Today a feast and celebration was being prepared, with both himself and Sleenia having an announcement they thought it would be best to tell every one at once, With Lucian being busy recently Devi never really had a chance to speak with him alone. So invitations where sent out across the tribe and even to other tribes across Pyyria. No doubt it would be a large event with an abundance of food and time of celebration. It was coming close to late afternoon, Devi being with Sleenia in the inner chambers. Pacing around he felt nervous, knowing that he would have to speak to the tribe and possibly outsiders from other tribes. Still he knew it was for the best, after all it was a big deal to him.

Spotting for a moment he turned towards Sleenia, "Are you alright?" looking slightly concerned he thought to himself, 'god dammit where on Pyyria is Lucian...' Though his brief pause wasn't to last, as he started to pace again, trying to calm his nerves. He did feel better with Sleenia though.

Aquamarine sat beside Hyruu, her light blue gaze scanning the area in an attempt to find the males of the species. When she turned back to him for the third time, he was drinking a light red, nearly pink, liquid. She raised an eyeridge. She knew for a fact that this was most likely some sort of wine. After all, all of those at the banquet were adult dragons. For the most part. She turned to the table and took a plate, beginning to take a stack of meat. Since no one else was eating, why shouldn't she? She of course, obviously, garnished it with a salad. Whipping back around, she began to eat. Aquamarine had manners, so she did not wolf right into it. Though, she was relatively hungry, and not scarfing it right down in one or two gulps was difficult. She was surrounded by multiple high-ranked dragons, and one of the only dragons that had ever chosen to stick with her for a long period of time. She also took a golden-swirled goblet of water. She had, of course, sniffed it and tasted some of it to ensure that it was not similar to that of the substance Hyruu was drinking. She had to stay completely aware and awake to be able to make sure that she had spoken to the certain male targets she wanted to flirt with.

"Mmm, nace feayst. Hyruu, dear, how ya enjoyin' yer drin'?" Aquamarine asked, making sure to swallow and clean her maw before she spoke. She didn't want to create a bad first impression in front of them. The dark blue dragoness watched her tail and her wings to make sure she did not knock over glasses and such.

Upon hearing Aakesh's response, he felt pain in his heart feeling ashamed for his feelings for them. Frowning he averted his gaze "Aakesh I'm sorry... Please don't go...." but it was to late, as the little hatchling stormed off, almost creating a scene in the other room. Sighing his feelings where hurt, as his mind started to stray with a quick though of 'Did I make a mistake...' No he couldn't think like that, turning towards Sleenia, he could see it in her eyes as he felt equal pain, listening to her words he saw reason, "Yeah.... maybe your right... I just don't want him to be alone..." Smiling slightly as she pushed her muzzle against his own, helping him feel better he began to wonder if he had the courage to speak now after this shock.

Slowly entering the room, he knew it was time. Everyone had arrived from the tribe at least, following Sleenia along he stood on slightly higher platform, letting out a sigh from the nerves he watched as the crowd continued to talk and eat, "Can I have everyone's attention please" turning his gaze back to Sleenia, just seeing her close by gained him courage. Soon enough the room quietened allowing him to speak, "Thank you for coming, Some of you maybe wondering why where having such a feast, then again some of you might have guessed. This feast is to celebrate my joining... with Sleenia. We would like everyone to have a celebrate, take your fills you've earned it all of you" As he finished his speech he crept over to Sleenia, as he nuzzled his snout against hers. Smiling he shouted "Lets all have a night to remember!"

Hyruu gulped the last sip of his bowl and looked again at Aquamarine. The dragoness was again peering at some other dragons in the room, most likely the other males. The bitter feeling he had been feeling at that sight came back, still leaving him perplex at what feeling it could really be. Trying to get rid of it, the grey dragon filled his plate again with another grilled meat, as well as a few peaches that he found in another plate filled with delicious looking fruits. He always had a weakness for those fruits.
The young dragon also filled his bowl again with the fermented raspberry juice. It really was good, but he would have to be cautious with that. He didn't want to end drunk in this kind of celebration after all... Even though he still had quite a margin. After all he only drank a bowl of it yet.
Having gotten all what he needed, the grey dragon went back to Aquamarine and sat near her.
"Oh, it's great. I never had fermented fruit juice before..." he replied.

