Two amazing children from two amazing parents (Private with Viper)

It was the end of the day, the sun was setting, casting a beautiful glow over the Firewings territory. Of course Edan had shown Viper his volcano cave and let her live in there. Hearing she was expecting he was happy as any male could be. Soaring through the skys, his gargantuan silver wings stretched out to their full length Edan flew to the nursery, two deer in his jaws for him and Viper. He was so happy he couldnt even speak. He knew that it was kind of a risk becoming mates with someone who was related to the leader but he didnt care, he loved Viper so much.


Landing inside their cave he looked over at Viper with his golden eyes. "I brought you food" he said with a soft smile and laid the two deer out in front of her. He settled down in front of her with a large smile on his face. This was the happiest moment of his life, sitting here with his mate Viper, her expecting their hatchlings. A goofy smile was placed on his maw as he looked around the place. He had done everything to make it good for her, like having his friend make stone pedestals. He put two stone pedestals around the room and they each had a blazing fire. He had also had a seawings help, yes a Seawings to put a small pool of water in the corner in case she needed it. The male had to make sure his mate was taken care of.

Viper's ears twitched from her slumber, and she opened one bright blue eye. Seeing that it was just Edan, she lifted her head off of her paws. "Thanks," she smiled warmly, then bent down and took a bite out of the prey. "You should have some, too. You're doing all the hunting, anyways." She pushed it to him. "Come on, eat up."

She sighed happily. "I'm expecting the hatchlings very soon," she said. "Though... I heard it was painful..." She winced. "But I'll do anything for my hatchlings, even if they're unborn yet." Then her mood soured a bit. "If Shadowfire hands them a grenade.... I will pound him. King, or not. Xylnthian to...."

When she woke up he nuzzled her neck gently in affection. Keeping his large wings folded against his side he nodded a bit, taking a bite of the other deer. He knew she needed to eat a lot in order to deliver healthy hatchlings. He smiled once more of the thought of him and Viper showing the leader their strong hatchlings. He knew that the leader would probably try to teach the hatchlings not the best things but he didnt care. He wanted to present his hatchlings all over the tribe. He knew his hatchlings would be demi gods or at least one would, which would make them even stronger.

As she winced he shook his head. "Yes thats what you hear from other mothers but you are strong. I know you can do it" he said trying to give her encouragement. He had also heard that it hurt horrible for the female and he hopped Viper wont be in to much pain when it starts. He chuckled at her other comment. "And I will be right there with you. Our kids are already gonna be powerful enough, they dont need Shadowfire teaching them how to set off a bomb" he said with a shake of his head but another chuckle.
