The Unexpected (Private Sleenia & Aakesh)

After spending much time together months after they first met, many events have happened in the tribe. With Lucian disappearing and the starstone, it was never ending for Devi. With the day coming to a close as Devi was walking back to den he spotted Sleenia waiting for him, smiling with a slight tired look. "Hey Sleenia, how have you been?" Laying close by he gazed around looking for Aakesh, "Err... where's Aakesh?" looking slightly confused but he guessed that the little hatchling was adventuring again. Sighing he rested his head against the floor, with his eyes dropping.

Smiling Devi chuckled from Aakesh's comment, nuzzling him he looked towards Sleenia, almost like asking a question about whether it was the right time to tell the hatchling. Sighing slightly, decided that it was the right time. Looking down towards Aakesh, "Aakesh..? Sleenia and I have something to tell you.."pausing for a moment looking towards his mate, "Well.. soon your going to have brothers and sisters" Chuckling he nuzzling Aakesh again, focusing on him mainly to see his reaction hoping that it wasn't bad.

Aakesh looked at Devi, tilting his head. Devi and Sleenia has something to tell him ? The last time it happened it was to tell him they were together. What could possibly follow ? Devi spoke right as he realized what it meant. Sleenia was pregnant ! That was why her belly was swollen ! It was swollen with eggs !
The young dragon sat on his haunches, his mouth opened in surprise. After a few seconds, he stood up and put his two forewings on Sleenia's belly, blinking. He visibly was a bit shocked, and for a moment he didn't say anything.
"But, then are you feeling bad because of that ? I thought it was supposed to be a happy thing !" he exclaimed.

Sleenia observed Aakesh's movements smiling a little, he was indeed becoming stronger and agile day by day, eve if he was wounded. She was surprised when he took his place between them, since the relation was good enough now but hard and delicate too, and she was glad about this little changes.
When he spoke about her weight, her expression was like paralized for a moment, blinking, and then she smiled and chuckled a little bit meetign Devi's look. She was of the same opinion about to tell him and as she understood his intentions, she nodded and her eyes expressed already her approoval. It was a risk, and she was worried about Aakesh reaction, hoping it to be good and not making him feel abandoned with the new little hatchlings coming to life not too far, but again she was surprised, as Devi found the right words to tell him, as the young dragon touched her belly she smiled again and in silence waited for his reaction, feeling a great emotion she kept for herself to don't ruin the moment.
At his question her look narrowed around for a moment before to meet his eyes
"yes it is a good thing..." she tried to explain while facing her thoughts and thiking about what to say
"I think that probably it's just me feeling bad.." she used her wing to rub one of his own
"maybe it's something I've eat or mybe I have the flu..don't worry too much, you need to recover too, and probably to be ready about having brothers and sisters around" concluded in a jocular way, imagining the scene.
She didn't want to hide anything to him or Devi, she loves them and admire too with respect, but at the same time she didn't want to worry them now, they were stressed enough too and she was very tired...
Although, the dragoness silenced a moment, sighing and frowing a bit distralty, asking herself what could be the cause of her pain, now that the cures make it possible to her to think clearly

Aakesh tilted his head as he listened to Sleenia's answer. For some reason he felt like she wasn't entirely saying the truth. Especially since he saw her slightly frowning after that. Was she going to do like usual and hide what was bothering her just not to worry them ? He was pretty sure it would have the opposite effect. Devi was already worrying, hiding the reason wouldn't help at all.
But she seemed to be better anyway. He just let out a small puff at her remark about him needing to recover as well.
"Hmf. Don't worry about me, by tomorrow I'll be fine. But is it really that close ?" he asked, once again looking at Sleenia's belly.

Smiling for a moment from his reaction he replied, "Yeah she will be fine, and I'm not sure myself I would guess so" yawning for a moment he suddenly felt tiredness again, after all the rushing around his body couldn't handle it anymore. Sighing as he frowned from the effects, "Sorry.. but we should get some rest... other wise I might collapse snoring my head off" chuckling he rested his head onto his paws, his eyes forcing to be closed. Within a minute he had fallen asleep, as his breathing started to snore.

Sleenia couldn't hold a soft laugh and smiled as Devi started to snore, and she looked back to Aakesh, with her golden eyes moving from her belly to him, she nodded*
"I can't say that for sure but I think it's close...yes.."
she pondered for a moment, noticing his look
"don't worry too much"
she whispered,
she didn't said the entirely truth but didn't hide either, just thought it wasn't a good moment to talk about a complex argument she didn't know where to start too, and probably that was all they needed to know, maybe...the next day would be an occasion to talk to them seriously about that...she though..
"I hope you are alright, and i'm sure you will recover quickly...you are strong..."
she gave him a tired smile, then she moved her head a bit closer
"how do you feel about that?"
she asked, with caution, knowing it was important and he notice was very new to him, but giving him trust too and talking like to an adult, He was an important member of the family to her, very important...

Aakesh easily noticed that Sleenia's smile was a tired one. It was rare to see the dragoness like this, and despite her denying it there was no doubt whatever illness she had, it was a pretty severe one. Not necessarily worrying, but still severe.
"No worries about me. I already told it, it'll be healed even before Devi stops snoring." he said, letting out a slightly annoyed puff as he didn't like when Devi snored. Too much noise to sleep correctly...
He was a bit taken aback when Sleenia asked him how he was feeling about all that. It was one of the first times he was directly asked such a question.
"I... I don't really know. I kinda expected it would happen, but not so soon. Some time ago, I only had Devi, and now, a whole family... like before." he replied, lowering his eyes and only muttering the last words.