He was about to add something when Devi came back in the room with Sleenia and requested their attention. Hyruu listened to the announcement, smiling as Devi mentioned the reason of the event. So Sleenia and him were going to be mates... Judging by how he nuzzled her as soon as he revealed his joining with her, it must have been hard for him to keep it secret before.
"So it was about that..." he commented almost for himself.
The grey dragon blinked as last night's dream came back to his mind, leaving him slightly confused. Why did that dream kept on flashing through his mind like that ? And why now ? He gave Aquamarine a look, his confusion showing on his face. Really there was something wrong with him today.

Aquamarine rolled her eyes after Devi had nuzzled a dragoness. Sleenia, though she did not know her name. She scooted back close to Hyruu, bored. She hadn't yet noticed Lucian, luckily for Hyruu. She continued to eat and look at the grey dragon beside her. She shuffled her wings and folded them tightly, setting the plate on the table before her. She held the goblet up to her maw, taking a sip and staring at Hyruu intently. At the moment, he was the only interesting male dragon around the area. She was relatively parched, so she downed her cup quickly before she was about to slam it on the table - when she remembered manners. She set it down on the table quietly and shuffled into a sitting position, yet again, attempting to get comfortable on the stone tiled ground.

"Tha's goo', darlin'. An' wha' was abou' wha'?" She said, speaking up finally. She was still somewhat hungry, though she would wait until Hyruu had explained. Aquamarine sniffed at the scent of the bitter substance he was drinking, shaking her head the smallest bit to indicate she did not appreciate it. Not that she had an issue with dragons drinking certain things, though she did have an issue with the hard scent and the terrible taste.

Hyruu took a sip of his fermented raspberry juice, glancing again at Aquamarine. He caught her staring at him quite intensely, and this made him totally forget the bitter feeling he had been having before. At least she wasn't ignoring him anymore, she was even giving him quite a lot of attention...
As she interrogated him, it took him a few seconds to remember the words she was referring at. With that wave of confusion he got when his dream flashed again in his mind, he almost had forgotten about that simple comment.
"Well I'm meaning the reason behind this feast. Look at them, don't they look great together ?" he replied, glancing at the leader and his new mate.
After his question, Hyruu looked back at the dragoness, waiting for her answer. However, for once his look drifted a bit and he found himself starring at Aquamarine. He never dared looking at her like that before, since he always was feeling too awkward when looking at her. The Seawing was quite a beautiful dragoness, from her build to the beautiful aquamarine color of her scales. Her amber eyes were nicely contrasting with her scales.
Hyruu suddenly realized what he was doing and quickly looked somewhere else, away from the dragoness. Did he just detail her ? What was he imagining ? He began to blush, even though at the moment only his cheeks turned red. This was the first time he was daring to do something like that. Trying to make it like nothing happened, he took a larger sip of his juice, emptying a good part of his bowl in a single mouthful.

"I'm okay Sleenia, and thank you as well." The old dragon replied back before heading off to find a place to sit at the feast. He sampled much of varieties of food and drank a few beverages, making sure to avoid getting drunk from certain ones. He wasn't really that much of a drinker especially since....he never really had the time to drink anything except for water and maybe herbal tea, that was only because it helped with his meditation.

Then Devi called for everyones attention and the announcement came. Darmith then saw the gesture between both Devi and Sleenia, causing a old pain to come back again in his heart. Again...not again, the memory was trying to come back and it hurt, but he kept it hidden, his face blank of no emotion. The food in his belly felt became ash and the drinks he had tasted bland now. He wanted to leave, and it tore at him to do so until he finally relented. The old dragon got up, moving about carefully and thought of a excuse in case he was asked, and left the room until he reached a balcony away from the feast, far enough that it was a slightly muffled noise.
He stared out at the dark expanse that was the Lightwing's home, seeing much from the height even though his eyesight wasn't as good as it once was. Something wet fell from his muzzle and realized he was crying, he was actually crying for the second time of his life ever since that dark day from before. Darmith wiped the tears away quickly, as if he didn't want any others to see a old dragon crying and sniffed to himself.

