A shelter in the storm (private w/ Eysseth unless otherwise)

It was night and the night was usually her time to shine...at least shine as much as she could. To say she was simple-minded was wrong, she was one of the feared predators of the night...at least to the smaller critters living in the forest. She was pretty clever too, being able to learn from her mistakes and learn how some animals behave when she does things, like jumping at them too early or when they take notice of her. But in the end, she was just a hatchling, not freshly hatched but yet very young. And no matter how much she enjoyed her hunting, she was longing for something...for someone to take care of her.

...in short, she was looking for her mommy. She knew her mommy had to be somewhere, a feeling deep in her told her that out there was someone who could takr her in, keep her safe. But until then, she had to take care of herself...or at least try to survive the night. As young Narga was prowling through the night, her echo picked something up. Rather, several somethings, as a pack of wolves was making its way to her. She did not know what they were, but she knew that they were dangerous, she had "seen" them hunting down other animals, sometimes even bigger ones than herself. Slowly, but carefully, she made steps backward, hoping to not be noticed. Until she stepped on a twig, it broke, and all the heads of the pack turned to her.

There was nothing to think about, for her as a hatchling and for the situation as a whole, her instincts only told her one thing, run. She turned around and dashed off, only guided by the echo in front of her and the sounds of the wolves hunting behind her. As she run, she started making clicking noises. Not to use her echo, that she does silent, rather to call for help, for anyone to help her, save her...

The ground shakes as Eysseth takes her steps through the forest enjoying the night above ground. The dragoness stops and looks up through a gap in the trees seeing the stars above and sighs at the beauty. This is what she had been missing in her time underground. Few things in life are as beautiful as seeing the stars after so much time underground. These thoughts are the only ones going through Eysseth's head when she hears something chirping rather loudly. A confused look crosses the dragoness' face as she looks around for the source of the chirping. Using her tremorsense Eysseth finds the source of the chirping. A small creature running from a number of other creatures.

A feeling of the chirping being a cry for help stirred the Earthwing into action. As quickly as she can Eysseth races towards the small creature calling for help. Thankfully her tremorsense kept the giant dragoness from crushing the small creature as she scooped up the tiny thing in her wings. A quick glance assured Eysseth that the small creature was indeed a hatchling. With this realization Eysseth's maternal instincts kick in as she turns to the pack chasing the little hatchling with a loud growl. "You shall not hurt a tiny one!"

As if being chased by the pack of wolves wasn't enough, the ground started shaking as well. But the latter was rather secondary as the wolves were slowly closing in. But that wouldn't do much good for them as she was scooped up by something large...no, something huge, and held close. It didn't matter for her who or what it was but for now she felt save as both the chase and the trembling of the ground stopped.

As she curled up into whoever was holding her, she could make a fee things out with and without her echolocation. For one, her savior was huge, several times larger than herself and that meant a lot for her little world. That thing also growled and made some awkward noises she couldn't understand but it apparently made the wolves flee in terror which meant safety for little Narga. She was still trembling a bit, the adrenaline in her body still keeping her active while she nuzzled her savior, what she thought would be the right action at the time.

Eysseth watches snarling as the wolves run whimpering from the massive EarthWing. With the threat gone the dragoness' demeanor changed to concern as she looked down at the little hatchling she saved. "Aren't you a cute little one. Are you okay? You are so tiny to be on your own." Eysseth smiles and chuckles as the hatchling nuzzles into her while still shaking. The hatchling was obviously still terrified from the wolves so Eysseth gently nuzzles back before lightly licking the hatchling's head to clean it a bit. "Are you hungry tiny one?"

After she heard the wolves whimpering and their steps becoming more and more quiet as they left the two dragons alone, her shivering became less as she started to make herself a picture of her savior through her echolocation. Though it didn't end in much as the being was much too big for her to properly see. Though she couldn't help but giggle as the large dragon started licking her which felt like taking a bath. But she made more of those awkward noises she couldn't understand.
Though as the big one tried to talk to her, her tummy began rumbling, remembering her of the fact that the wolves took away her chance to get something to eat. But she didn't really want to leave the safety of the big one, fearing that the wolves would come once again if they found her alone. So she whimpered a bit and pawed on the ground, hoping that her savior would stay with her while she was going to get some...or even bring her some.

"You poor dear. You must be starving. I'll get you some food little one." Eysseth finishes licking the little hatchling and places the tiny one on her back. The EarthWing looks around for something quick she can hunt for the little hatchling since the tiny stomach growling was very noticeable. Suddenly something appears in her termorsense range.

A wild boar with a few piglets trots through the forest entering the range of Eysseth. A ping of sadness goes through Eysseth before she grabs one of the piglets with her tail causing it to squeal. The mother boar instantly turns and charges at Eysseth for snatching one of her piglets. With a swat from her paw the boar is knocked quite a ways away causing her remaining piglets to run away also squealing now. Eysseth lets the boars run away as she uses a talon to quickly kill the piglet.

The EarthWing lays the piglet on her back next to the tiny hatchling. "Eat up little clicky. Eat all you want."
