[OPEN]Peace and quiet.
Argenka laid down her hammer and tongs, after a hard day's work of hammering away at tools, weapons, and armour for a few selected individuals she was beaten and needed a rest. Though she loved smithing she'd better take a break before she starts to loathe what she loves the most. She talked to her mother and told her to cover for her while she went out, Being close to the flare mountain as her small trade village was she liked to hike up the mountain and visit a stream of lava heading down the mountain. It was her favorite spot for when she was getting on edge.
She sighed as she reached the edges of the stream, the steam, the warmth of being close to the liquid felt nice against her scales. She seated herself down and embraced the calmness of the stream.

Re: [OPEN]Peace and quiet.
You want to become a soldier? Then prove you can handle yourself on your own. Fly to a village near the edge of the FireWing territory. Alone. Bring me back an item that proves you’ve been there. Then we’ll see if your bark is better than your bite.
The soldier’s words had played over and over again in Inferno’s mind, practically driving her mad. She hadn’t said anything back to him. Instead, she immediately flew back to her cave and gathered her belongings. Her father was confused when she asked about the village she was challenged to reach, but ultimately gave her direction and told her to fly safely.
Inferno hadn’t talked back to the doubtful soldier...but now she wished she did. Now that she’d had time to formulate her thoughts, she could think of a million names she could have called him. It made her all the more furious just thinking about it, and thus her wing beats were more forceful, and aggravated.
I’ll show him she thought, I’ll show everyone. I can do anything that a soldier can do. Even better, in fact! I won’t just get one thing, I’ll bring back twenty! I’ll move the whole village to the volcano if I have to!
After a few more minutes of flying, Inferno began to slow to a halt. She could see the village was not too far away, and a small smile curled onto her lips. That must be the place. I wonder if they’ll have anything good to ea-
The rambunctious FireWing’s thoughts were cut-off as she took note of what appeared to be an alligator near a lava stream. It didn’t occur to her that alligator’s didn’t like lava, so she immediately swooped down with her talons outstretched to snag the creature and have a free meal.
As she got closer, Inferno’s eyes widened and she immediately flapped her wings frantically to stop herself. With a bewildered expression, she eyed the alligator; or, at least, she thought it was an alligator.
Upon closer inspection, it was clear that this was another dragon, not some kind of prey.
A hot wash of embarrassment, hotter than the lava that she was now closer to, plagued her. She cleared her throat and attempted to casually land on the other side of the stream from this stranger.
“You’re a FireWing!” Inferno exclaimed, as if this would be news to her. She winced then rubbed the back of her neck with her talon and looked away. “I mean, I thought you were an alligator from a distance. I almost killed you for dinner. That would’ve been a terrible story for the first dragon I’ve ever killed.”
Inferno locked her eyes back onto the other FireWing’s. “I mean, hi, my name’s Infernoclaw. What’s yours? And why are you away from your village?” She squinted, as if suspecting this dragon of malicious intent and trying to see past some sort of facade.
