Oh, what could she say? That she had wanted this? No, no. Such travesties, this only made things more complicated. No matter how much destruction she wrought upon this land, however many dangers that threatened these despicable beasts, she could never have back what was once hers. Her kingdom, her titles. It was lost forever to the sands of times, the destruction of her homeland.

It sickened her. How could a race as glorious as the Auroras perish, while ones as pathetic as these… Pyyrian ‘Wings, survive? They had numbers, but she had strength. Gaea found it disgusting, being forced to stay on this miserable rock. She did not even know if, outside of Aura, any other dragons of Auroran blood still lived.

Perhaps, in hindsight, Gaea should have kept that…. Oh, what was her name…. Rayla? Alive. She may have been the disgrace of a mix raced marriage, but she still had the noble blood of an Aurora. Gaea found it pretty silly, actually. These weak minded dragons, so foolish, were ready to call beasts that displayed the magnificent powers of an Aurora demi gods. Disgusting, really. When Gaea watched that dragon’s power, she knew. She knew she was the daughter of an Aurora.

Too bad she had to die such a pitiful death.

And even now, after twenty years, Gaea still felt dissatisfied. The dragoness was not dull. She knew very well that her time may soon be coming to an end. She was no longer in her pride. In her early eighties, she was not in perfect health. She had done her best to teach Aura everything she knew about the Auroras and their culture, even if she had been merely 13 or so when she had fled their great island. Gaea couldn’t accept the idea that her race was dying, this proud and noble race, that had once been powerful and strong, stronger than any pyyrian dragon.

She needed to find a way to preserve them. But how? The best she could do was save their cultural traditions and expectations. And perhaps, although degrading, get Aura an IceWing male to mate with. Who knows.

But Gaea’s mind was not on heritage right now. Rather, she was currently out hunting. Gaea’s mind was still thinking about Aura, though. She did not like leaving the dragoness alone, even though she was almost 23, and well old enough to go out on her own. Gaea did not like the idea of Aura being left to her own devices, and thus planned to only be out by the shoreline for a short time while she hunted nearby walruses.

She would walk down to the coast, huffing as the icy sea air hit her face. She then began to walk along the rocks, her eyes scanning the ocean water as it continually hit against them, mind focused, and attuned to any slight movement she noticed.

it was like any other day, He had just been flying out in the sky admiring the the land below him. It was the most he can do to take his mind of what was happening in the mainland.

even if he was a rouge, He still felt bad for the ones who suffered. to see the tribes fall into disarray and chaos, even if he could help what could 1 dragon even do?. he thinks to himself.

As he continues to fly, he finds that he is near the coastline, tho there was nothing special about it he chooses to land. He slowly descends down and lands softly on the sandy shoreline. it was cold but it didnot bother him. he sat and stared at the waves.

he lets his mind wonder, letting the calm atmosphere help him relax. but the experience was short lived as he snaps back to reality as a figure caught his eye.

The cold wind did not bother Gaea. As a proud dragoness of noble lineage, she was used to the cold. It was a pleasant experience to say the least. Invigorating, almost. If only her gods’ forsaken cousin would feel the same. It was like that cursed tropical blood of hers made her a wimp to the elements. Tainted blood. But at least she was purer than most of the welps around here. Even the so called ‘ice dragons’ were weary of the storms.

That being said, the sky was relatively clear today, blue and bright, cheerful, almost betraying the fact that the continent was overrun with savage beasts right now. And no, she was not talking about the tribe dragons. Gaea, admittedly, enjoyed it. She had not seen such a beautiful day in a while. Though that did not change her grumpiness over their current situation.

After walking a bit over the rocks, Gaea came to a stop by the edge, watching as the water seemed to breath, inhaling and exhaling with each wave that crashed against the rocks beneath her. She scanned the water, carefully positioning herself in a way so that once she jumped the rocks wouldn’t scratch against her scales.

She was searching for sea lions, walruses, and other aquatic prey. She didn’t initially see anything swimming about in the depths, and began to think she might have to fly off into sea to get a decent catch, a low growl coming to her throat. Not that she hadn’t expected such an outcome. Things seemed to rarely go her way in this cursed place.

However, before Gaea could make a move, she spotted something out of the corner of her eyes. A dragon. An IceWing, no less, judging by his scale color. Instantly, Gaea’s senses were alert. Why had she not smelled this stranger approaching? Perhaps the wind? Nonetheless, she was completely exposed, out here on this jetty. She needed to get off the rocks and find the higher ground.

Gaea’s immediate thought was that this must be an IceWing soldier, come to patrol. Although confident in her skills, Gaea wasn’t particularly interested in getting into a fight. And she didn’t want to provoke the rage of the whole tribe by fighting him off and claiming this area as her territory. However…

Well, let her get to higher ground first, and then come to a conclusion. Leaping from the rocks, Gaea flew up into the sky, watching as the stranger landed by the beach. It seemed the fellow had been oblivious enough to her up until she took flight. She watched him for a moment, and then flew over to some higher up rocks nearer to the forest, about several hundred yards from the shoreline where the stranger had landed, keeping a careful eye on him.

As he saw the figure he just stood still. He tries to get a better look at who or what the figure is. he tries his best not to look like he had notice the figure, as he thinks that action would startle or make the figure flee.

so he just stood there not moving, acting as if he had not even notice the creature. as he closely tries to make out what the figure is, he finds that it was a dragon. the dragons scales were of dark ice color, so it must be an icewing. he thinks to himself. the dragon was about 35 ft tall, so it was half his size.

