  

• Tricks, Traps or Anything Deceiving - Lies. Stupid lies. Anything that's false or misleading, even the faintest comment that is most obviously a lie, Thorin hates. He just wishes dragons weren't cunning and just straight forward with everything, it would make everyones lives easier.
  

Fears:

• Limb Removal - Thorin is deathly afraid of the loss or paralysis of any of his limbs. The last thing he would want to do is lose the ability to walk normally, his flight or his tail, he would just hate it.
  

General Appearance
Height: 54 feet tall
Scales:
On his body, Thorin has a wide variety of different shaded purple scales. The shapes range from fish scales to normal triangular scales and small spherical scales. On his underbelly, they have a similar style of being rather randomly shaped, however, they are a creamy colour.
Eyes:
His eyes have an orange base with a normal black pupil.
Appearance:
Thorin has a rather intimidating appearance as he is a large and daunting figure. He towers over most of the SkyWings who he is near and his dark scales make it clear that he has NightWing in his blood. He has the normal 4 limbs, which are incredibly muscular for someone of his tribe.
Thorin has two large horns on his head. They are incredibly large. The horns firstly go back, then they curve forward and end with a menacing tip. He has two giant leathery wings and his back is covered in wicked spines. They grow smaller as they progress down his tail that ends in a whip-like fashion.

Skills and Abilities
Strengths:

• Strength - Due to his love for competitions, fights, and other close ranged battles, Thorin has an incredibly muscular frame. He has the strength of an average FireWing and even then he can give them an incredible run for their money. In a head to head fight, it would be difficult to tell who would be better off and due to this, he is most likely one of the physically strongest SkyWings.
  

• Reflexes and Speed - Thanks to his SkyWing inheritance, he is able to fly to speeds of up to 100mph. In a dive, he can increase the speed that he can travel at speeds reaching 110mph, but during a dive he cannot turn sharply or really turn that much at all. He would have to break out of his steep descent by pulling his wings out and forcing himself to stop.
  
  Thorin also has reflexes which are slightly above the average dragon, however, they are not so significant that they would be able to dodge a bullet with ease. His reflexes would allow him to move only around but are able to react so that he could dodge something that is 6 inches to his right instead of being hit by it.
  
  However, his speed and reflexes aren't his strong point. His main strength is his lightning.
  

Special Abilities:

• Lightning Bolts - He is able to concentrate his powers to form a bolt of lightning. This bolt can either come from his tail or his maw, depending on where he decides he wishes his lightning to be. At max, he can only have 2 bolts released at a single time. They are rather small, and fly at around 70mph. These are around 2 foot wide but can only reach around 45 feet in front of him. After they hit this max range, their energy just fizzles out into nothing. To use these is like a normal FireWing breath attack or a SeaWings water hit, but they do require some build up of power. If he started a fight at say 60% of his 'maximum energy', to use the bolts would require 10% of the charge to use. They are incredibly taxing for him to use energy wise, which is also a reason he is weak to ranged. To recharge his energy, he would need to eat, rest of just try to stall out his opponents and use very little energy for the next 3 posts. Each post he rests only restores 10% of the charge for his lightning, so he really does prefer not to use this attack.
  

• Lightning Strikes - Calling his powers to form at his paws, he can enhance his claws to have rather powerful strikes. These burn and electrify the target if he is able to connect with them. The more the dragon is exposed to the attack, the more damage it will do. This attack uses much less of his energy as it is still in contact with his body. However, while he is using this ability, if his legs or arms were cut by another dragon, the bleeding he has from the hits would be rather hard to stop as he uses tiny and easily damaged spikes to transfer energy across to his paws. These spikes can be activated or deactivated depending on if he's using the lightning or not. However, if he is using the lightning and they become damaged, excess bleeding occurs and needs professional treatment to be able to fix it.
  

• Lightning Empowerment *Requires a storm to be active* - During a lightning storm, Thorin is able to pull the power of the surrounding lightning t his horns and spines. From there, he can channel the power back into his paws and his maw. If he so desires, he can concentrate the lightning he has absorbed into a single attack more powerful attack. This attack forms something like a giant blade that cuts through the sky. The blade is around 40 feet long and 2 foot wide which lasts for around 100 foot before it fizzles out like his lightning strikes. He can only do this once per 5 posts (for Thorin or posts that Thorin does) and is ONLY available if there is a lightning storm around.
  

Weaknesses:

• Multiple Targets - He really struggles against multiple opponents as he isn't very good at keeping track of more then one target. One is easily able to distract him while the second attacks him from behind or from the side.
  

• Area of Effect abilities - Abilities which can used and hit a large area, for example, fire, water, icy breath etc, really hinder him. His reflexes only work for small areas and considering the wide turning circles he has to do to make sure he doesn't black out, Thorin can easily be caught in AoE abilities. These abilities are also are normally a ranged attacks, which is another area that Thorin is weak to.
  

• Range - Even though he might be quick, he isn't as fast as the average SkyWing due to his bulky form and he is built for more close up fights. He doesn't fair well in a fight against other ranged users as their ranged attacks normally will outdo his own with their greater range. They are also able to easily block and counter his own strikes.
  

Combat Style:
Try to get in close and personal with them, then use his strength and lightning strikes to really do damage to them.

How strong are the lightning bolts? And how far is his range of control on them? How much energy do they take? This is important if you have a weakness of range, yet have some pretty powerful ranged attacks.
