Restoration Of The Starstone [EVENT] [LW OPEN]

// As you can imagine this topic is about the return of the starstone, I'm hoping to including the following in this topic:

- Monster responsible for taking the stone battle
- Finding the traitor (which I need someone to volunteer to rp as)
- Injuries can occur, Lore for the Lightwings

As the sun began to set behind the palace, its orange light dancing against its stone flanks, with the jungle canopy below. Only a few moments ago Devi had spoken to his council about the possibility of retrieving their previous stone. Which the tribe had felt the loss of its missing relic, especially when they found out that one of their own took the stone. Sleenia had previously warned of a beast which might be behind that attack, looking for revenge against the tribe. A beast so foul that its purple mass could corrupt anyone who fell victim to its touch, leading to being controlled.

Sadly the previous encounter resulted in its escape, luckily those who fell under its spell broke away as it fled. Today was the day as the sun was rising their first step towards returning what was once their relic. Devi leading at much dismay from Sleenia and Aakesh. A small band of Lightwings, those of which the king trusted where along side him, layered in armor of gold shining in the young sun. Their destination was a trace which their scouts had found of the beast. Knowing that it was most likely a trap yet he felt that it was his duty to return the once proud jewel for the tribe. Worries still plagued his mind about the creature, from what Sleenia had told him the idea of corruption scared him. Still they continued flying towards the lair with his eyes set on the stone.

Having escaped from the dragons he chuckled at the thought of slowly picking them away, already his corruption as started to take hold. Waiting deep within the forest the creature prepared another ambush, these blasted Lightwings.. he wanted to rip them apart ever since the last battle which took many years ago. He had forgotten having a dragon form, missed it in fact, maybe.. with all the chaos he could take that majestic again. Using his paws to grasp hold of the starstone around his neck which was covered in the bear's fur, With this.. I will destroy these idiotic dragons .

Nodding slightly concerned about the location of the creature, closing his eyes for a moment he needed to think of a way to capture this creature fast. He couldn't have everyone split up as the monster would thrive and corrupt everyone. Sighing he replied towards Aurelian "Alright but take it easy, everyone else just stay put for a moment" Looking up towards the sky he finally gained an idea which seemed fairly save for splitting up. "Okay guys.. I want everyone to split into groups of three, then scan the area in the air. The creature can't be far so I want one dragon in each group firing his light blast towards a random patch of the forest. Where aiming to flush the creature out not to destroy the forest so remember that." continuing after a brief pause "Now.. if you do see the creature only engage as a group don't go by yourself! This is for your own safety and the groups." Jumping into the air with a swish of his tail he waited for everyone to group up, pointing different directions towards the dragons. He hoped for a quick end to this rather annoying hunt.

Vale looked back over her shoulder and wings as her leader began dishing out orders for everyone. She stepped forward back towards the others, away from the edge of the clearing. After a moment, she sat down again, curling her spiked tail around her feet, before looking around. She didn't particularly care or mind who she ended up in a group with. The dragoness was sharp-tongued, and much preferred the company of her fire salamanders than that of other dragons. As a result, she didn't know anyone particularly well. She spent most of her life in the forges, and very rarely came up. Only to sun when her breath grew weak. Aside from that, she remained down with the flames.
But, she had decided to join to the group, and so far she wasn't regretting it.
Depending on the group she ended up with, it would remain to see if that would change.
