Advisory Training? (Wake)
First topic message reminder :
The old dragon had quite a happy smile as he walked through a tunnel and eventually emerge into a cave with a large opening above. To one side was another large opening that showed the ocean as waves rocked against the entrance, his paws treading through the warm sand that was present through the whole cavern as he headed for a wooden structure of sorts. This structure being the remains of different human ships that wrecked and washed up inside the seaside cavern, most of which he gathered and made into a den of sorts. Satisfied of a quick look over, he turned back over to where the light shone down from the roof.
Pretty well hidden and large enough for his plans as he walked over onto a large flat stone bathed in sunlight and sat, curling up with a slight yawn. A faint smile showed, "A perfect place to train indeed." He chuckled as he waited for the young dragon to arrive.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake was happy to find a way out of the death trap known as the ruins. He only wished that it was already opened. Well, he couldn’t change that, so the wyvern quickly laid down to rest.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
The clone had wanted to make up to Wake about whatever it did, but it didn't want the bad look again. So it had waited near the resting wyvern as Rathor continued to make the hole bigger. Eventually, the older dragon had to take a break but had made some progress as he laid the hammer to the side and sat panting. "Very...very thick rock." He said as he stretched and grunted, the strain quite obvious from the effort he did in trying to make a bigger opening.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake gave Rathor a worried look, not concerned with the clone at that moment. The wyvern was quick to shoot his uncle a worried glance. ”Are you ok?”

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Rathor waved him off, "I'm fine...just used to pounding metal, not solid rock with a hammer." He took a few breaths and got back up, grabbing the hammer again as he resumed hitting the opening again. The clone meanwhile had wanted to make Wake not angry at it, so it had wandered off and it had came back with a crystal that had broken off a formation. It chirped at Wake to get his attention and showed him the

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake just watched as the older dragon got back to beating rock before the clone came back and chirped. The wyvern turned to see that it had brought a crystal from Astral knows where. Wake quickly pushed the hatchling-like clone away from the crystal, and spoke with a protective tone. ”Hey, hey, hey. You’ve gotta be careful. We don’t know what these things could do.”

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
The clone gave a sad look before walking away and heading off to find something else interesting. Which it found a small room they passed on the way, going into it to find something else of interest. To which it came back with a...weird shaped rock and it chirped again, showing Wake the rock it had found.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake sat there for a bit, using stones to move the crystal away, until he heard another chirp. He mumbled about the possibility of the clone bringing another crystal, but it only brought a weird rock. The wyvern picked up the rock with his tail, trying to get a closer look. ”Interesting.”

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
The response made the clone excited and it went of to find more things to find. Which made Rathor grunt, "That shadow has certainly taken a liking to you Wake." He said with a light chuckle. "Almost as if its thinking your both related, like an older sibling." The older dragon couldn't help but poke fun at the thought.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake just looked at the older dragon. ”Ha ha. At least it isn’t some psychotic gooball with twisted logic.” He thought back to the other clones, never really wanting to see them again.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
"Well..." Rathor began to say before taking another short break. "It certainly doesn't act twisted. More like a hatchling just curious and finding its way around, thinking its found family or close relatives." Though he did begin to think a bit more about the shadow clone. "Though it does bring up on how the blob even took your form in the first place."
The clone meanwhile had been back in the small store room again, this time trying to open a small box unsuccessfully. With a pout and chirp it whipped its tail across the edge of the box, quick gleam of something sharp as the box flipped open. A smile showed on its maw as it rummaged through the random things and its tail had a small shine before disappearing.
"Especially from how I heard about your encounter with the previous ones. They certainly didn't act like...well, hatchlings."

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
”Yeah,” Wake responded, flashing a concerned look. He then remembered something the Cyrus clone mentioned. ”The smart one, from the first batch, it called me brother. Maybe it’s something that’s just... there.” The wyvern started to think about why this one was so innocent, but he couldn’t think of anything, other than it being one of Mal’s failures.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Rathor shuddered a bit, "Well, certainly something to hear-wait, It talked?" This also caught the older dragon by surprise, considering how the other clone their dealing with is...like a hatchling. A thought began to form in his head as he compared this new, smart clone to the one with them now.
The first ones took their powers...and this second one doesn't, yet they only took their powers right? Then realization dawned on him and an angry look flared, "That CONNIVING, SELF CENTERED, ****! ARGH!" He facepalmed himself as the answer to his questions literally stared at him in the face. "Cyrus would've INSTANTLY noticed this! Those stupid blobs didn't just take our powers, they also took some of our memories in using them! No wonder the one who had mine knew how to do that technique!"

