Training for Battle (Open to all)

Beads of sweat trickled down Storm's scales as he batted at the log fiercely. He wanted to become a better fighter, even if it meant training hard. He clawed at the log with determination, before lunging at it and bit hard down on the wood. His teeth sank in and he pressed down hard for a moment, before dropping the wood. It thumped down on the grassy floor, and Storm sat against a tree to rest. He needed a real dragon to fight against, and not some log that didn't fight back. He took a deep breath and wiped the sweat from his brow.

Sparks was enjoying her day, nothing bad has happened. She was wandering around a bit smiling and humming. She was wandering until she saw another dragon resting against a tree. She took a minute and noticed it was lieutenant Storm of her tribe. She calmed down and walked over to him nicely. "hello Lieutenant Storm, or can I just call you Storm, ehhh I don't know. What are you doing way out here?" She smiled and had electricity going through her horns and awaited a response.

Storm stood up from his spot against the tree and smiled warmly at the tracker. "Hello, Sparks. No need for formalities," he assured her. He stood there for a moment, looking at the female's kind face. "Would you like to train with me?" he asked. "If not, we could do something else."

Sparks noticed that Storm was being kind to her and thought for a moment and soon replied "we can train if you want, I don't really care hehe." Sparks giggled a bit after her sentenced and got ready if he said that she and him should train.

Storm got into his training stance too. "You can have the first move," he said.

Marlowe was drawn to the throwing of the wood, and then those voices.. Grain? Was that what he heard... His thoughts were instantly dashed when he heard the next dragon say 'Train'. He grins, this would be something to see. He finally found them, and frowns a tiny bit. He had never met them before, but they both looked like capable dragons. But he did recognize the SkyWing lieutenant, but both of them looked ready to fight. "Hello Storm, I take it you two are training?" Marlowe guessed from the dead wood which was scattered around.

Sparks smiled and looked at the seawing that entered, but didn't want to look at him too much because she was afraid of water. "Yes, we are hehe." Sparks lit her claws up with electricity and attempted to tackle Storm to the ground.

Marlowe chuckles, "I don't have a training partner, would you like to TRY and train against me?" He asks, being polite. He didn't really want to, she was almost a third of his size, and he really didn't want to accidentally hurt her.

Storm got distracted for a moment as he saw the SeaWing approach. He suddenly felt himself get an electric shock, only to be pinned to the ground. He looked up at the SkyWing girl. "Hey!" he growled playfully at her. He wriggled, trying to get out of her grasp.

He smiles reassuringly at her, "I promise that I will not hurt you at all, okay? It's a friendly match, you can try and get through my defenses and find my weaknesses if you like?" He offered, trying to encourage her.

Sparks giggled playfully and Storm eventually wiggled her off, she was on the ground still giggling and she attempted to tackle him again, but this time there was no electricity.

Storm giggled too, trying to scramble to his feet and jump away from the electric SkyWing. Though he only got tackled down to the ground again. He wasn't using the top of his abilities by far. he had taken out the Dragoness Shrouded by Ice before, but he was in a playful mood today, so he just wanted to have fun with his new-found friend.

Sparks continued to laugh and looked Storm in the eyes "Are you having fun? hehe" Sparks continued laugh as she was on top of him on the ground.

Storm laughed as he got pinned to the ground again. "Totally," he answered, before trying to wrestle her off of him.

Sparks giggled a little before flying off of Storm because he wrestled her off. Sparks was a bit tired and didn't go after him again.

Storm noticed that his opponent was tired, so he took this to his advantage, leaping at the small drake playfully.

Sparks started to laugh again and looked at him "your wild, I like that hehe." Sparks continued to laugh and accidently had electricy surround her because she was so happy.

As Storm jumped at Sparks, he only got an electric shock when he came to close. He yelped a little and back away. "Gosh," he exclaimed, "That is fascinating! How do you do that?" He looked curiously into the eyes of Sparks.

"Ummm, ok," she said looking at the dragon.Lets see I know a few weak nerve points like on the back.." she thought continuing to remember more points as she shifted onto her all fours and prepared herself.

Sparks calmed down a bit so she could explain. "Well every time I feel happy emotions, Electricity covers my body, I cant control it but usually, its just my horns that get covered, but a rare chance for my whole body to get covered, that's actually how I got my name, Sparks hehe." She giggled again and electricity covered her horns because she was feeling a happy emotion again and it would be a good example for Storm.

Marlowe stops brushing away the splintered wood, and flicks his tail into the air, then settles it behind him. "I would like to allow the honours of first strike to you, if I may." He offered, knowing that he was somewhat stronger on land then he was under the sea. But he didn't know by how much, and he really didn't want to hurt her.

Storm looked at her with fascination."That is sweet!" he complemented. "Would you like to train again? The electricity doesn't hurt bad so I am okay." He adjusted back into his training stance.

Sparks smiled, "oh of course I'm up for some more training, you can have the first move this time." She got into her training stance and waited for Storm.
