Kelarth, God of Fortune The_red_ying_lung_by_lena_lucia_dragon-d6ccsj3
Personal Info
Name: Kelarth
Alias: Kele, Kel, God of Fortune
Age: Immortal
Gender: Male

Personality: Kelarth watches the mortal Dragons, listening to their wishes for fortune good or bad and occasionally granting it. He can be quite social or quiet depending on his mood. Some of the Gods/Goddesses stay within their realms, rarely visiting the mortals Dragons, while other do the opposite. Kelarth typically does both equally. While it is somewhat subtle, there is an air of regality about him. But Kelarth does not command respect, rather he does all he can to earn it. He is a very humble God but isn't afraid to remind that he is one. Often, he is very stingy in the use of his powers; while most may only think of good fortune, Kelarth also deals with the bad. As a result, he must maintain a balance between the two and often will refuse to help if doing so could cause an imbalance. However, he has been known to randomly cause wide-spread good fortune if in a really good mood or bad fortune if in a bad mood. While the God likes all the Tribes and the Rogues of Pyrria, he has a soft spot for the EarthWings and SkyWings.

Interests: Mortal Dragons, the other Gods and Goddesses, the effect of his powers on the world

Dislikes: Humans, war, hot weather

Fears: A significant imbalance between good and bad fortune

General Appearance
Height: 60ft
Scales: Reddish brown and light wheat brown
Eyes: Hazel
Appearance: Kelarth is a 60ft Chinese Dragon. His scales are reddish brown, like clay, with light wheat brown scales on his underbelly, chest, and face. Four large, gold horns adorn his head; two on top and one behind each ear. He also has gold plating on his chest which fans outward on the sides. Just beside his nostrils are long, white-gold whiskers that come down to his chest and seem to flow constantly despite there being no wind to move them. His head, back, and half his tail is adorned with a mane of soft, thick, black feathers. The feathers of his wings are white, with soft gold tones on the tips. Tufts of more white, hair-like feathers frame the sides of his face, while black ones form a beard under his chin. Each paw has five toes with sharp claws. His eyes are a bright hazel.

Tribe Information and Status
Tribe: N/A
Rank: God of Fortune
Family: Father (Deceased), Mother (Deceased)
Mate: N/A
Hatchlings: N/A

Skills and Abilities
Strengths: Because of his serpentine body, Kelarth is very supple and a fast flyer. He could easily dodge projectile weapons. His five-toed paws allow for a better grip compared to other Dragons. He can fly without his wings, so losing the use of one or both wouldn't affect his ability to become airborne. His horns are stronger than his claws and just as sharp, thus he could use them to gorge an enemy.

Special Abilities: Being the God of Fortune, Kelarth can use his power to affect one's life either directly or indirectly. For example, one that has been given good fortune might be become unusually successful at hunting. One who isn't a very good fighter might suddenly become very skilled. However this would be temporary, lasting only an hour. Bad fortune might include the recipient getting sick or getting into trouble with their tribe, though nothing so bad that they would get banished. He can grant one the ability to turn an event in their favor by the same direct or indirect method. If there appears to be too much good fortune going around, Kelarth will cause some wide-spread misfortune to balance it out and vice versa. An example of this might be shown with an illness spreading across one or more tribes. The severity of the illness would depend how much of an imbalance there is. The opposite might be shown with all tribes experiencing good fortune, varying from tribe to tribe. Fortune radiates around him, in a way, like a shield. Because he can directly affect one with his power, he may increase the amount of negative fortune around him to increase his chance of winning a fight he might normally lose. However, he often won't do this. His powers aren't limited to living things. He can also affect nature, causing natural disasters. If angered--or if wide-spread misfortune is needed, Kelarth can cause a plethora of disasters across Pyrria, from earthquakes to tornadoes. The FireWing territory could experience extremely cold weather, while the--former--EarthWing territory might experience enough rain to flood it. He can feed off the pessimism or optimism of others to greatly increase his powers or strengths.

Weaknesses: It is harder for Kelarth to affect the lives of Dragons who don't believe in the Gods/Goddesses or fate. Dragons who are very pessimistic are hard to bestow good fortune upon to better their lives. And very optimistic Dragons can't well receive bad fortune to worsen their lives. Because he is a very moral, Kelarth won't readily use his power for or against someone, even if they deserve it. Because there needs to be a balance between good and bad fortune, if there is too much of either one, Kelarth is weakened and any attempt to use his powers while there is an imbalance would only add to it rather than make it better.

Combat Style: He doesn't have a particular fighting style.

Background
RP Sample: An alt of Baldirak

Cool you might want to explain your powers a bit more both for your sake and everyone else's though. For example the kinds of things that happen when one has bad luck or good luck. Like someone who has bad luck may run into a bunch of natural disasters. What I'm trying to suggest is explain just how far your powers can go for example casting super bad luck on the whole world and natural disasters breaking out everywhere.

Anyways you don't have to. If you want I could just approve it now and send it to the gods section.