//ouch, why is that topic hurting everyone XD i thought they could be happy for that xDDD *sigh* :'( anything i can do? because you all completed the scene before sleenia can stop them xD what' happening! darn it! D: (I think sleenia can hide and go out of the palace to look for Aakesh, anyway she can notice that, about dermith etc, she observe a lot

Aquamarine glanced at the two, still upset at Devi for having a mate already. She looked back at Hyruu, who was sipping deeply of his drink and blushing for whatever reason. "Shaure, theya do."

Hyruu kept looking away from the dragoness, his cheeks staying red from the awkwardness of his situation. Hopefully Aquamarine hadn't noticed he had been peering at her. Who knew what would have happened if she noticed it ? The grey dragon didn't want to know it. Anyway, what was wrong with him ? He had been detailing the dragoness quite intensely ! That just wasn't normal, wasn't it ? Well actually, thinking about it... It had been a moment he had been with Aquamarine, but this was the first time he showed such an interest for her. Could it be simply because he was a boy and she was a girl ? Those kind of things were bound to happen, weren't they ? Maybe not, he didn't show such an interest with other dragonesses like Vale or Sleenia... Ugh all this was so complicated !
Trying to look casual, Hyruu took another sip of his drink, finishing his second bowl. He was about to get to get another bowl of that fermented raspberry juice when he realized his movements felt a bit weird. He couldn't really defined how exactly it was weird, but he guessed what was going on. Maybe he should stop drinking fermented juice for now... He wasn't drunk, at least he didn't think so, but he definitively would if he continued like that. The grey dragon filled his bowl with water that time and sipped at it, still lost in his thoughts.

Aquamarine looked at Hyruu, still somewhat curious as he glanced away from her while blushing. She was now somewhat disappointed. Her face shows this. It wasn't a depressed face - it was more of a saddened face that one would put on when someone wasn't paying enough attention to them. She was suddenly tempted to display the hatchling like urge to paw at him. Rather than doing this, she took her tail and entwined it his, her attention now completely unbroken by anything other than staring at just Hyruu. Though she usually tended to flirt with others, she felt it was strange that she wasn't this time. She also had turned to strange behavior - undivided attention to one individual.

"Haruu? Darlin'?"

Hyruu was still lost in his thoughts when he felt something touching his tail. He turned his head to see what it was and realized Aquamarine had entwined her tail with his. The grey dragon blushed even more, the red on his cheeks actually being a red instead of a normal pinkish color. That mark of attention of hers was the droplet that almost made the jar spill. It was only adding to his confusion about what had just happened.
Actually thinking about it it was the first time the dragoness was openly flirting with him during this feast. Maybe there was something to guess from that fact ? It was right that so far she had been more focused on looking for other males, so why the sudden change of target ? Not that he was complaining though. He still remembered that bitter feeling he had when she almost ignored him to watch Devi. It was only this particular timing with his confusion that made the situation awkward for him.
Hyruu turned his head toward Aquamarine as she drew his attention. For a second he looked at her straight in the eyes. He vaguely had the feeling that the fermented juice was for something in the fact he actually could look at her in the eyes, even for a short time. He never dared being that direct before... And actually he was almost regretting it. Her amber eyes were so beautiful. Wait what was he thinking again ? He couldn't just stare at her in the eyes like that ! The grey dragon blinked before answering to Aquamarine's question.
"Erm, yeah what ?" he asked back, tilting his head.

Sleenia walked in the room following Devi, standing by his side, as he announched that they were mates, the emotions of the others dragons almost overwhelmed her, her senses to catch the others and empathy were strong, and she knows how to handle it, but there were so many dragons, and most important, she was deeply involved in this situation full of emotions, she smiled and stroked softly against Devi, to do not warn anyone, she noticed hyruu was staring at them, but as he got distracted too and but as the general attention on them was decreasing, she walked foward in the middle of the room, ignoring the food and the beverages, looking at the point where Aakesh flew away with determination, and gazed ad Devi with concern, around her a sort of barrier were growing, making the air tremble and the colours reflects from it and on it, she did it almost not realizing that, but it helped her to not be noticed, she put some effort on it so you could not completely realize that they were almost running in the room, but just see a weird blurr if you were not focusing on them.

