Redemption (Open to All!)

Once upon a time, Amore had imagined herself within a world of riches, living in the lap of luxury, worshiped and praised by all of those around her. She had been willing to steal and kill in order to achieve her goals, to attain this physical happiness from possessions and greed. However, this behavior had only lead downward. Sure, it had been good in the short run, but once the deeds she had committed started weighing in on her shoulders, it had started to become something that was much to rough to bear. She had collapsed under the weight of her own ruthless negligence, and had paid dearly for it. More dearly than she'd ever thought she'd have to.

But even now, when she abandoned her life of crime, to live a more fulfilled life, she still felt empty. Something was still missing, even though she had gained everything she had ever wanted. Wealth, power. Even though she wasn't really in charge of much, and Attor did most of the work, she was still his queen. Queen of the very same tribe which she had betrayed over and over again. The same tribe which had banished her, going so far as to label her an outlaw, a thief, a bandit. Nothing but filth.

Even though she had achieved this, her mind seemed to hate her. She felt conflicted. Why was she living such a wonderful lifestyle, even after everything she had done? All the crimes she had committed that could never be taken back. But her emptiness wasn't from that. So what could it be from?

She needed to get some air. Clear her mind. On top of this, her new kingdom was in practically ruins. When the monsters had come, her world had been thrown upside down. Many of the civilians had been killed, and now what remained were either hidden up within the walls of the capital, or had fled and hidden who knows where.

Queen for less than a year and already her kingdom is in ruins....

Even though it was dangerous to go alone, it wasn't like Amore had any extra guards to accompany her. And she'd go crazy if she stayed penned up all day! So Amore would fly off, towards the royal gardens, likely belonging to Attor. It was outdoors, but it wasn't out in the middle of nowhere where she was vulnerable.

The queen would land on the dirt path that lead through botanical gardens. She took a deep breath, enjoying the scenic view. She would begin to quietly walking through the garden, trying to allow herself to relax, to calm her mind.

Even though the tribes were in turmoil.

Haneul was returning from his patrols to rest for a few minutes before going at it again. He saw a SkyWing flying away from the palace and to one of the smaller islands, the royal gardens. Ever since the monsters showed up and killed nearly the entire tribe, Attor had declared that no one was to travel alone. Haneul was the exception because he was the only Guardian. No one else had the training.

The SkyWing changed course and followed the other to the garden island. As he drew closer, he realized it was the queen. He landed behind her. "We have even fewer than we used to, but you shouldn't travel without someone with you, even if it just a citizen."

Dhelmit grumbled lowly to himself as he recounted of the past events leading up to now. So much had happen and he still tried to grasp it as reality. Monsters appeared in the world causing havoc across the lands, then the tribes merged into three different combined ones, and the Skywings now are allies to the Lightwings he only recently became part of due to...circumstances.

He only started getting used to his own tribe and now has to get used to another tribes own dragons along with his own still. That, and he didn't particularly enjoy the increased territory he would have to patrol now considering his position of being the oldest Lightwing Guardian. Though he didn't mind the alone time it would give him to think and enjoy the wind on his wings.

It was during the part of his patrol in Skywing territory, though merged he still considered it as such, noticed a dragon leave the palace. He didn't make too much note of it until he noticed another dragon veer off after the first one, both heading towards a smaller island nearby. With a small groan he veered off to investigate and shortly after landed a fair distance away from the two.

It took him a few moments to realize one of them was the Skywing Queen, from what he vaguely heard about her it fit, "I apologize for the disturbance, I did not realize who you were and did not recognize you had an escort already." He bowed slightly to Amore.

That storm seriously messed me up.... Snowscale thought as he dragged his battered body through the mountain. He winced as a rock pattered off his broken wing and sighed in frustration.
Normally you have no troubles with storms, Snowscale... he thought to himself. He smelled something, like flowers, and dared hope for shelter. His nose then picked up the scents of other dragons, SkyWings like himself. He froze, knowing bad things could happen if he was found. He would be brought back, to live here again.
No, never again... Snowscale decided, turning back the way he had come. Another rock landed on his broken wing, and he involuntarily let out a yelp of pain.
Oh, crap.

Amore was taken aback slightly when she heard the sound of wingbeats behind her. It was unusual for others outside of Attor to come to the royal gardens, which were nestled right behind the palace. She glanced up, spotting none other than the SkyWing guard Haneul. Her temporary tension seemed to drain, and she offered a small smile towards the dragon as he neared, deciding to sit down and wait for him to land.

"Ah, Haneul, an unexpected pleasure to see you." she said kindly, slowly coiling her tail around her forepaws. The first concern Haneul seemed to express, though, was the fact that Amore was wandering outside alone. But Amore herself wasn't worried. She was calm, if not distraught, but for different reasons than she probably should be.

