Personality: I wouldn't walk up to this dragon and ask for a hug if I were you. Nihlus would rather gut a dragon alive than talk it out. He has an unhealthy taste for blood and will more than willingly take a life for a reason as ridiculous as dirtying his scales. Don't worry though. He won't kill a dragon unless you get in his way. His patience is about as short as his fire is hot. So don't leave him waiting or you'll get a nasty surprise. Although, Nihlus isn't all bad like you may believe. He has a special spot for hatchlings and those in need. Once you get past that nasty outer shell (and you never will), you've got a friend (and guardian) for life. Nihlus is also extremely loyal and absolutely despises those who betray others. Because he isn't very fond of other dragons, he tends to avoid contact with them. He could be deemed 'over-protective' of his queen, however, claims he is only doing his job. Nihlus hates crowds and large groups of people and cannot function in them. This is because Nihlus becomes jumpy and stressed when too many things are happening at once without his control.

General Appearance
Height: 140 ft
Scales: Thick, dusty crimson scales. Significantly thicker plates along his spine. Heavily armored beige-colored underbelly. Knees, elbows and shoulders are also more plated than the rest of his body.
Eyes: Intensely glowing amber.
Appearance: Stocky yet somewhat lean. He is equipped with a broad set of shoulders and rippling muscles, giving him an intimidating effect. His neck is thick but elegantly curved.

Strengths: Nihlus extremely strong and hard to damage. His dense muscles allow him to pack extraordinary power within each blow. Nihlus's fire is a staggering 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Smoldering Breath
Nihlus can exhale a stream of fire at any given moment in time. However, if he his in an unusually wet climate, he may be unable to go through with the task.

Talons of Rage
Nihlus can ignite his own claws to make clawing much more effective.

Weaknesses: Nihlus isn't exactly the most graceful or agile. He is sturdy, but he isn't a super parkour ninja. He is also one to try his luck and is often overly-confident. He isn't the smartest either. He rarely takes tactics into consideration and is pretty straightforward.
Combat Style: Nihlus relies on immense physical strength and luck to win his battles.
