It was a quiet morning. A bird sung in the distance, and the tide could be heard from the cave, a short distance away. Delphin woke up, just as the sun kissed the sky. His family snoozed around him, and without waking them he trotted out of the cave. Delph took to the sky. He soared across the sandy beach near his home, and out into the open sea. Gulls and Pelicans flocked around him as they flew. "Fly! Fly! Fly!" they cried in their repetitive voices. Ugh, shut up. he groaned, and sped up.

Delph was off to the Deep Sea Palace. Excitement bubbled up in his stomach as he flew along, his mother would be training him to become a tracker. Nearly there. Quickly, he dove down into the salty waters, and swam slowly toward the gates of the palace. "Hello?" he called out, and waited to be allowed inside.

Oceana woke up and noticed that her son, Delphin, was gone. Turning around, she saw everyone was still there, including her mate, Arkhor. Carefully taking Ark's talon off of her she left the den to go search. Swimming over to the Deep Sea Palace, she finally saw a small, blue trainee awaiting to be let in. "Delphin!" she called out, "What are you doing?"

Shine was at the palace gates at that particular moment, for no reason other than taking a walk through the palace. She looked down at the call, Corry peaking through the railing, and then over to the inside of the palace, where another call had come from. She smiled, running forward and launching herself at the lever, opening the gates. She closed them when the hatchling came inside, and then raced down to meet him and Oceana. "What's going on?" she asked curiously.

Delph looked utterly perplexed. "I'm going to become a tracker, Mum, I already told you this. You said you'd train me, so. Here I am! Oh, Good-Morning, Shine." he says, swam into the palace, beckoning to Oceana. "I'm too excited, I just couldn't wait one bit." he sighed to Ocean, and floated just inside the gates, waiting.