"Devi, we must go both to talk with Aakesh or do you want to do it alone?" she asked "maybe i am the one who should talk to him alone...but.." she stopped as she noticed Darmith flee away as well, she was shoked by this reaction, her mouth half-opened and her body freezed
"w-what? why?" she mumbled in confusion, hoping that she was not the cause of that pain and asking herself if she did something wrong, she felt a part of his anguish, and sleenia knew that the old dragons was keeping a secreted inside him, and thinking about how they met the first time and how she helped him healing his wounds, she could feel something, but for now she could just guess what was still hurting him so much
shooking her head and turning to Devi with a worried look "Darmith...he's gone..Devi, did you see that?" she was thinking about to follow him and talk, but she knew it was very important to find Aakesh because this news was too much for him "what should we do?" she spoke, asking to herself too, and looking again foward "first your son Devi...I think it's the better way..I can find Darmith later... and hopefully help him"

Sighing from relief that his little speech finished, he turned his gaze back to Sleenia nuzzling against her snout. Looking curiously as she walked towards the exit, he realized what was the matter. Frowning slightly he nodded "Yeah... Aakesh..." gazing deeply into her eyes he continued, "We can go together, He shouldn't be alone." placing his paw against her own, creating a gentle touch between them. Soon the moment was broken as he spotted Darmith leaving the room, frowning slightly the elder didn't seem to happy.

Listening to her words again he replied softly, "Yeah lets go see if Aakesh is alright, hopefully he hasn't gone to far" again nuzzling his snout against her neck he licked her scales slightly, turning his gaze back towards the crowd. They seemed to be enjoying themselves, he felt that they would be alright to slip out to find Aakesh.

Aquamarine's eyeridges knitted together when he suddenly came to. He was zoning out. She glanced around the area quickly, seeing only one other around: Sleenia. She shrugged. She was mated after all, Hyruu wouldn't go for her.. Besides, he was overly shy anyway. "Haruu, Ah've been thinkin'... woul' yer trab have any issue with me.. Ah don' know.. livin' with ye?"

Dahva, a LightWing hatchling, ran into the area. She was extremely bored, having not spoken to anyone for days. She groaned in boredom as she walked up to Sleenia, pawing at her. "Missss? I'm boreeedddd."

Hyruu stood speechless for a few seconds after Aquamarine's question, obviously surprised. That was so direct he wasn't expecting this kind of question at all. For a few more seconds, his mouth was opened but no words would come for it. Did he really hear what he heard ? Did Aquamarine really mean... As he realized what the dragoness just asked, his eyes widened.
"Living... with me ? But... erm, wait, that's... I mean, we... Together ? I... erm..." the young dragon stuttered, now totally unable to handle his thoughts correctly. His scales quickly turned red on his entire body. With his initial confusion, this question just had been the drop that made the jar spill. All he could do was to stand there, blinking and unable to come up with any sentence to say.
After a dozen of seconds, Hyruu seemed to start recovering from his confusion. He took a deep breath, trying to get his thoughts back to a coherent state.
"That was... direct. Are you saying you want to... live with me ? Be my mate ?" he managed to ask, still blinking.

Shine listened to the entire scene calmly. She had grown out of her habit of going to the center of conversation to talk. She was acting similar to the way she had when Korramyr had left, but for an entirely different reason. Every time she started a conversation and introduced herself-even if she left out the fact that she was a Goddess-she ended up being worshiped in some way. A smile split her face at the announcement, and her own emotional aura brightened. She then looked over curiously as one young hatchling left, followed by an elder. Judging by the auras they were emitting, neither was particularly happy. She looked over as the new couple started talking, and she caught pieces. She stood, starting towards them. Korry padded after her happily, mewling as she finally moved. She stopped near Sleenia and Devi. "I'm sorry for eavesdropping," She started, "But I could't help but overhear. Could I help in some way?" She offered, looking away awkwardly. "Emotions are sort of my specialty."

