New, But Old ((SkyWings))

Ever since he'd become the "semi" god of lightning and storms, Zephyros had been unsure what to do. He had better control over his powers, even though they'd grown. The clouds still followed him, but not as consistently. If he was in a bad mood, they completely avoided him, strangely. Wasn't it the cliche that clouds followed you only when you were sad? Or was it angry...? Zephyros had forgotten. Either way, he wasn't used to it at all. Then there was the lightning thing, which he'd quickly discovered he had to let off at least once a day, or he'd get horribly sick. Good thing nobody had been around when that had happened.

He'd still been going through his daily Guardian duties, unsure what else to do. Today, however, he'd decided to make a visit to the SkyWing capital, which he hadn't done in a while. He'd been worried it would be awkward around his old friends, however few of them there were, and the other SkyWings he hadn't known as well. It had to be done eventually, however, and today was as good a day as any. Glancing over his shoulder as he flew, Zephyros saw the clouds were following him today. At least he knew he was in a good mood.

Angling in for a landing, Zephyros folded his wings halfway, diving down and spreading his wings at the last moment to catch himself, settling gently on the maid island of the SkyWings. He glanced around, his head tipping to the side curiously. Everything seemed the same.....

Equinox was just heading out for collecting herbs when she saw a large dragon which she first and lastly saw at the Lieutinant Announcement. She was a hatchling then, but she recognize this one's face.
And she heard that Zephyros was the new semi-god of Storms and Lighting.
"Oh, uhh, hi!" Equinox greeted shyly, shuffling up to the god and dipping her head in deep respect. "It's an honor to be in your presence."

Zephyros saw a dragoness coming towards him, and turned towards her readily, his head tipping to the side and giving her a unsure smile. He didn't remember her at all; he'd seen her around the tribe from time to time, but had never really known her name. Then she did exactly what he had been worried about. Was everybody going to treat him differently, or was this because she hadn't known him before? Either way.... "You don't have to do that,"He said, feeling a bit awkward. "It feels strange. I'm Zephyros. Can I ask your name?" He knew she probably already knew his name, but he wanted to be polite... hopefully.

Equinox rose her gaze and nodded. After a few moments, a grin twitched upon her face.
"Hi!," she greeted in a jovial tone. "I'm Equinox! Nice to meet you!"

"Equinox?" Zephyros repeated, tipping his head to the side, then allowing himself to give her a soft smile, though it probably looked awkward. He really was bad with being social... "It's a beautiful name. Are you one of the healers? Your name seems familiar to me."

Equinox smiled another joyous grin.
"Thanks! You're very nice! We've met before, remember? At the Lieutinant Announcement. Akreious is my father. I was a hatchling then." She ruffled her wings and nodded. "Yes, I'm one of the healers. I picked the rank in honor of my mother, Moka."

At her words, Zephyros tipped his head to the side, trying to remember. "Lieutenant announcement..." He was silent for a moment, then his head lifted straight up as something in his brain clicked. "I do remember you. The little pink one. You have wonderful parents. I've never had an extended conversation with Akreious, but Moka has healed me on a few occasions when I got injured while patrolling the territory."

Equinox couldn't help but give a much more vibrant smile.
"They are great dragons, and so are you," she said, nodding happily. "I'm glad you're in our Tribe, Zephyros. I promise, you have a big future ahead of you."

Zephyros dipped his head to her at her words, smiling. It almost reassured him, in a way, that at least one dragon wasn't treating him strangely. He just hoped Seraphina, and others he knew, would do the same. "Thank you," He said. "I'll do my best to live up to it."

After a long trip, Arcke had left the Skywing territory for awhile and had disappeared for a long time, since his last appearance at the Lieutenant announcement.then ever since Arcke has only thought about the tribe, specifically how his family was doing.... Equinox..... Moka... all of which was close to him, until he couldn't take it and he flew back, his trip was an month back of straight Arial flight back to Skywing territory but once he finally made it to the Capital, at first the guards almost forgot he was the lieutenant but luckily he retained his original rank.

Arcke entered the gate and landed softly on the ground uneasily with numb feelings in his paws, he immediately looked up to hear a conversation until he heard the name Equinox, Arcke jumped and ran through the grass to look up to a newly grown Equinox.

"Equinox!" Arcke yipped as he ran through the grass to his newly grown daughter, bruises and scratches throughout his body but no deadly bleeding.

Equinox stared as Akreious dashed to her. At least, she hadnt seen him in So long that she couldn't remember him.
But she'd remember that voice even if she was in the Void.
"Dad!" she cried, hugging her father dearly. "I love you!" Then she noticed his wounds. She stepped back, hissing. "Whoa, who did that to you?! I'll rip their wings off!!!"
