Bothered and befuddled? Who is?

Kip, that's who.

The Monsterlypse has made Pyyria a very dangerous place to roam, especially for dragon rogues, seeing as they have no Tribe to call home, and no dragon to rely on. Most dragons may be angry at the gods, as they would be the ones to unleash the great predicament. Kip, on the other hand, was rather confused. Why would they do this? To some the answer was obvious, but Kip was completely befuddled. Was this a punishment? A wake-up call?

Kip was eager to look for solutions and answers. She could find a gold feather so she could speak to Kelarth, but she had no idea where to start looking for one. Since Astral was Queen of the Gods, would she be the one to talk to? But why would she choose to speak to Kip, a mere rogue? How would one contact the goddess? If there was a way, Kip Valtieri really wanted to find out.

There was nothing to do for now. The female LightWing now trekked beside a river, watching the silver shapes of fish flicker through the currents. She kept her shoulders squared in case a monster showed up, but for now the area was clear. Kip released a forlorn sigh. Now that she was looking at the wriggling silver fish in the water, she began to feel hungry. She paused for a moment to taste the air, wondering if there were beings nearby who may disturb her fishing.

Wake hunted from the skies, this time keeping his distance from Servius' territory. He was hungry, and monsters weren't helping anything, especially since he was prey to them. The wyvern slide through the sky, soon spotting a cow. What on Pyyrai was a cow doing in the middle of nowhere? Probably the world's most unlucky runaway.

Wake zeroed in, and quickly grabbed the meal with his legs, snapping it's neck before it could make much of a sound. The small dragon then tried to find a nice spot to eat, until he saw another dragon. Had he really gone into another dragon's territory. He decided to make his presence known as he flew down and softly landed. "Hello. Is this your territory?"

Just as Kip decided that nobody was around, she crouched next to the river. She would normally eat fruit and vegetables, but since food was so hard to find these days she had to settle with what was before her. She fanned her wings and kept her claws at the ready, prepared to strike. With a swift motion of her neck, the dragoness lurched her maw into the water, pulling out a flopping fish. With a firm bite she dispatched the prey, and it fell still.

Kip dropped the fish, and that was when she realized a fellow dragon was present. He was a wyvern. . . Something Kip had never seen before. Most dragons walked around on four legs these days. She did meet Bassasail, but he wasn't really a wyvern like this dragon was.

The female stood, addressing the newcomer with a nod before she realized he could take that as her saying that this was her territory, which it wasn't. Kip quickly said, "Oh, no, it's not. I'm just walking around."

Wake let out a sigh of relief. "Thank Kelarth I didn't do it again." The wyvern then looked at the dragoness in front of him. She was serpentine, with feathered wings and short legs. He then saw the fish at her feet. Apparently she had the same idea he did: get something to eat.

Wake then thought it might be a good idea to introduce himself. "My name's Wake by the way."

(I just wanted to keep you guys aware that the gods are considered myths now. You can still believe in them, from what I know, if it is a deep part of your history, but you'll be considered crazy by most if you do )

It had been quite the week. A certainly stressful week, she believed. She couldn't explain it, but for some reason, she felt like that had been a shift in the universal balance, as if the universe itself had experienced a violent stroke. The thought made her shiver. Something was quite wrong, that much she was sure of. But she would get nowhere worrying herself half to death about it. It was best just to shrug it off, and pray that nothing terrible were to happen.

But that didn't seem likely. Apparently, hideous monsters and beasts had started terrorizing the tribes and the roguelands. It was a terrifying thought, to think that dragonkind might be in danger once more. First those wretched humans, now this. Not that Amore had been really affected by the humans' invasion. It had mostly been the Twilight Imperium affected by the whole ordeal, and maybe some of the SeaWings.

Though, despite the disturbances, life hadn't changed for the SkyWings. Though, they seemed to be slightly more empty than Amore remembered them. They used to be so alive and full of life, and now the SkyWing seemed to barely see anyone from her own tribe anymore. It reflected her own life. Such an ironic statement, wasn't it. How the tribe's glory fell with her own. Now it simply reflected a shell of what it used to be.

