First topic message reminder :

I'm sick of being tossed around by storms....
Snowscale painfully got up, his left foreleg bent at an odd angle. He snarled quietly to himself and promptly fell down a hole into a large, spacious cavern.
"Oh fantastic..." he muttered under his breath, fully aware that he was dead meat if a monster found him.
He wandered for a few moments, keeping his injured forearm close to his body. After a moment he could take the pain no longer, and fell to the ground with a roar of dismay.

Destella was quick to help the hatchling up, coiling her her tail around the little one to do so. She then nuzzled the dragoness again, holding her up this time. She then spoke in as calm of a voice as she could.
”It’s ok little one.”

The feathered serpent then looked over at her mate, a slight smile coming to her face. ”You know,” Des started, clearly happy, ”she’s going to need a name.”

"Yeah... she is isn't she?" Snowscale thought about that for a moment. "How does Crescylla sound?"

”Crescylla?” Destella thought for a second, looking at the little hatchling. She then slithered next to her mate.”That sounds like a great name.”

Crescylla peeped again and curled up between Destella and Snowscale. "She's cute, isn't she?"

Destella looked down at Crescylla, smiling at the hatchling, before nuzzle her mate. ”Yes She is.” Something then came to the dragoness’s mind, something that she just started worrying about. ”Do you think we’re ready for this ?”

Snowscale thought about that as well. He honestly had never thought about that. He was just about to reply when he heard a strange puff sound.
"You have no idea how good it is to see you two again."
"I say we never go back there again."
Snowscale turned around, and to his surprise, the Vilidin lay sprawled on the cavern floor.

Des followed Snowscale’s lead as she turned to see Rayg laying there. She gave him a curious look before hearing his response. She gave a nod before saying ”Agreed,” then looked down to check on Crescylla.

Shade shook off his fur, and looked around at his companions. "Anyone with serious injuries?"
No one did.
Crescylla, meanwhile, was nowhere to be seen.

Destella’s eyes widened as she began looking around. Where had the little dragoness gone. Her feathers went a little pale as she continued to look for the hatchling. ”Crescylla? Where’d you go?”

A peep came from underneath Destella's wings, and Crescylla was clinging to one. She chirped happily when she was found, and reached out towards Destella.
She fell down, however, and accidentally hit her head on the stone floor. She looked startled for a moment and then started to cry.
Might just want to teach her how to walk.

Des smiled when the she found the hatchling again, thankfully that Crescylla hadn’t run off. Then the hatchling fell again. She wrapped around the little dragoness, helping her up as she did. The dragoness then began trying to calm the hatchling down.

Destella then heard Snowscale, though his lips didn’t move. She then looked at him, then back at Crescylla. ”Walking’s more something you do, Snowscale.”

Snowscale started, having forgotten in the moment about the Vilidin stone. "Okay, I guess....
I'm just worried she'll keep falling down, and she might hurt herself and..."
"Whoa, easy there." Shade walked over. "They usually have a hard time of it at first. She'll learn, don't you worry."
Crescylla clearly didn't agree, for her wailing continued.

Destella continued to try and comfort Crescylla. She nuzzled the hatchling slightly, her tongue flicking out for a moment. She then change the color of her feathers a few times, hoping that it would amuse the hatchling. She then looked at Shade, surprise by what he said.

She didn’t think walking would be hard. Then again, she didn’t have legs so she couldn’t really judge. ”Well, I wish I could help teach her walking, but I can’t.”

The hatchling stared at Destella, leaving off her wails and resorting to whimpering.
"My daughter used to have trouble walking at first as well. She kept falling down as well.
Tickling seemed to help." Shade glanced at Snowscale and then Crescylla for a moment, looking like he had just heard something but didn't dare say it.

Destella looked over at Shade, saying ”I didn’t know you had any children, Shade.” She then lifted her tail and tried tickling Crescylla’s stomach.

Shade smiled. "Only a daughter. With me being here, however, my chances of seeing her and my mate again are very, very low." His tail drooped visibly, and Rayg patted him on the back reassuring him.
Crescylla, on the other hand, was giggling happily. She squealed for more, causing Snowscale to start tickling her with his tail. After a moment she wriggled away from the tickles and started climbing on Destella. She lay down on Snowscale's mate's head and chirped happily.

Destella smiled at the hatchling, though she shot Shade a worried look when he talked about the odds of seeing his family again. She then spoke to him with a concerned tone. ”Shade. I-if you need to be with them, then go.”

After saying this, she noticed Crescylla climbing up her. Des looked up to see the little crystal dragon on her head. ”Are you a hat now?”

Shade hunched his shoulders. "So they don't know?"
Crescylla started to yawn, but stared at Shade as he continued.
"Destella.... Snowscale... we, ah....
Okay Rayg YOU say it. They already think you're crazy."
Rayg shrugged. "We come from another reality entirely."

Destella feathers went completely white when she heard this. She couldn’t believe it. Wait! Did that mean...? ”D-does that mean Firebrand, and the demon guy...? She then slowly moved Crescylla from her head to the center of a coil she was forming, hoping the hatchling would find it comfortable. ”And what about Crescylla?”

Shade shook his head. "Firebrand....
Or at least his full form.... sent us here. Straven was sort of forced to ally with Firebrand, but.... we don't know about Crescylla. We think she is a Pyrria native. I got a sense of slight kindred between the two undead dragons and her egg though... it's probably safe to assume that her parents were those zombies I destroyed."
"Couldn't you have brought them back to life? Like Stream?"
"They were to far gone. Their spirits were long since destroyed by the undead energy."
Crescylla yawned again and snuggled against Destella, soon snoring away as the Vilidin offered only silence, each of their minds turning over their life in a land neither dragons even knew existed.

Des was shocked by the idea of what Shade suggested. The fact that those undead dragons could have the little crystal dragon’s parents... she didn’t have any words for it. The serpent only gave Shade a sad expression before looking down at Crescylla.

Destella was at least happy to see the hatchling gently sleeping on her. The young dragoness lightly nuzzled Crescylla, light enough to not wake her. She then looked at the Vilidin before laying down herself. It was hard to imagine what they had been through, though a handful of not so clear images did enter her mind.

Snowscale didn't really know what to say. "I'm sorry you're stuck with my reality?"
"Maybe you won't be stuck here forever...
Maybe..."
A sudden jolt went through the assembled Vilidin. Shade's tail tucked between his legs, and Ronin and Rayg seemed frozen.
It was Shade who broke the tense silence with a howl of grief. "MIDNIGHT!!!!"

Destella was frightened by Shade’s sudden burst, though she did her best not to wake Crescylla. She looked at Vilidin, not knowing how to react. ”What do you mean “midnight?”

Destella gave the werewolf a sad look, but did get curious. What did Darkice mean by the First and Second Rising? Did it have something to do with Crescylla parents’ state? ”Um... Darkice, what do you mean by ‘Rising?’”
