New Rewards For Dragon Points?

Nobody pays attention to the DP anymore! We need new, exciting ideas for things we can buy with dragon points! All the basic stuff on there is really boring, like name changes and emoticon addition. So here are a few examples of new rewards!

Armor Related

Leather Armor
Iron Armor
Steel Armor
Golden Armor
etc.

Life/Death

Life - If your dragon dies, you can get them back for 500 DP. Or you can make a deal with Verioth or Shiamaedosu, which may very well result in eternal slavery to the devil(s).

I certainly would love to see armor being available

Wait our dragons die in RP they die perma? O.o well okay.... I have enough for 2 revives then....

Can we have custom back grounds in our profile? Sorts like roblox when u have BC, but I imagine that would be hard SO!

What if you already have armor? Like I have super stong ice armor that will never melt. Maybe we could have some of my ideas too.
Another spacial ability- 1,000 DP
Addition character(like on that one account)-100 DP(or maybe 50)
Weapon-500 DP(price varies apon the quality and powers)
Character Symbol-300 DP(price varies apon hardship)
Summons(Demon, monsters, stuff you can summon with a mark)- 500 DP(price varies apon how powerful it is, and how hard it is to summon)

So basically, you would be able to customize and make your own den. You can feel free to add as many fullmetal alchemist posters, etc. on the wall of your cave or whoever you live.

O.O Ok I'll give input on this. First off armor is already available to all the tribes. Let me remind you of one of the ranks we have and I quote

"Vulcans: These dragons work in the forges of the tribes. They are scarred from working and they make armor for all dragons, incuding the full body armor, metal claws, horns, and spikes or  just parts, like the body armor or head armor. They also make weapons, from daggers and knives, to long weapons like spears."

Next up I'm unhappy with the way DP is handled. You could just spam OOC posts in things such as games and in not time have a ton of DP. For example like Akreious. Now if DP was only earned through IC RP posts I'd be fine with it.

Lastly this is not a competitive site. Your character isn't going to die unless you want it too and if you want it to die then why would you bring it back to life?

So far all the proposed ideas are things you can do IC making them DP requirements would limit things you can do IC. Why does it matter that there aren't good rewards for the DP?

How about being able to name places, like you explore areas which you could name and use in rp stories? then it could be added into the world?

So, your saying that it doesn't really matter if we have Grima's idea be a thing because the system is corrupted? I'm kinda confused. It also seems like you have some pent up aggression about certain things. Also how would we get armor and weapon from the Vulcans if the site right now has exactly 0?

I disagree, if i'm doing a side story, or a roleplay and i die, i want to feel free to post again in others roleplays, and it's totally unfair to force people to "buy back" their own charachters, also it's for too many points!!!
this could work for an event, like you said about the hunger game, but not for the entire site, please, don't.

about the armors i think it's a good idea

and i said in the chat, points should be earned for everyone, also who is not roleplaying and just enjoy to be here, or to read roleplays, or to post in others topics
this is the way to help the site to grow and make the users interested giving them the possibility to move in a more free and fair way

A chracter symobol is like the emblem of your charcater. It would be on your armor, wepons, etc. It's like the triforce sybol to the legened of zelda or the pink ribbon for breast cancer awarness. ya get what I'm sayin?

I disagree about the new changes

Dragon Points should be used to buy extra stuff that doesn't influence the roleplaying experience (custom rank, for example).

The new direction totally shook up the current system because DP are now a currence that makes a character stronger and more powerful. Basically "spammers" will get rewarded now.

I believe we should do a poll first to see the userbase's opinion.

Well, how else are people suppose to get fulfilling rewards? Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, EVER uses the DP! So, if we do a contest, rewarding people with DP is practically meaningless. This is suppose to limit power so you have to buy it. :/ If you can think of an idea to give DP more use, fine by me. All I want is an efficient system.

Still thinking though! D: hmmm, I got a few in mind but I have yet to build upon those, I'll keep you updated once built enough
