Absence + Topics for Occy/Au

Hello
I just feel inclined to apologize to anyone if I was rash or very short tempered with last week, and for being inactive this week. I'll try to be smaller than before, but last thursday, I attended a funeral for a friends grandpa, then at the funeral, literally, I got a call saying my own grandpa had a stroke and was being rushed to the ER. I got very stressed, fearing the worst as I was literally attending a funeral when I heard this. I stepped out from modding for the week as things were too stressful, but later learned that someone called all this funny, which really **** me off and they ended it by telling me "you know what f*** you". It hurt really, knowing my grandpa was in the ER and then some person would call it funny and basically tell me a f*** you (they later apologized for saying it was funny, as that was not their intent or I guess what they were talking about, but explicitly made sure that I knew they did not apologize for saying f you. Either way, I still forgive them even though it hurts). So I flew out on Saturday, and saw them that afternoon as grandpa was said to have had a seizure, not a stroke and was let home. That night, grandpa and grandma felt ill, so they retired early. That morning, they awoke with 103 degree fevers, and both had to go to the ER. Long story short, they caught a brand new strain of the flu that had yet to be vaccinated, and would have killed them had they not gone to the hospital. They both are now back home having been released from the hospital and grandpa is on oxygen, so they both are feeling better, but are beat from the sickness.

Anyway, I know I have been absent from topics, and have had over 90 emails since I left. If you could, could you post any topics that I need to reply to here? I'll start helping with the app approval process too.

I feel so bad for you, Oculus. I hope you and them feel better and that your life goes back to normal. That person who was being a jerk to you never should have said that. Was this IRL he said it or on here in the chatbox or something? Anyways, I am not sure what else to say, except for that I feel for you.

Occy, my condolences for your loss.. In my opinion that person shouldn't have cursed at you like that even if they were joking. Glad you forgave them, though; true, what they said was insulting (even if they were joking), but forgiving is the best thing to do.