Amore felt like she had been overworking herself lately, mostly because of stress. She had simply been rushing all over the palace, trying to keep herself busy to distract herself from her own anxiety. She had tried busying herself with hatchlings, but for some unknown reason, that just wasn't helping. Finally, after a bit of thinking, she decided to go for a flight to clear her head.

She had almost forgotten how much she loved flying. The wind on her face, underneath her winds, lifting her high up the ground. Because of a former injury, she often didn't get the chance to fly the way she was now. It hurt too much. But as long as she flew low, and didn't get too riled up, she should be fine.

For a while she'd fly, flying so far she believed she was now in rogue territory. But her flying had limits, and she slowly began to feel an aching in her chest. She winced. Better land, before she pulls something, she thought to herself, adjusting her wings to pull herself into a landing.

As she spread out her wings to glide down safely, she'd notice a flash of movement. When she got closer, she spotted two dragons through the trees, by a nearby river or stream. They didn't appear to be from any tribe...

She'd try to quiet down her landing, as she touched down onto the ground, roughly ten yards away from the two dragons. She didn't particularly want to be secretive, and her bones hurt enough already. Peacefully, she'd saunter over, portraying her age in the way she walked. She'd offer a smile towards them.

"Greetings, youngsters. Sorry to intrude, I just needed a quick place to land and heal my aching bones," she'd explain apologetically. She was used to rogues, unlike some other dragons. She, after all, had been banished from her tribe once, and had lived among them as a rogue, at one point.

"Kip," the LightWing replied to this wyvern, who called himself Wake. "It's a pleasure."

As she chewed up her fish, she wondered what Wake meant by his previous dialogue. Had he accidentally waltzed into some other dragon's territory before? Kip shuddered at the thought. She did that before as well, to Bassasail. She was lucky that the SeaWing began to put trust in her. . . Otherwise, Kip was sure that he would crush her spine and slit her throat.

The LightWing realized that a fish just wasn't going to cut it, so she crouched by the river again, raising her head as a pretty pink dragon approached. It was female, and didn't look like a rogue to Kip. The LightWing gave the older dragoness a respectful nod. "It's no problem, miss." Then, after a moment of thought, she added, "Do you like fish? I would be happy to catch you one if you would like."

((I know Amore. Wake's a bit different since he met Kelarth in "An Immortal on Pyyrai," so he knows at least the God of Fortune is real.))

Wake smiled when the dragoness, Kip, was willing to tell him her name. Not many Rogues were that open to sharing information like that, so it refreshing to meet a more open one like him. Then she said it was a pleasure to meet him. He smiled more and nodded. "Same."

Wake then decided to chow down on the cow he had caught. He didn't get to eat beef often, and though he preferred shark, it still tasted great. The wyvern wasn't good at conserving energy like other dragons, so he needed to eat. Then he heard someone coming.

Wake's grey eyes then saw a pink colored dragon. She was at least three times as old as he was, but what surprised him was how calm she seemed. Maybe she was another Rogue? No. She didn't hold herself like one. He was also happy the Kip didn't seem to mind the older 'ness being there. "Like she said, it's fine."

today was the day that Zeoldrerrirth would finally get his break from training today. he never expected training to be this complexed! he was flying above the rouge terrirtory, but he didnt know, since his trainer never warn him. his bone body made rattle noises as he landed, a little hard. he taught himself how to fly, so his skills were a bit lousy.

when he landed, he looked around closing his wings. he was going to take a quick nap, and thats all. he layed down on the soft grass, resting

The dragons didn't seem too surprised by Amore's sudden entrance. This was good. Perhaps they weren't as on edge as she thought they would be. After all, after everything that had happened, it was a miracle rogues were even still around, let alone the tribes, after all the chaos and destruction that had occurred. She was secretly glad by their seeming ignorance and... somehow quiet bliss.

She'd purr soothingly when they said it would be no problem. She was quite glad they were friendly. In her days she had run into quite a few rogues that would have blasted her on sight. They did have a nasty tendency of claiming territory and protecting it with fierce diligence. Especially those rogue FireWings, she thought with a hint of disdain.

But regardless, she merely smiled. The dragoness then offered her some fish. Quite generous to do something like that for someone you'd never met, especially when it was rogues doing such things. Usually, rogues had a mentality survival of the fittest. Probably the only reason they weren't part of a tribe. That had certainly been Amore's viewpoint at a time...