Vale huffed, looking around, then caught sight of the food. She smiled at the slightly bitter smelling juice. She knew what it was. She headed right for the raspberry, which she couldn't hep but notice that the trainee she recognized as the one who had come towards her with countless questions was also drinking it. She shrugged, carefully working her body around him so she didn't hurt anyone with her size. She took a large bowl of the juice. She could handle it well, her size making her less vulnerable to drunkenness, in addition to her attitude, which wouldn't change greatly, even should she get that far. She took a sip, enjoying the taste.

Aquamarine giggled and nodded, her head tilted. "'A course, silly."
She said. She was blushing herself now, however, this was a rather awkward question. She was rather attached to Hyruu, and she assumed he was to her as well. However, she didn't know. What was she supposed to do?

Hyruu was definitively going from surprise to surprise this evening. All this was almost too much for him, and he didn't exactly know what to think himself. The dragoness seemed to take the topic lightly, but Hyruu could notice her blushing. It was the first time she was showing any sign of nervousitiy or awkwardness. Could it be she also was slightly confused herself ?
The still red dragon took a deep breath, trying to gather some self-confidence.
"Erm, well... I don't really know what to say... You know, it's an important decision, and I didn't think at all before... well now." he replied, trying to gain some time to actually think about what else he could answer. What should he do ? On the one hand, he couldn't give her an hasty answer. On the other hand, he couldn't keep her waiting like this...
A part of him wanted to screw all those concerns away. After all what was he exactly waiting for ? Aquamarine was nice, and on top of that she was beautiful. Didn't he just caught himself staring at her ? And he was enjoying being with her, he would lie to himself if he thought the opposite. So what was he waiting for ?
Taking another deep breath, Hyruu took a decision. Sometimes one had to just plunge in the unknown. After all if he didn't do anything, nothing would move from his current situation. Concentrating, he managed to get his body back to its usual grey. Then, he raised one of his paws and put it on one of Aquamarine's paw, tenderly covering it.
"But if I had to take a decision right now... I'd want to be your mate. I would want to live with you and make you happy. I would want to be at your side for the best or the worse. I would want to be the father of our children. That is, if you want to." he declared with a newfound courage.

The fact that his father was gonna mate with a dragon like Sleenia made him want to fly away, go to another tribe. He wanted it to be just him and his father and Sleenia ruined all of it. All of it. Why did she have to come back?! Why? WHY? WHY? The thoughts brutally hammered in his head as a he flew farther and farther till he reached his secret cave. There, inside the deep stone cave was a crevice in the ceiling that he could easily slip into. Gliding in he made himself comfortable till all you can see was his golden cat eyes. Shutting his eyes he felt energy leave him as he forced his power to create thick fog to surround him, making sure no one could see him. He had never told anyone of this cave, not even his father and made sure no one ever followed him by mixing his scent and creating thick fog before he left. Sighing he laid there, hating everything about his life. His father and Sleenia were gonna have hatchlings and he was gonna be forgotten about so might as well start now.

Aquamarine was somewhat shocked. Hyruu had just gone on a sort of rant. Of how he felt about her, about family. She stared at him and made a sort of confused noise. She then decided that she'd agree. Why not? She'd been chasing him for awhile now... and obviously, she couldn't find anyone else. "Thay's... that's fahn with me, darlin'... Hat..hatchlin's? Ah... okah." She said. It appeared as though Hyruu had taken how she acts, and she had taken his shyness.

Hyruu slightly blushed as Aquamarine accepted. He was living an almost unreal moment. So now this was official, Aquamarine had become his... mate ? He still couldn't believe it. And actually... he didn't know at all what to do now.
"Erm, well, of course we'll have all the time we want to think about that topic, right ? I mean, it just came like that..." he awkwardly replied.
Hyruu didn't know at all where that small burst of courage came, but what was sure was that now it was gone. He simply kept his paw over hers, not daring to move by an inch.

