Seyn landed as he finally reached the place for the next round of the tournament. Forgotten Swamps, eh? Sounded Nightwing-ish, stereotypically so. It had been a long time since he last entered the Nightwing territory to see his son. After this match was done he would pay him a visit.
He looked around him casually, but still noting the features of the duel zone. The ground was uneven and soft, moving too fast seemed pretty dangerous. It would easily make him slip. No, better not move too much and use the softness of the ground to absorb the hits. Not to mention the soft ground would also attenuate the strength of any dealt hit. A few dead trees were still standing, not enough to make flight impossible but at least difficult.
Well imagining strategies wouldn't help him that much without knowing his opponent first. So the Golden dragon patiently waited there for his opponent to show up, looking at the place. If this was typical of the Nightwing territory, there was no wonder his mate was so willing to live in the rogue lands...

Nasty. Nasty, nasty, wet, and nasty... Ugh, of all places, why here? The 'Forgotten' Swamps was Alistair's least favorite area of NightWing territory, mainly because of the sloppy water. Whenever the Night Fury would trudge through this hideous terrain, weeds would cling to her glossy black and red scales. After a while, Alistair had just stopped travelling here. She used to travel all over the territory to look for Tenebris ever since his return, but had decided to patrol the borders instead.

Alistair sat on a tiny boulder just large enough or her to balance on. She looked down grumpily at the puddle of water at her feet. She silently cursed. Due to her most powerful ability, fire-catching, if she stood on land she wouldn't be able to activate her power. Stupid. Stupid water.

Life is stupid.

((Mind linking me her character sheet ? I'd like to check her size compared to Seyn's, but normally he's way taller than her))

Seyn resumed walking as he didn't see Alistair arriving. Maybe she did arrive somewhere else in those swamps ? A few minutes later he did spot another dragon landing on a rock. This surely was his opponent. A small black dragon with red stripes. That was a rather original appearance...
"Good afternoon there. I presume you are Alistair ?" he inquired, his voice calm.
