ok so i just joined and im about to make a character but does your dragon age/rank change or does it stay with what you put it as

You can age your Dragon. It's rank depends on what it will be. If your Dragon is a Rogue, it will not have a rank at all. But if you join a tribe, your rank can change from, say, Hatchling to Vulcan once it ages.

ok so how do i age it after i set the initial age after its primary creation sir

You get to decide when you want to age it, so you can wait a bit an RP it at an age and decide to change it later, or you can just make it have an age you like from the start. Most people just age with their birthdays, but other can age because of hatchlings or other things that have happened in RP's.

Hey there and welcome on the forum! I'm Hyruu, one of the admins here.
If you haven't read it yet, you should take a look at the [s]totally awesomely written[/s] New Member's Guide, the link is right on the left of your screen.

It is possible to age a character after it is created, all you have to do is asking a staff member to take your character sheet out of the approved area and modify it.
Just a small advice though, making an hatchling as your first character might not be a great idea. This is because as an hatchling you are left out of a lot of things, and it isn't as easy to interact with other dragons compared to when you're playing a teen/adult dragon. As such I would advise to keep that hatchling as a second character (and on top of that, you can keep it longer as a youngling to goof around without any drawback ^^)
