I'm very sorry that I tried to eat you (Open)

It was humid, smelly, but sunset in northwestern Nightwing territory. Just how Atsilo liked it (except for the smelly part). He lounged just outside the edge of the Rotten Forest, sunning himself in preparation for a night hunting under the trees. It wasn't too comfortable, laying on five separate, and in no way smooth, rocks. Both of his wings stretched out in an attempt to catch more of the fading sunlight. His eyes, dark as the night themselves, watched as the orb of warmth slowly sank below the horizon and cast the land in complete darkness. Save for the moon and stars, who tried their best to be like their brighter counterpart. The half moon hovered just above the summit of a faraway mountain, bathing it in a silvery glow.

A rustle in the forest tore him from the picturesque scene to focus on why he was here. Picking himself up, the grey Eastern slunk over the rocks and under the trees, using his sensitive cow-like ears to pinpoint the sound. There it was again, closer this time. Unable to contain an excited grin, Atsilo followed the noises to a clearing completely shrouded in darkness. Annoyed he could see his quarry due to his terrible eyesight, he located it using smell, sound, and sometimes touch. Twitching his tail, the tracker launched himself forward and began wrapping around what he assumed was a leg. "What is this, a moose?" he thought, having serious doubts he had actually nabbed a piece of prey. But if it actually was... his mouth watered at the thought.

*Blueclaw lunged and quickly landed on the bull moose, snapping its back and stabbing her giant claws into its sides as she tore into its throat. The other three tried to take a bite but she HISSED and snapped at them before they even got close. It was dark now and would be a little hard to get home in this light, this time, she would have to let Dagger lead the pack of dragonized velociraptors. Looking over to her left, she saw another dragon a little ways away, she BARKED at it and tilted her head to the side*

*Dagger finally got to lead the pack for once!! Even though he always lost the fight for placement in the pack against Blueclaw, he actually would get to lead them home. He lifted his head and sniffed the air, then turning to see what Blueclaw was looking at, another dragon. He huffed a bit then waited on Blueclaw to eat her fill*
