General Appearance

Scales: Barak's scales are shaped like a fish's scales, and cover his body in a blanket of black semi-circles that shimmer in certain lights.
Eyes: Barak's eyes are a glowing blue.
Appearance:

Barak is a black, sharp featured hybrid with two long horns that come down all the way to his eyes and end a few inches after, molding with the skin on his snout to form a triangle formation on the top. He has glowing blue eyes that appear almost white in some lighting scenarios, and are wide and expressive.

Barak is not very well built for anything other then storm-riding. He is thin and almost girlish-looking, but sinister. He has long legs that end in treacherous black claws that curve down, resembling that of a wolf's claws. Barak is actually built a little like a wolf. His stomach curls up like one, his legs resemble that of a wolf's, just everything about him seems canine. Apart from his face and scales, of course.

His wings are huge and the colour of black, but when he is storm-rides the bits in between the bones holding his wing together flash a brilliant blue, along with his eyes, claws, teeth and tail blade, before going back to normal. His tail is long and ends in a sharp blade used to sting and shock others.

Strengths:

Storm Sensing: Barak has a sort of 'sixth sense,' that allows him to sense when a storm is brewing. He can sense this due to the fact that lightning powers his magic, so he can sense the familiar vibrations that course through his body moving in their masses either above him or near him. He can sense storms from up to two kilometres away.

Intelligence: Barak, like most dragons, is quite intelligent. He is not the smartest in the world, and he tends to take jokes too seriously,  but when it comes to things to do with the weather, he's a walking encyclopedia. He is quite cunning in battle. So, he is a LITTLE below average when it comes to the ways of life and living normally in society, but when it comes to fighting, he is smart and quick thinking, though at his best when questioned about the weather, in particular, lightning storms.

Speed: Barak was built mostly for speed. Though slightly bulkier and stronger then his sister, he is quite weak in strength, but he makes up for this in speed. He can fly at about 80mph for several minutes, but this severely drains his energy. It works best when he's flying at his top speeds through storms, as the storm will replenish his energy while he uses it up.

Lightning Bolt: Barak can shoot lightning bolts. Obviously, they are no where near as dangerous as an actual lightning bolt, but they are still quite threatening. He can shoot one at a time continuously for about five seconds, before he has to stop it from overheating his maw. The bolts are brilliant white and rather frightening. On impact with the ground, they will leave scorch marks. On impact with a DRAGON, it will give them a small shock that can cause them to freeze or fall depending on how their body reacts to the lightning. The bolt will burn them a small bit.

Special Abilities:

Storm Riding: Barak has the ability known as 'storm riding.' It is where he can absorb lightning into his body and use it as energy. It is his only source of power. So, he basically runs on 'electricity.' Lightning is attracted to the immense electricity locked away in his brain, like his grandmother, and his grandmother's grandmothers. Nobody knows how his ancestors got this ability, much less inherited it. The cells in his brain act as a sort of magnet, drawing the lightning to it if it strikes within five feet of Barak.
You may be thinking, well, how does he get close enough to the lightning that it does not harm him? Barak can use his 'storm sensing' or 'sixth sense,' ability to enable him to tell where and when lightning will strike.
When the lightning hits him, it does not harm him, it instead absorbs into his body, channels through his veins and into his brain, which 'recharges him' in a sense.
The 'riding part' comes from Barak's ability to use lightning to boost him. If he turns a certain way just as lighting strikes, he can use it to 'push him' as he absorbs it. This enables him to get just a little more speed for a moment. If he follows a path of several lightning strikes, he can go quite fast as long as he keeps his momentum and continues to 'storm ride.' The moment he stops, he will go back to his normal speed. He can go up to speeds of 85 MPH with these boosts.
Weaknesses:

Barak's ultimate weapon can kill him. If he is overcharged, he will, in a nutshell, explode. Quite literally. The thing is, he's always on the move and constantly using up energy, so this will likely never be a problem for him. However, if he is continuously charged for a long period of time by the right type of electricity, he WILL die. By explosion. The energy will have built up and up and up, and eventually, with no where to go, it will try to escape from Barak's head. Of course, by force, which means Barak will detonate from the rush of pressure and energy.

Barak has no resistance against any of the elements, but his fear of fire is justified. Fire doesn't just burn him, it MELTS him. If a normal flame was breathed on him, and he had no protection, it would melt a few of his scales. Continue to do that, his skin would bleed, then also melt. The same goes for each layer of his body. Barak can repair himself by using his electrical currents to rebuild and replenish his wounds, but it can take weeks at a time to help a bad wound from fire heal. Barak can die from too much fire, which makes him nervous around FireWings and a bit panicky in their presence.

Barak is not a very strong dragon. He is unable to push another dragon, even another Skywing. He relies on his cunning, his speed and his magic to defend himself against enemies.
Combat Style:

Background
History: Barak and his sister, Electra, were brought up around storms. His knowledge of them came from his Icewing mother,  Lightning, who first tested them for the ability to 'Storm Ride' and helped them train and harness their powers.
Barak and his sister left their den after their mother passed from her heart being slowly melted by a Firewing's blast of fire. Their father died of a broken heart. He refused to eat, sleep, do anything. He just laid by their mother's grave, crying nonstop. Barak had to watch him deteriorate into a helpless newt of a dragon, and then wake up to him dead of starvation. Torch, in his rage, went out to hunt the FireWing. He never came back.
The two left, going their separate ways. Barak ended up in Pyrria, his sister somewhere else in the world. He now lives with the IceWings, trying to climb the ranks to prove his worth and forget about the face of his father as he died.