"Oh, that's awfully kind of you to do something like that for me, dear. I would actually quite enjoy a fish, if it is not too much of an inconvenience to you, that is." she'd say jollily. She'd then dip her head in greeting towards the younger dragons, raising back up to looking them kindly in the eyes.

"It would be rude of you not to introduce myself, especially after you offered a meal. My name's Amore, pleasure to meet you," she'd say elegantly. After she introduced herself, she began to hear the distant flapping of wings. Another dragon approaching, perhaps? My, wasn't this river busy today.

Kip had no problem with the new dragons, but now she was feeling uncomfortable, now seeing as one more approached. She hadn't been around this many dragons in years. She wasn't much of a shy one, but she was used to being on her own for years, only speaking to maybe one or two dragons a week. Being around three was a new record. She stood her ground though, and only smiled kindly at the pink dragoness as she crouched by the river.

"My name is Kip," the LightWing responded. "Nice to make your acquaintance."

Rather than using her jaws to catch the fish, Kip lashed out with a paw into the water, hooking out a wriggling fish in her claws. She was aware that some dragons didn't care, but Kip also knew that others wouldn't like their food previously in another's mouth. Kip could gag at the thought. She nudged the fish politely towards the light red dragoness. The name Amore rang a bell, but she wasn't sure who she was or who she could be. She spoke with a sort of grace and elegance that Kip couldn't quite describe. . .

He opened his eyes, looking at the three. His eyes widen when he noticed, there was a small crowd. He didn't like crowds, so he tryed to keep his distance. He gotten up and backed away a little, just in case one of them come near. He then layed down again, lifting his head up a little to get a better look a them.

Then he thought: should he introduced himself, or not?

The wyvern couldn't help but smile at the old dragoness. Her name's seemed familiar, but Wake couldn't put his tongue on it. "I'm Wake. Nice to meet you." Hr ate some more cow before he heard something land. He instinctively turned towards the sound as his horns frilled out. Wake knew he probably looked crazy, but head had learned never to chalk something up to "just a noise."

Amore nodded towards Kip in appreciation. As a dragoness whom hadn't exactly grown up in the finest condition, she didn't really mind eating fish that had been in another dragon's mouth, but she did appreciate the fact that the dragoness wanted to make an effort to please her regardless.

She'd lower her head, picking up the fish. It tasted quite good. Freshwater fish were always much more enjoyable that saltwater. Amore wasn't really that much of a fan of salt. It wasn't that big of a fish, though, so she finished it off fairly quickly, dipping her head towards Kip in thanks.

"Thank you. That was quite delicious," she said thankfully. Her attention then turned towards Wake when he spoke, "Wake, eh? Wake and Kip. Such pleasant names. It's nice to meet you, Wake," she'd say. Suddenly, Wake seemed to grow tense, as he stared off in the direction of the noise. Curious, Amore followed his gaze.

A little ways away, partly concealed by the nearby bushes, was a small dragon. Well, not really all that small. They appeared to be a juvenile. And it had the unmistakable smell of a NightWing.

Amore tensed up a bit. However, the dragon seemed young. Not to mentioned they looked scared, or at least nervous. Amore decided to offer a smile towards it, grinning kindly.

"Hello, little one. Don't worry, I won't hurt you." she said calmly, flicking her tail absentmindedly.

he did a small growl to the skywing, a bit tense. he didnt really like greetings from other dragons except from nightwings, especially from adult ones. the bone dragon would be backing away a little more, but something felt to him that he wont.

finally, he said "um...hello.." he said to the female

Wake looked at the odd dragon. He would've been shocked if he hadn't seen stranger things. The young dragon was completely made of bones. Then he noticed how nervous the young dragon was. The wyvern's horn then closed back against his neck. He was curious about the smaller dragon, and wondered why he was so nervous.

The LightWing female gave Amore a polite nod, smiling before eyeing the new dragon as he came into her sights. He was a true spectacle to her. . . A dragon completely composed of bones, with no flesh, stomach, or brains. Maybe it was rude, but Kip began to wonder all sorts of things about him. Was he brought into the world by an egg, or was he created in some sort of strange, unnatural way? Did he ever eat? Could he drink? Was he more vulnerable to harm?

