Bassasail traveled deep in the swamps, unsure where he would find his enemy. He tried making his heavy steps more silent, for all he knew, the opponent could be hidden, and the blue dragon was too big to even hide in this swamp. Granted, as he walked about, Bassasail kept his senses open, from his hearing to scent and to sight, he was being careful not to fall into any traps...

Bump, one day passed))

Acer didn't like the moistness of the swamp at all - he felt strange padding around through the marshes. He was careful as to not make any sound, for he had the advantage of surprise. Only once had he found a brief glimpse or flash of the blue dragon's scales, but without his armour, save a neck and chest guard, he didn't worry about being given away, and tried to use the fog of the swamp against his enemy, and the colour of his scales didn't help with staying concealed. Acer snaked around the dragon under the muddy trenches and plants and fog (a difficult and tiring task), deciding when he should strike. He was a third his opponent's height, meaning he could attempt to slip through the attacks of the monstrous looking sea-dragon. He hung from the bottom of a thickly overgrown swamp tree, examining his enemy, but not reacting.

Bassasail stopped briefly, looking around, he took in a sharp air and closed his eyes, using his senses of sound and smell. He didn't like this one bit at all, it was not the marshes, no, it was his opponent. He expected a larger and slightly smaller being, yet, it would prove that the being hid itself well. And using his sense, he began to remain even more still like a statue almost, awaiting for something, yet, it was undetermined what he awaited for.

Acer soon realized that the second he popped out from behind the marshes his yellow scales would give him away. He needed something to help him camouflage himself. These dark green plants and trees weren't going to cut it. Then he had an idea. Still behind the dragon, or at least he thought he was, he let out  a burst of fire into the overgrown trees, setting part of the swamp alight and darting to the side as the fire spread to trees around his opponent.

Hearing the dragon by little, Bassasail swiftly followed, knocking down the trees that were ablaze in his path, he let out a force of blue fire in the path of the smaller dragon, hoping to hit it. He stopped once more, concentrating on sound and smell.

Acer, in his rush, tried to avoid the burst of blue flames but skidded into the path of the blast, rolling to the side and not getting injured but practically ruining his armor. He flew upwards, away from the wrath of the SeaWing. He could be seen rather easily, but he preferred the skies over the mushy swamps and pitfalls.

Bassasail heard the noise of the dragon as he heard the skidding and armor to the ground, he snapped his eyes opened then looked around, then up, only to see the dragon in air he shot off a beam of blue fire.

Acer, expecting the blast, pushed himself above the beam of blue fire and gave a return blast of his magic-nullifying fire, hoping to stop whatever fire the other dragon was able to use. He dropped his armor onto the ground below, as it would only hinder him in its state.

Bassasail had not seen this attack coming as it would hit his head, causing him to stop his dragon. He tried using another blast, but only got short blue flames that died out after seconds. Confused, Bassasail had no choice but to retreat for the moment. Feeling the swamps out he would go into the deepest parts of the swamps which were surround by trees, enough to where the ground cannot be seen due to the amount of trees that grew the branches and extended further out. As he reached a much deeper spot, he would lay into the swamp, submerging himself underwater and keeping hidden, the water level in that area would rise.

Acer, seeing the other dragon disappear into the swamps, he lowered down, onto one of the hills. he looked around for the dragon, but had no idea where he had disappeared to. He kept vigilant, but stayed on the ground, searching. The water seemed to have taken over more of the swamp than usual, but he didn't take any notice of that.

The water began to shift, a ripple here and there, moving slowly. Bassasail had been used to waters like this before when he fought off another dragon, yet, it had been so long since he did this. Stealth and patience, bassasail stopped, viewing his prey on the land. He awaited for the right time to strike. Most dragons did not have this type of strategy the way Bassasail did, he acted nearly like a crocodile/alligator. Most dragons ignored such reptiles for they saw them as "small" and "weaker," but in all reality, Bassasail appreciated these creatures and treated them as his own kin.

The movement in the water did not attract Acer's attention at first, but he became suspicious when it began to move around, almost intelligently. It was probably some sort of swamp monster or crocodile, but the ripples were small, and he didn't sense any danger from it. He kept looking around, considering if his opponent had simply fled, which seemed unlikely.

bassasail was in range now to attack, and even if the dragon attempted to shoot magic balls at him or even fly/run away, Bassasail would still be successful in this next part. He awaited longer, and as the dragon looked away, Bassasail launched out of the water, his great mouth opening to show the thousands of sharp teeth he had. He would snap shut on the dragons tail and dragged him into the swamp underwater, beginning to roll on his foe like the smaller reptilians.

Acer yelled out as the dragon clamped down on his tail, and began to roll on him. He flailed his claws and tail, trying to cut at the huge mass that was assaulting him. He stabbed at the roof of the other dragon's mouth with his tail blade and tried to rake his claws against the dragon's hide as he tumbled towards the water

Now that he had the dragon successfully underwater... he could feel he pain the dragon was stabbing at the root of his mouth, he could taste the dragons blood as he would apply moocher pressure on the tail. Bassasail kept control long enough, but now, he allowed his primal instincts to take over. He began to chop on the tail, bringing it in as he would flail the dragon rapidly. As he began to eat the dragon, by now he should be close to the hind legs, ripping and tearing the dragon tail until he can make to the main course. Basil was no longer in control, just his appetite for flesh and blood.

Acer screamed in agony as the dragon tore up his tail, but he had to think rationally, even in this pain. Looking back, he sliced off his tail, howled, and took off shudderingly back up the hill and away from the teeth, where he quickly cauterized his horrific stump on which his tail used to be with flames. Unfortunately, without his tail to balance him, he dropped from the sky and tumbled into a dry patch in the marshes.

Bassasail saw the dragon fall to the ground, he knew the dragon was in pain. He needed to end this all quickly, even with the comped off tail the dragon could still fight, and he didn't want that. Crawling on all fours like his reptilian cousins, quickly moving up to the prey. He aimed his chomps at the neck, hoping to crush the invertebrate in the neck to quickly end the dragons life.

Seeing the dragon bearing down on him, he instinctively took off, but front-flipped in mid-air and landed on his opponent's back. He winced at the spiky and rough back of the dragon, but attempted to dig his claws in and hang on for dear life.

Feeling the claws dig into the plating of his beck, Bassasail slammed down on his back, putting all of his weight and much force upon the dragon. He would wiggle his back around to help get the opponent, and the fact the he was slowly digging into the ground would not help his opponent either. There would be no air sooner or later, and the opponent would die of the lack of oxygen, or so Bassasail would think.

Getting crushed by the weight of the dragon, he panicked and tore at the back of the dragon atop with his razor sharp claws, trying to escape.

Bassasail put more pressure as he would crush the dragon more, feeling the scratches on his back, they did affect but no as much thanks to the plating. He could feel the dragon trying to escape, and as it would move Bass would move with the dragon, making sure it does not go anywhere. By now, the dragon should be losing its breath, and will either get crushed flat or suffocate, whichever one works for Bass.
