Personality: While Briar is visually charming like her mother, she is a little eccentric like her father. She is prone to mood swings and emotional outbursts, her attention swapping from one thing to another in the matter of a minute. She does keep a level head, but her emotions are all over the place. She tends to get sentimental quite often. Sometimes, she thinks of her lost parents and falls into a depression for a week. This can get in the way of her work, since she loses motivation. However, Briar can be cheered up by a nice helping of pineapples. She loooooooooooves pineapples.

Strengths:
☆Briar is a messenger not chosen for her speed, but for her durability. She's pretty tough and is able to push through a mission or fight despite pain and fatigue. Even if she's not a good combatant, she's certainly hard to kill. This is thanks to her determination and muscled build.
☆Briar considers her wit to be her best weapon. Despite her sturdy build, she is more of a thinker than a fighter. She is far more likely to outwit a dragon than physically overpower them.
☆Simply put, Briar has good ideas. She is inventive and has a mind for strategy. If she wasn't a messenger, she would make a remarkable military strategist.
Weaknesses:
☆Briar is a poor combatant. This is because she was never trained to fight.
☆She has a hard time keeping her attention on one thing. The subject of her attention changes very easily.
☆Because of her stocky build and small wings, she is not a good flyer. In fact, she travels faster on foot than she does on the wing.

Appearance: Briar is a beautiful dragon, and she knows it. Her build is stocky as she is heavily built and has a relatively short body length, and her wings are rather small in proportion to the rest of her body. She looks mostly like an EarthWing thanks to the leaf/flower-like details of her body, but she does inherit some traits from her father Grafalda, such as a pale face which looks featureless save for a mouth. Briar also has a short furred mane and long, deer-like ears.

Skills and Abilities
Normal Abilities:
☆Briar has a venomous bite which causes numbness in the area affected. The venom causes the bitten area to feel heavy like a sack of stones, making it harder to move. The effects of the venom start to wear off after two posts, and it is fully worn off after four. However, smaller species have more severe effects such as paralyzation in the area (lesser species) or even death (humans). This ability can be used once every five posts.
Special Abilities:
☆Similar to her father Grafalda, Briar can exhale a gas. However, it does not cause a fit of laughter and suffocation. Rather, the gas has a similar effect. It can send dragons to a loopy, drunk-like state which causes their movement and thought process to slow. This effect starts to lessen after one post, and after three posts, the effect is totally gone. The gas is purple in color, thus easily seen, and does not physically harm the victim. This ability can be used once per four posts.
Combat Style: Briar considers her wit to be her sharpest weapon. She fights only if it is her only option, but even then she focuses on ending the conflict by using her gas or fleeing.

Background
History: Pretty standard stuff. Briar is the youngest of her siblings, born in the last years of her mother's life. Perhaps the most surprising part of her origin is that she is the only child of Grafalda, a LightWing who was infamous for his science experiments and insanity. Surprisingly, Briar turned out mostly fine, and is not at all grotesque like her father. However, when he disappeared and Rylatha died, Briar was left an orphan. She was likely raised within the EarthWings with her uncle and brothers.
