Seyn angled his wings as he arrived on the place in which his next fight would occur. Cloud top peaks... Quite a nice place, actually. It wasn't that far from his own Tribe, for once it felt nice not to have to travel across the whole world to reach his fighting place... And besides, wasn't his lats opponent a Skywing? He would have to give him a little visit after this fight.
The battlefield was also similar to the previous one he had, except this time there was no snow to cover the rock. Two mountains were at each side of the pass, so high they pierced the clouds. Another low layer of cloud was masking the lower part of the pass. The train seemed pretty treacherous, while a fast dragon could do a lot here they also had a high risk of tripping on something. The wind was blowing, which would make flying harder than usual.
Seyn calmly landed between the two mountains, letting the sun warm his scales. Hopefully at that time of the day the pass was bathed in sunlight. This was good to know. He just sat there, waiting for his opponent to arrive.

Guryon flexed his wings and jumped into the air. He flew towards his next destination. Maybe his last. If that is what his opponent will try to do. Guryon smiled to himself. He flew into some clouds. His closed his wings against his body. He dropped. He dive-bombed down and then he threw his wings out. He flew up and up and up and up. The mountains appeared in the distance. He jetted to the mountains and landed on the side of the mountain.

Seyn continued to wait when he suddenly saw another dragon coming close to the mountain. That was it, this dragon surely was his opponent. The large golden dragon just waited for his opponent to get closer, not showing any sign of preparation or whatsoever. His stance was relaxed more than aggressive, and he just looked at where the dragon was heading. After all it was a tournament, not a bloody war. There was no point in attacking before the presentations were made.

Guryon glared over every inch at the mountain side. He stood tense and ready for a attack. Finally his eyes blinked as a golden glare hit his eyes. He closed his eyes for a few seconds and opened them again. He didnt know where the glow had came from. He growled at himself. He slammed his hand into the ground.

Seyn let out a sigh as the other dragon stood tense and all ready for battle. He let out a long sigh, shaking his head.
"Are you just going to glare at me like this? This is supposed to be a friendly competition you know, I don't need such a look... Besides this battle hasn't begun until we say so. So what about introductions? My name's Seyn, Semi-god of the Lightwing." he said, introducing himself to the other dragon.

Guryon snapped his head to the dragon and almost fell when Seyn said he was a semi. He shouted, ”Noooo!" But he shut himself up really fast. It wouldnt do to let the dragon know, Guryon was a weak semi-god. He cleared his throat. He pointed to himself. ”Guryon. Semi-god also" He refused to waste any more energy in talk then necessary.

Seyn blinked, a bit surprised when Guryon made a quick sound before clearing his throat. That was... A bit weird so to say. But this soon left his mind as Guryon also announced himself as a Semi-God. That was interesting!
"Oh, pleased to meet you too then Guryon! It is a pleasure to meet another Semi-god. I haven't gotten the occasion to meet any, apart from Nihlus. I take it you are the Semi-god from the Seawings?" he asked.
After a moment he realized the other dragon was still tensed.
"There's no need to be so nervous. Like I said, we will begin this duel when we will see it fit. It would be a shame to begin right away before even spending a few minutes to rest from the trip right? After all you got a whole ocean to cross..."

Guryon stayed tense. He stared at the dragon. He didnt blink nor move a muscle for a good while. He yelled at himself for tell the dragon of his status, which would make it even more embarrassing to lose.
Guryon growled. "No need." with this, he got low.

Seyn let out a sigh as the other dragon refused the cordial proposal he had made. He didn't know what was going on, but that dragon wasn't really friendly.
"Alright fine then. Just tell me when you're ready then. I was hoping we could discuss a bit before, but since you don't seem like you are going to..." the Golden dragon told Guryon.
And with this he stood in his current position, sitting on a rock, letting his wings rest a bit before the fight begins.

Guryon listened to Seyn. He waited to seconds before taking the ball of leather in his right front paw. He squeezed his hand into a fist and the ball exploded. Water rushed out and Guryon closed his eyes for a second. Forming the water into a ball. He shot that ball at Seyn.

Seyn adjusted his position as he saw Guryon taking a ball of leather in his paw. What was it ? He didn't really have the time to guess before water splashed from it. He watched as Guryon reformed it as a ball. It would be a bit too fast for him to dodge, so Seyn took the bet to take the attack up front. He covered his wings and raised his face so it wouldn't touch it - if it was aimed at the face, he could easily lower his head and avoid it. Otherwise, he would take the hit on his strongly plated chest.

24H warning Gury

Guryon roared after he sent out the water ball. He jumped into the air and zoomed to the left. He then did a u-turn twice and moved to another spot on the mountain. He then got another leather ball ready.

Seyn let out a growl as the water ball hit him right in the chest. With the velocity of the ball, it was as if he had been punched there. The Golden dragon had withstood worse already, though. Was it just that? Balls without any properties other than their speed? Guryon surely was able to do more than that. After all he was a Semi-God as well.
The Golden dragon flinched as the second ball hit him. Those maybe were doing only some impact damage, but it nonetheless hit pretty hard. He would have to find a way to dodge those. Well dodging them would prove hard. However, making sure Guryon wouldn't be able to aim...
Seyn concentrated, and suddenly, Guryon wouldn't be able to see anything. No light was reaching his position anymore, putting him in a pitch dark zone. The zone was about twice Guryon's size, but there wasn't any way for him to know where the border would be.
While Guryon would try to figure out what happened, he took off as well and flew at middle range of where Guryon was. It would be close enough for him not to be able to hit Seyn with a water ball without some luck, but far enough for him not to be able to attack at melee range. Seyn prepared his light breath, intending to breathe it as soon as Guryon would emerge from the darkness.

GUryon was about to leap away, before everything went pitch black. He squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head wildly, then opened his eyes. That did nothing. "So original!" Guryon shouted mockingly. He jumped into the air and flew straight up. He didn't fly fast. Quite slow actually. But he was out of the darkness.

((Hmm, I haven't quite put how large I can make the zone, but I'd guess it can end up really large.))

Seyn began to glide, trying not to produce too much sound while he was flying - even if the noise of the wind up there was masking most of the sound he could make anyway. With Guryon not being able to see him, he would have a split second of opportunity before the other dragon could figure where he was. Which was perfect as it was the split second that would allow him to strike.
As soon as Guryon slowly emerged from the zone, Seyn breathed his light breath, aiming directly on the other dragon.
