Wondering Lost Thoughts (Open)

The day began like every other before that, the sun peeking overseas on the horizon while the waves crashed against him burying him somewhat in sand. he lifted his heavy body and strapped the blade to the end of his tail. And then again began to wonder across the fine line of land and water. he decided that maybe going a different route would have a nice change, maybe the kind he was looking for. He knew he came from somewhere and the heavy blade he bears proves it. he lifted his tail and then sped up his pace."someone will recognize me, I hope." he stopped and stared into the sun for a quick moment."it's only morning, there is plenty of time." he then slowly picked up into a run and dashed across the sandy terrain.

Elara, as much as she enjoyed spending time with her siblings, found herself venturing alone more and more. Finally being able to use her dragon form opened up the young hybrid's world a lot. She could go on family hunting trips, scare away anything that would normally prey on a human, meet other dragons, and most importantly, she could fly!

Today, the Tiny Fury was flying along the southern coast of the main continent. Her mother had said this was the best place to get spaz fish. The delicious citrus-y fish was a favorite of the Twilight-Avedon clan. It was a little early for lunch though, and besides, there was an actual dragon on the beach!

Elara flew down so she was flying beside the running dragon. "Hi! I'm Elara! Who are you? Why are you running instead of flying?"

It was nearly noon and the salty air in his face rushed by with ease, along with each talon, and web in between his fingers digging into the cold wet sand for every step he could take. he loved it... this freedom, but he had to look for where he belonged, so for now he pressed onward.
   
   A shadow over head got his attention, he looked to the left to see a black dragon with white laced wings unlike any other dragon he has ever seen, it was nearly mesmerizing to watch her fly. Now watching her use her own wings, he guess that he should feel embarrassed he could not use his. Though not that he really can't, their was just too much pain tied to his wings for him to use them.  The black dragon at that moment began to speak, he should have been paying more attention, for he hardly heard what she said over his loud footsteps and the wind in his face. A large rock from underneath him caught one of his hands, he then tripped and ate a mouthful of sand before he could even think to react, he slowly picked himself up to realize his talon was severely bleeding, and was injured enough to prevent him from using it. he then sat facing the horizon, wondering if that black dragon would pass on by... forgetting he ever existed.
