Being Blind isn't a Curse. ((open to all))

Myyra shifted her wings as she walked. Well, shuffled would be a better word. She shuffled through the grass, the blades brushing her wings and sides. She sniffed the ground curiously when the sound of a mouse reached her ears. They were tiny and not even worth a snack, but she felt like chasing something. Her massive ears pricked as she searched for the sound of its feet or heartbeat. With her hearing, she knew she could hear it, but isolating it with all the other noises cramming themselves in her ears made it difficult.
She pushed her nose against the ground, now relying on scent to find it. She snorted when the trail lead to a hole. She couldn't scare it out. She lifted her head again and pricked her ears for any dragons approaching. She needed someone to talk to.

"Well, I don't need to worry about tribes" Ebony spat, putting emphasis on the last word. "I'm a rogue and I care for myself and myself only. I don't need others to help me and I don't help them." Ebony smirked. She looked up to see the sinking sun. "What are we going to do, sit here and chit chat about nothing all night?" she hissed. "I need to get something to eat."

Yokubo furrowed his brow as the dark dragon continually checked on the placement of the sun in the sky. Since she had spouted nonsense about being a rogue he figured that she had nobody else to go and meet. So why is she so worried about the time? He snorted in displeasure as Ebony then proceeded to hiss about tribes and how the night was fast approaching. He could care less if the she dragon was impatient. It wasn't like there was anybody keeping her from leaving.

Well I could offer to hunt with you if you really want to leave Ebony.. He said this as alluringly as possible while winking at her mischievously. He would love to get some alone time with a lady.

Cariharn landed on a tree nearby at the sight of a few dragons. Two Skywings, a Lightwing and...possibly a rogue. She shuffled her large blue wings a little and observed the four, unsure if she should interrupt their conversation with her presence.

Ebony shuffled her wings. "I can hunt just fine by myself, thanks," she told the dragon. I could leave if I wanted to, she thought. But... Do I? Ebony shook her head, refusing to call herself stubborn even though she was. Suddenly, Ebony felt the uneasy feeling that someone was watching them. "For heavens sake not another," she muttered, quiet enough that the others couldn't hear.

Haneul simply watched the other two dragons while he waited for Myyra to answer. The two of them spoke about hunting and his stomach rumbled a bit. He hadn't eaten yet today, so hunting sounded like a good idea. But since Haneul decided he would eat later, when he could hunt by himself or with some other SkyWings. For now he looked around and wondered just how long the group would sit here. Of course he could always leave, but he wasn't comfortable leaving a tribe member where they might be outnumbered. Not that he expected a fight to break out or anything. Han snorted lightly. Perhaps he took his job too seriously... Maybe that was why he'd been made to take the day off.

(Literally just jumping in XD)

The gentle breeze blew under my wings and into the face, blowing through my scales as gently as a lover's paw. I had my eyes closed, feeling the clouds part as I brought my wings up to complete a flap to stay airborne. i felt free. I felt strong. I felt complete. I opened my eyes and I looked down. The ground was so far away I didn't see the dragons below me. I looked up, and I saw the distant mountains as small as my paw. If you had looked up, you would have seen a white figure with parts of it blue slowly making its way across the sky. Feeling confident, I slowly turned upside down, spreading my wings to their full length. I then pulled my wings in to my body, and then I delt the wind picking up, and I was falling with style. I roared as the wind screamed past, engulfing me in a ball of exitement, deafening roars of the wind, and numbness. Then I spread my wings, snapping them open with a flourish as I came close to thr ground. I felt a jolt of pain in my shoulder, but I was too numb to feel it too much. I glided in a circle down to the ground and I landed with a thud. I stood there, panting, unaware I was just across the field from other dragons.

After some time had past, yet another dragon appeared. A Rogue. Haneul watched as she dove toward the ground and landed not far from where he, Myyra, and those other two were perched. He assumed the dragoness would make her way over here. And if she did, though he would take no pleasure in doing so, the SkyWing would at least give a nod of acknowledgement. But after that, he decided as he shifted slightly to pluck a loose feather from his wing, he would leave and return to his patrols. This break thing was dreadfully awful and the sooner Haneul could be done with it, the better.

I looked around, and that was when the scent of other dragons hit me full in the nostrils. I whirled my head over my shoulder, the bright, almost glowing blue feathers on my back standing on end and my bright blue eyes widened. There was a small group of them. I turned towards them slowly, my eyes narrowed in hostility. I stayed where I was, my tail and head raised in interest, fear, and hostility. I stepped back, my eyes narrowing to thin slits.

Haneul continued to watch as the dragonness looked in the direction of the group and responded with hostile movements. What on Pyrria had they done? The SkyWing was yet the only one to notice her arrival, and he had done nothing. With a slight growl, the Guardian stretched his wings and moved closer to Myyra to protect her if need be. Not that she couldn't handle herself. He was sure she could, but this was his duty. The others, he decided without any thought or care at all, could fend for themselves. He waited to see what the rogue would do, but he doubted she would actually attack them without provocation.

