Sub-Plot: EarthWings Reign!

Alright so, me and Viktor just had the most grand idea for the EarthWings to gain some reputation. Very soon, a war will be going on, and of course, the EarthWings are participating. But! It came to me that maybe other then aiding others in a war, we could also gain ourselves a reputation!

How will we do that? The EarthWings, will be digging Under the kingdoms of Pyyria. After awhile of digging (Without being noticed by anyone.), the crust of your territory will collapse you will be trapped in the darkness of the tunnels, wholes, and tiny caverns dug by the EarthWings. Much like a inevitable maze that only EarthWings can solve. In the meantime of you all trying to get your way out of the 'trap', EarthWings will be seizing your kingdoms for useful resources, and maybe claim some more territory. What do you think and who all shall participate?

I will participate with my Earthwing dragon Sorrell. She can grow any type of plant life which means she will be able to grow tree's inside the place to make it harder to get out of and cover up any noticeable spots on the outside so dragons cant see that they are digging.

This could be one of EarthWings tactics to take by surprise their adversaries. It looks interesting and special, and it would add more depht the conflict

Once we'll get enough partecipants for the fight, we can include this sub-plot.

Would/should/... the SkyWings be involved in this? We do live in the skies, so it wouldnt be really possible for us to be trapped underground...Though Arkreious lives in a tree that can most likely be overturned. Besides him, I dont see how the SkyWings would get involved in this whole plot.

Remember you need to find people that would be fine about being trapped underground before to start the event. You can expect other characters would avoid about being trapped underground.

If people don't want to be trapped underground, then they won't participate. Those who are participating will be trapped underground, it's inevitable since no one knows what the EarthWings are doing and where at what time to who. They are so deep underground that no one can notice them.

I will participate as Zeh Chibs, anyways I have a question. Everything sounds awesome except for 1 thing..... Digging, especially from large dragons tend to be very loud, how would nobody notice? Will they just send out letters that earthwings are having a fittness day so there might be some slight rumbles? Slightly confuzed on this, but other then that it seems awesome.

I'm gonna register, Arcke is fine with being trapped but do you promise you will put his tree back? XD he is feisty when it comes to breaking his tree, even a branch!

This'd be hard for SeaWings, also. Unless you want your tunnels to flood?

We aren't digging straight under the sea. And besides, if you flood the tunnels, everyone who isnt a seawing will drown.

Really interesting plot idea although, lets remember that the NightWing territories have corrupted swamps and tainted woods, if you collapse any of our land, you'd no doubt end up spreading some toxic pandemic or another among those diggers who dug through NightWing soil haha.

May I add my own idea to the topic ? I thought it could be nice if you didn't make all Pyria collapse (because well that's a lot of work) but only a small zone. We could say that for a reason, all the leaders and tribe members who wanted to tag along were gathered (let's invoke politics for example), and at that moment you guys make the place of the meeting collapse.
This way, not only you avoid digging problems in several territories like water, sky and night, but we also get to have all tribes gathered at the same place, cooperating (or not !) to make they way out of the maze. It would be nice to have all tribes interacting that much !

That would be a great idea Hyruu, but the EarthWings could then make themselves the major enemy for a grand coalition of all Tribes if they attacked a Political summit full of leaders and their personal guard, once they break free, war would be declared and every Tribe would cut of economic trade and march (fly) towards the Earthwing domain for war xD
Which ironically will still be brilliant, as it will bring forth a lot of character development and hopefully get people really engaged into the Rp, as long as the EarthWings are willing to deal with the consequences, haha

Wait, because making all the tribes' territories collapse doesn't count as a war declaration against the tribes ? I don't think the Earthwings really care at that point XD

However, Cosmos know it's practically war but keep in mind that he will be diggin in certain places. For example, Cosmos wouldn't dig right under a Firewing volcano, the risk is too high. Along with the Seawing waters. He would only go for the "easy" targets. I mean, he doesn't truly care about war unless he is outnumbered (Which he is) and his goal is to increase in forces before actually making the palaces collapse.

Now I am trying to think of a way that this won't turn into a war against all tribes. Cosmos may even ask for the help of a tribe or two so the odds would be more then even in his perspective.

Yeah it's right that after this all the tribes are going to be against you. I guess that if we imagine the summit took place in the Earthwing territory, in the worst case you just could pretend it was an accident XD