The LightWing began to get a faraway look in her eyes before jerking herself back to reality. She usually didn't like to be around so many dragons, but this male intrigued her. Kip looked at him with a kindly inclined head, hoping that would draw him near, despite him being nervous.

Amore had to admit, the youngling was quite peculiar. A dragon composed entirely of bones? She had never seen anything like it before. Then again, if humans could conquer the EarthWings, then anything was possible, she supposed. Still, this creature was obviously a dragon, unless some dark form of necromancy, and she didn't believe it meant any ill intent.

It also didn't smell like a rogue, which caused her worry. Rogues had a very.. peculiar scent, in the fact they didn't really have a strong scent. They smelled gruff and unclean almost, whereas most tribal dragons had very strong scents. It was impossible for Amore to tell what kind of dragon this dragon was, because they had no scales or anything to identify them by species.

So strange.

Nonetheless, Amore would be hospitable. After all, he seemed quite scared, or nervous, judging by the way he backed up when he saw that Amore and the other three dragons had noticed him.

"Hello, youngin. My name is Amore, it's a pleasure to meet you. What's your name?" she asked, with that motherly voice she tended to use with all the hatchlings and juvenile dragons she cared for.

He looked at the 3 dragons, noticing on how they looked at him. he heard Amore wanting to know on whats his name, like a mother would ask a little hatchling something. but still, he couldnt just stay quiet for much longer, they were already curious about him, especilly the pink-colored one.

Finally....he spoke...

he sighned as he introduced himself. "Zeoldrerrirth, is the name." he then put his bone head back down on the soft and a little moist grass

Wake looked at the younger dragon. He didn't seem too comfortable around all these dragons, which the wyvern could admittedly relate too. He looked over at Kip, then Amore; then finally back at the bone dragon, Zeoldrerrirth, with an attempt at a comforting look on his face. Zeoldrerrirth? Nice to meet ya. My name's Wake."

The small, bone like dragon seemed to be loosening up a bit, as Amore began to notice him grow slightly less weary towards the small group of three. His expression didn't seem to be one much willing, though, and she almost would have frowned. Perhaps the dragon was an introvert, and didn't much like the pressure of suddenly being practically surrounding by three other dragons.

Not that any of them were much intimidating. Amore was 30 feet, Wake was only about 20 feet, and Kip about 50. Even though the dragon whom called himself Zeoldrerrirth was taller than Wake, he had the appearance of a youngin.

Amore would dip her head towards Zeo in greeting. It was always nice to meet new faces, even if they were unusual. She then returned a happy glance back to Zeo, responding, "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Zeoldrerrirth. You look a little tense. I hope we didn't intrude on anything?" she asked. She wasn't one to bother a young dragon when they wanted alone time. If he needed space, she'd be happy to give it to him.

After listening in silence for a handful of seconds, Kip greeted the bone dragon at last. "I'm Kip Valtieri. A pleasure to meet you." She grabbed a fish out of the water with her teeth and dropped it at her paws. The LightWing glanced up at the bone dragon, letting herself smile. "Do you like fish?" She curled her tail around her paws, eyeing Zeolderrith curiously. What a spectacle. . .

looking at kip, he replied "um..well..i never tasted it before,and ill never will. i dont need to eat or drink,but thank you"

he rested his head on the grass again,thinking about how was his creator was like

Wake gave the bone dragon a curious look. He began to wonder where exactly this dragon came from. It was clear he wasn't natural, but that was all the young wyvern could tell. He finally got the nerve to spoke up as he continued to think about the odd dragon. "Wait? So you can't taste anything? Dang. I couldn't imagine not being able to taste anything. Especially shark."

Amore watched as the little bone wyvern began to have a distant expression, staring off seemingly into space. She flicked her tail a bit, glancing tentatively over at Kip and Wake. They seemed just as surprised as she was at the aspect of a bone dragon. She listened as Wake asked the bone wyvern a question, and it began to make Amore ponder. Could this dragon not feel, either? Not smell, taste, or touch? What a horrible life that would be! To not be able to smell the great wonders of this world, why, that was a crime within itself!

Still, Amore remained silent. She was curious to hear the little dragon's answer.