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake just looked shocked at the idea. The thought that those blobs could have.... Oh-no. ”Uncle Rathor. If those things took memories, they may know where the den is!” The wyvern was really worried at this point. What is those things attacked Thantos or Casadora? He didn’t want to think about it.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Rathor then put a comforting paw on the wyvern, "Wake, CALM down. I can still remember which den your talking about, the one by the coast in a sea cave right?" Then shook the wyverns head and went back over to the opening. "I trust Teron to keep them safe and besides," He picked up the hammer, "Were not exactly getting out of here anytime soon." Which he resumed hitting the opening again.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake began to calm down, not liking the feeling of being able to do nothing. He prayed to Kelarth that Thantos and Casa were ok, but that was really all he could do.
It was then that the wyvern noticed a certain blob was missing. He looked around for a second before turning to Rathor. ”Hey. Where’s the oddball?”

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
"No" *Thump* "Idea." Rathor said in between his swings as theres a dragging sound. The missing clone had came back and was dragging an open crate with its maw, stopped a few feet away from Wake. It turned around and gave a happy grin, excited by what it brought for Wake to see. Which made the older dragon chuckle as he worked at the clone's antics and shook his head as if a parent used to their young doing such stunts.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake just shook his head at the response, bug it wasn’t long before he heard a dragging sound. His grey eyes spotted the blob clone, and it appeared this clone had another gift for him, an open crate.
Wake just rolled his eyes and walked over to the crate, keeping his eyes on the basically-a-hatchling. ”What’ve you found now?” The wyvern then looked inside the crate.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Within the crate...were more crystals, an assortment of sizes that could fit and seemed to be organized neatly. The clone had looked happy with its find and wagged its tail affectionately, to which it scampered off again to go find more things to bring. This may be a constant thing it would do until they got out of the ruins and when Rathor would finish making the opening big enough for all of them to get out.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake just rolled his eyes as the clone left, not having enough time to even start criticizing it. At least he wasn't being handed crystals. He just hoped the clone wouldn't cause any trouble. He then looked at Rathor with a curious look on his face. "Any ideas on why that one act like a yearling?"

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Rathor had stopped then, using a paw to feel around the spots he hit with his hammer. "Simple.
Because it is a yearling, nobody around to teach it anything and from how it seems attached to you..." He seemed to examine the spots more closely until nodding as if satisfied.
"Mal most likely ignored it and left it as is until needed." He made some practice motions with the other side of his hammer which seemed to have a pointed end instead of it being flat. "So the first living this its ever seen is us...and somehow felt some sort of connection with you."

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake gave Rathor a confirming nod before looking back at the crystals. What did these things even do, and why would a mad dragon like Mal want them? And why by Astral why did the clone like them so much!? He looked over at his uncle again, having a questioning look. "Ok. That makes sense, but what's with these crystals?"

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
"No idea." Rathor said bluntly as made swinging motions toward different spots. "Cyrus is all about magic and that kind of stuff, so he'd probably be able to tell you. Me? Not so much." Though why Mal had wanted this many crystals, that still raised questions of his own as well.
"Why he had so many...honestly," A deep sigh as if reluctant to say, ".....at one point he probably had a good reason. Unfortunately," a solemn look as he hit a spot with the flat end for good measure. "Good intentions can become twisted whether you realize it or not."

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake just gave a slow nod. He didn't really think about the fact that Mal may have been good at one time. He then hoped he wouldn't end up like that. Someone who was just hungry for power. The wyvern then looked back in the tunnel, trying to take his mind off Mal for a moment, and tried to figure out what the clone would bring next.

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
The clone....had gotten a bit distracted. Distracted as in it began to chase its own tail again in circles and not that far down the hall which Wake could see it. A loud bang is heard as Rathor hit part of the weakened opening with the sharp end of his hammer. Nearly he let go by accident as part of the opening fell away to reveal more of the outside. It was nearly big enough for Wake to get out himself from how much fell away,
"Huh, that certainly worked far better then I thought."

Re: Advisory Training? (Wake)
Wake couldn’t help but laugh at the blob. At least he wasn’t collecting crystals anymore. He couldn’t help but laugh at the clone, at least until he heard a bang.
The wyvern whipped his head around to see that Rathor had knocked a big chunk off the opening. Wake was happy to see progress, and chuckled a bit at his uncle’s comment. ”Well, if ya keep knockin’ off that much, it’ll be a good thing.”