Almost running in the hall, Sleenia was surprised and stopped just in time before to hit the young dragon that came in front of her, tilting her head, she stared at her for a moment thinking
"oh no, what can I do? we have to go, i'm not concentrated enogh because my barrier is barely useful...*sigh" giving at Devi a quick look before to look at the little one again, she lowered her head and with a smile and her unique kind look she spoke "I'm sorry little one, we really have some important stuff to do now, maybe we will meet again later, okay?" she tried to convince her and looking around she spotted some young dragons, like Hyruu "humm, maybe you can go and play with the other dragons that have more or less old as you are" she knew hyruu was older, but this was everything she could do for now, she stepped foward but another voice interrupted her, she sensed the aura and knew who it was before to turn and look at her "Shin!" she said with surprise and relief, even if she was in a hurry, after listening to his propose she looked at Devi and sighed "I appreciate your help Shining...but I have the feeling that I have to try to fix this personal thing alone, with Devi, before to involve anyone else, and there would be too many dragons, I'm worried and don't want...Aakesh to flee away, of Dermith... "she gestured with her head, almost bowing, to thank her "But now i kow that If I will need your help you'll be there for me" she truly smiled and nodded before to finally run, her claws hitting the floor and doing a loud noise, and when she almost reached the end spread her white large wings, jumping in the air, going nosedive for a second and then flapping to go faster foward where Aakesh as disappeared, her mind thinking at both Dermith and Aakesh, she looked in front on her with determination and concern, peering behind her to see if Devi was with her
Almost suddenly she realized that the shent of aakesh was gone, or stirred with other shents, she gazed at her new mate flapping her wings to stay in that point,"something is wrong!"she roared feeling anxiety because they didn't know what could have happened, and if he was safe
Gesturing with her head to invite him to land on the top of a tree with her "I need to focus to find him..the scent is gone, or its barely perceptible.." her voice expressed how that was important to her to find him, she tried to calm down taking deep breaths, and she recomposed herself, opening the eyes after that quick "meditation" and looked to the sky "he must be far than we can imagine, it's not around here for sure.." she thought that also because of his reaction, she opened her wings again and with a strong flap she was gaining speed "we need to go far from the palace" she roared back and then focused
"here we go" she thought, her energy, hided by her simplicity, after few minutes exploded from her, invading the zone, she could feel the energy of the nature and the other animals, using her mind to have controll on her emotions, she focused to find Aakesh's aura, and after a bit she percieved something and the way she looked at Devi was a clear sign that she might have found him in that place, or around it

Not long after speaking to Sleenia, Shine approached them noticing as she stopped by their side, he turned and nodded in respect. Hearing her words made him smile but after hearing Sleenia's response he agreed, it would be best if they talked to him together. "Thanks for the offer Shine... but I agree with Sleenia, in a way its my fault for not talking to him about it sooner." frowning slightly he did feel a bit guilty about it all, if only he talked to Aakesh about himself maybe finding a mate. Though it was quite sudden as it wasn't planned, turning back towards Sleenia and replied "Sure... we shouldn't be to long I hope..."

Watching as his mate flew into the darkening sky, following her closely. Noticing her worried look as he tried to find his scent. Tilting his head slightly he looked curiously, "Whats the matter?" soon his question was answered frowning he searched the area as he landed next to her on the tree top. Sighing he felt worried for Aakesh as it was getting dark, nodding to her response he continued to follow her as they search the nearby jungle. Soon enough Sleenia stopped and revealed that Aakesh was nearby, gasping slightly he stopped by her side, "Really?! where?" continuing to gaze around he failed to spot anything. Deciding to call out, so that he could make the first move "Aakesh? you around here? Its alright come talk to me and Sleenia... Your not going to be abandoned... Please come out..." he hoped that his words where heard and that the young hatchling was alright.

The SeaWing dragoness felt Hyruu's paw atop of hers, not moving either. Not that she was too terrified to move, but she was comfortable and didn't want him to move. She blushed slightly and shuffled her wings, tilting her head at Hyruu and smiling slightly.

"Ya cahn thin' abou' it all ya wan', Haruu. But Ah've agreed. Alraght?" Aquamarine said, trying to regain her usual calm and casual manner.