I tensed as the male moved closer to the smaller female. When he growled, I growled back a warning. I did not take kindly to strangers. I slightly stretched my wings, my brain instinctively assessing the flight or fight instinct. I never believed in running, so I simply stood there, leaning back on my two legs slightly (she walks like a wyvern, she walks on her wings as well as her two back paws) i tucked my head in close to my body, protecting my neck from sudden attack.

(Also this is my very first thread I've roleplayed in!)

Haneul studied the female. "What do you want, Rogue?" He shifted slightly again but kept his left wing up in a defensive manner in front of his fellow SkyWing.

I straightened my neck slightly, swishing my tail. "Nothing, I was just flying by,” I flick my tail as I said that, still tense and wary. I studied the group for a moment. There was one defensive looking dark female, one smaller female which I knew had something off about her, this protective male, and whoever else. I let my pupils dilate slightly.

"Then why does your every move suggest an intent to fight?" he hissed lowly. Haneul didn't like the fact that this rogue was so tense. After all, she landed here. If she had no desire to be around dragons she didn't know, then why wouldn't she take better care to ensure none were around? He snorted lightly and continued watching, waiting.

(A-switching pov)

Athena growled. "I won't fight unless I must. Your judgement levels are rather low. I don't hurt others for the sake of hurting others, male," I hissed. I ran my tongue over my teeth, feeling the ice bubbling in my throat. I had little patience for dragons. A small puff of light blue smoke erupted from my nostrils. "So watch your tongue."

"Your body language betrays your words, Wyvern. And what right have you to speak of my judgement? Perhaps it is you who should watch your tongue." The Guardian's tail lashed slightly, the stinger at its end digging into the bark of the tree he was perched in. He had since lowered his right wing, but his left remained raised. Until he received some clear sign that this rogue wasn't going to do anything foolish, the wing would remain extended.

Athena held back her growls. "I do not lie, male, I don't believe in it." My patience was coming to an end. "I shall speak what I like, when I like, so I don't tend to watch my tongue." I looked at the smaller female. Something was off about her.. Something I couldn't name. "I won't hurt your pretty girlfriend, so relax," I added, noting the way he held a protective stance over her. I kept myself tense, but I lowered my tail as my aggresion decreased.

Haneul only growled again. And then he tilted his head at something the Wyvern said. Girlfriend? If not for his serious nature, he would have laughed. He didn't have a girlfriend, nor would he."That will be good to know if I ever find myself with one. But it's hard to relax when a potential threat is so near." As the Guardian watched the female slowly relax herself, his wing lowered slightly.

Athena blinked, her hostility returning to more neutral as I realised he wouldn't harm me unless provoked. "Really? My apologises, Its just, the way you," I gestured to his lowering wing.

Myyra opened her mouth to answer her fellow Skywing, then paused and looked up at more wing beats and a loud roar. She grinned as she heard the speed of the incoming dragoness, excited to find another speedster. She noticed with curiosity a how the wind acted strangely around her. She noticed that it sounded a lot like when she did a dive bomb herself. She breifly wondered if she was similar to herself in the way that she had two wings and two legs, instead of the usual four footsteps she heard from other dragons.
A second later, she heard a whoosh of air rushing past a wing, and there was suddenly something very close to her face. She quickly recognized it as a wing, and-upong closer inspection-realized it was Haneul. Thoroughly blinded, she twisted her long neck around, knowing he likely was doing it for a reason, she didn't knock it away. Her ears twitched as the listened to the conversation between the Guardian and Rogue, raising a brow i confusion. Girlfriend? she wondered, then the wing was lowered, and her "sight" rushed back to her. she smiled at the other dragoness. "Hi!" She chirped, attempting to lessen the tension that had built up while she'd been blinded. She could hear the hostility, but she didn't know what it was for or expressed by. She shifted her massive wings and flicked her tail cheerfully.

Athena looked at the smaller female. She tilted her head as she saw her eyes. It was as if the female's eyes went right through her. She glanced at the male, before deciding to reply. "Hello," she greeted. The young ice wing dipped her head to the female.

(And I forgot to add this part to my post, I hate posting short threads) Athena blinked. She wasn't used to being treated with such welcoming behaviour. "How could one be so.. Happy?" She wondered to herself, watching the female with curiousity. She was a wyvern, like me, smaller then most, but still looked like she could bite. I shuffled one wing slightly, before placing it on the ground again to get rid of an itch under my shoulder.

((Can you maybe try editing your post to add more? It sometimes makes the forum lag otherwise. Although, sometimes I've had it where I can edit my post for some reason...))

Myyra smiled as the dragoness answered her. She could already tell the tension was fading. "What's your name?" She asked. "I'm Myyra, and this is Haneul." she said, indicating the guardian near here. She tipped her head as did tried to study the other dragoness. Definitely a wyvern. Other than that, she was clueless.
