If you open your heart [Private with Aquamarine]

Hyruu glanced inside another room, trying to get something out of the mess his thoughts currently were. The evening sure didn't go as he could have planned. The grey dragon still couldn't believe he got the courage to ask Aquamarine out. Even though it ended up quite awkward... like usual. And now he didn't dare to do anything else. What was he supposed to do ? Well, first mates should at least kiss, right ? But there was no way he gathered enough confidence to do something like that ! He already blushed after giving her a single nuzzle !
The next room he glanced in was the good one. The room was empty and just big enough for the two of them. They shouldn't be interrupted there. All at his thinking, the young dragon didn't really look around at the room. The room itself was more a balcony, which was giving a nice view at the jungle outside. The sun, which was about to start setting, was lighting the balcony with some impressive colors.
"Alright this one should do it." he called Aquamarine, going through the door.

Aquamarine spread her wings, similar to the shape of a bat's, only more reptile-like. She nodded at him when he had spoke, about living in the territory. Truthfully, she would like to be in the water all the time. It was safe and amazing, feeling the cold water lapping and brushing against your scales after a long trip to the land. She wished she could be there all the time. But unfortunately, she was a social dragoness. She spoke to others constantly, even if they weren't in her tribe. So that was out of the question.

"Ah am, Haruu. But there is an ocean here, rahght?" She questioned with a slightly inquiring and doubting expression.

Hyruu nodded back at Aquamarine, smiling at her.
"Of course there is. That's were we met, after all. I have a beach facing the ocean and there's a river and a lake closer from my cave. You won't lack water, don't worry about that." he replied.
Speaking of which, they now were entering the grey dragon's territory. The entrance to his cave could be seen, near the cliff making one of the territory's borders. Almost right under the cliff was the lake he was mentioning, with the river running from it toward the horizon, at which the glint of the ocean could be seen. The territory definitively was ideal for a pair like them. Which, now that he was thinking about it, was another nice coincidence.
Hyruu steered toward the entrance of his cave and landed with ease like usual. He then turned back, waiting for Aquamarine to land as well.
"And there we are." he said.
He was about to add something else, but suddenly realized he didn't know what he should do next. He just stood silent, hoping his new mate would make something.

Aquamarine flew in silence, her eyes trying to follow Hyruu's gaze. His thoughts didn't occur to her, but she was mesmerized by the beauty of the territory. She alighted down, flicking her eyes with a yawn.

"Haruu, no wonder yer so handsome. The terratory matches ya, this entire place is gorgeous." She stated, smirking at him and popping her neck the smallest bit, as it begun to ache.

Hyruu blinked at Aquamarine's comment, visibly surprised by the compliment. He started to blush a bit, but in the night it now was difficult to notice. The young dragon got a smile, looking at her.
"Erm well, thanks... I could say it matches you as well." he returned the compliment.
The grey dragon noticed his mate popped her neck. Was her neck painful ? Well it could be. It had been a long day and it was late now.
"Let us get some sleep then. After you, Aquamarine." he said, gesturing toward the entrance of his cave.
Aquamarine already knew the layout of the cave, since she already saw it previously. The soft grass was still covering the ground as usual, acting like a mattress for the dragons. Hyruu had let the hole at the top opened, letting a small breeze flow through the cave, keeping it aerated. It maybe was rustic and not really elaborated like some other dragon caves, but it was nonetheless comfortable. Which was mostly what Hyruu cared about.

Aquamarine smiled back and proceeded to yawn, walking over to the grass and rolling onto her back. It was quite the odd way to sleep for a dragon, but it was still comfortable. Her eyes were closed, though she opened them up and stared at Hyruu with a grin from her upside down position.