He thinks to himself what the dragon might do, as he is clearly out in the open he doubts that the dragon didnot notice him before he noticed the dragon. still he acted as if he did not know the prescence of the dragon. if the dragon should attack him, he could use his shield to block it, Tharasis was 65 feet tall compared to the dragon who only stood at around 35 ft tall. so he was not worried about being attacked.

as the figure left his field of vision, he waited for a min. then he turned around and scanned his surrondings looking for the dragon.

Gaea was too far away now to really tell how that dragon had reacted to her, though it seemed that he hadn’t been particularly hostile. She scoffed. So much for IceWing guards, she thought. The absent-minded pups were probably all so airy and clueless that they didn’t know what was going on half the time, like the mindless idiots they were. How pathetic, that such creatures that might look so similar to a proud Aurora, would fall apart the way that they had.

Well, Gaea would not allow this welp to disrupt her hunting. Would be a breach of her honor. If the fellow dared to interfere with her search, or steal her prey, she would kill him, and not even bother to ask questions. After all, in this feral world, every second you waste on breath is a second lost to time and a potential time for the enemy to strike, at least as far as the warhardy Gaea was concerned.

Letting out a gruff snort, she shot back into the air, and began flying near the more hilly, sharp rocks of the cliffside, her eyes scanning the water. The cold, dry air nipped at her scales, and she squinted a bit as the wind blew in her face, driving her against the sky tide. But still, even as she flew by the shoreline depths, she spotted no movement.

She didn’t even bother to flash a look back at the stranger, displaying that she had no qualms or interests in him, at least, not for now.

As he looked throughout the area he saw nothing, "maybe that dragon had noticed me" he thought to himself. he waits for a few more seconds before he stood up. As he stands up a small figure caughts his eyes, quickly he flaps his wings and takes off from the grounds.

he flies low to the ground to avoid being spotted as he tails the dragon. He's curios as to who this dragon is, its not common for him to meet other icewings anyways so this is an opportunity for him to meet another dragon of his kind. a simple conversation will be enough he thinks to himself. he thinks as to what can happen should he confront this dragon. would the dragon be friendly to him?, would the dragon attack him? or would it flee from him. those are the questions he ran in his mind. "only one way to find out i guess" he says to himself.

This Pitiful Life [Private w/Tharasis] Empty Re: This Pitiful Life [Private w/Tharasis]

Gaea wasn’t paying much attention to the beach. She couldn't be bothered. She wouldn’t worry about pathetic worms like that as long as they didn’t bother her. Instead, she focused most of her attention towards hunting, her scales and crystalline body shimmering in the midday sunlight. Judging by the sky, it was getting later, as it seemed the sun was beginning to set. Twilight was fast approaching them. But Gaea didn’t mind this. She had hunted at midnight before, and in the freezing cold of the winter no less. She didn’t mind.

She swooped and lowered her body closer to the ocean surface, staying about thirty to twenty feet above the water, eyes racing across the smooth surface and through the white, green, and blue of the sea waves. The smell of salt filled her senses, plus the cold, icy sting of the sea spray. Some might find it uncomfortable, debilitating even, but she perhaps found it thrilling. As she felt the water hit her face, droplets would freeze upon contact, creating a thin shield of ice across her face.

But even for all her searching, there was still no sign of prey. Cursed monsters. The things had seemed to have taken over every corner of this planet, dominating its food chain, a little too well. There was hardly any prey for the rest of them. Absently, Gaea wondered if she would need to go farther out into sea to catch herself a meal. But such a trip would be far more exhausting than it was worth, and she quickly shook the thought of it from her head. No, she had to stay near the shoreline, as much as her stomach desired her to extend her search. At the very least stay within sight of land, be it the mountains of the IceWing territory or the rogue beach side.

As Gaea would swoop and fly at speeds reaching up to 50 mph, she began to feel as if she was being watched. Carefully, she looked behind her. She saw the beach vanishing into the distance, but she also thought she saw a flash of movement much closer to her. Senses suddenly alert, she stopped, beating her wings in midair. Her stop was so abrupt that the wind around her seemed to scratch against her scales in protest, and whoever was following her might be surprised enough to speed right past her.

Carefully examining her surroundings, she sniffed the air. Although the cold made it a bit difficult, combined with the sea scent, she could smell dragon. She also saw something that appeared to be following her, if at a distance. She snarled. Gaea couldn’t tell if it was the same IceWing she had spotted on the beach or not, but she didn’t much care. She’d show this stranger what she thought of him following her.

“Come any closer and slice your wings off!” Gaea snapped at the stranger once he got within twenty or so feet of her. She immediately drew her claws, and her tail thrashed back and forth in expectation. She did not know what this dragon’s goal was, but she was not in the mood to be bothered by the likes of his kind.

"Come any closer and ill slice your wings off!" the words the dragon said caught Tharasis off guard, how could have this dragon noticed him?. maybe the dragon sensed him or had picked up his scent. He kept his distance from the dragon making sure not to get too close for her to whip him with her tail.

he thinks of what he should say to this dragon, she is already acting defensive. If Tharasis still projects himself as an enemy to her things could get bad for both of them. He flies closer within 10-15 feet away from her, still keeping his distance to avoid the tail. but just close enough so he could talk. " Sorry if i startled you, But im not here to hurt you or anything like that! " he exclaims. hoping that she would not act aggresive agienst him. this is one odd way to talk to someone who i have not met. He thinks to himself. but he wont let the oportunity of meeting another icewing slip by his claws again, He needs to show that he is not a foe to her " Can we land first?!?, not that i mind fliying but its better to talk in land rather than in the air. But thats just my personal opinion. " He says trying his best to sound calm and none aggresive to her.

he dosent know what shes capable of, even if shes is only half the height of him. but Tharasis isnt the one to underestemate ones capabilitys and skills, and should anything happen Tharasis is ready to cast his shield.