At Haneul's concern, she simply whistled a small note, getting up, and gently retrieving a small red and white zinnia from the bushy flower garden that was by her paws. "Look at this flower, Haneul. Look at all its beautiful colors and eloquent design? See how it is satisfied with simply being. It does not worry about what's to come, nor does it worry about what has already happened, it simply is...." she would explain soothingly.

She carefully placed the flower on the ground, her ears perking up once again at the sound of more wingbeats. Upon lifting her head to examine her surroundings, she noticed a dragon she didn't recognize. A stranger, but a LightWing no doubt.

What caught her off even more was when the dragon bowed to her upon recognition. She was still getting used to the fact dragons were going to recognize her but she couldn't recognize them. Still a bit uncertain, she carefully nodded her head towards them, permitting them to rise.

"Ah... yes..." she started to say, still caught a bit off guard, and also absently wondering what a LightWing was doing this far from the palace.

Another noise came to her attention, this being the sound of falling rocks, followed by a shout of pain. Her ears immediately perked up, and she glanced around, her heartbeat racing a bit. It was certainly not every day that the gardens would be so lively, especially not when they were suppose to be private...

Zeoldrerrirth was flying around the Skywing Kingdom, seeing the wonderful sights of the world. He had no idea that the Skywing Kingdom was this beautiful! How wonderful it probably was to be a Skywing, or at least, half a skywing.

Zeoldrerrirth decided to go visit the garden, since it waas very active at the time. He flew to the entrance, making himself land as non lousy as possible. Surprisely, it wasn't that bad after all. Ok nevermind, maybe he had to think twice of that, because he almoat tripped into the flowers. Luckily, he didnt even touch a petal.

He straighten himself, and walked aroubd the garden, seeing the butterflys and the bees happily flying around. There was also cherrie blossums. Pink and white. There were a few squrriels or two, but he knew not to eat in Skywing terrirtory anyway.

"But sire, your hurt! You've been out there for a month and-" The Honor Guard, one out of a large group of specially trained royal guards, was trying to stop the king from moving through the palace.

The past month was nonetheless ruthless for the Skyking Attor, and his personal Honor Guard, in the Light Kingdom. The Lustrous Jungle has had strange reports of massive and dangerous creatures, if not both, lay ruin to patrols and guardians and kill anything that wasn't its own. Attor thought it an invasion, perhaps the Night or Sea Kin grew bold and decided to expand territory beyond sea. To dismay, the twenty one Sky dragons ran into a large horde of unknown creatures and was left to servive in the horrors the jungles now, well, had harbored. LightWings were called upon to serve, both Light and Sky Kin forced to work together. There was push then give in the struggles that took place, there was a massive storm that engulfed tge land for days which ravaged both kingdoms and their territories. Alone from the unsuspecting storm very few had perished, many were left to rebuild their homes whilst the good sovereign, and his forces, stopped havoc in the Light Kin land, only to reach Sky borders.

What was into a week of investigation turned into bloody and brutal skirmish against these monsters, Attor was already ridden with grief that his egg, what waz meant to be a female dragon, Yama, died before hatching due to health complications. The battle infuriated him, combined with this grief, made him berserked, and as the fiercest of the storm struck the king and his forces made a large leap, catching the wild monsters in their own frenzy and killed every last one of them. No one, not even the Honor Guard had seen Attor in such a bloodlust, only sated when the storm had passed even after the month-long battle, and even after then he made sure every creature that was not dragon had been killed, greater and even lesser.

Many had been lost during the monster's invasion, during the storm even, half of the Lustrous Jungle was laid to ruin as well as a large portion of SkyWing land, but it seemed only the storm had caught the kingdoms and not the invasion. A sign that perhaps not all gods strayed from their worshipers, Attor to be exact as he prayed continuously that both, not the Sky or Light alone,but both had survived the invasion. To his dismay both suffered the invasion.

Once he returned the king saw the damage. His main objective was, unfortunately, was to settle down those of "political power" from acting out of fear. The Council if Wings to be precise. Once he arrived to the kingdom through the streets many had bid the sovereign and the remaining Honor Guard, 2 of them, a warm welcome: however tge welcomes were too hollowed and filled with sorrow and grief. All had lost someone and many more.

It was when Attor returned to the palace that he needed to worry about Amore, his queen. The second goal was to count up the amount dead and hunt the remaining monsters, after a quick rest of course! Attor still had pieces of his scale-like armor missing, many gashes that had closed and a tail near crippled from slicing a giant snakes throat. His hind left leg was cut deeply, luckily it was patched up but his righ front was hurt from a major break, still he walked on it, toughing out the pain which was difficult, but after getting a hold of a good healer and some rest and the break and anything should heal up in no time

Either she would be angered that Attor left without much word or she simply cared not. Oh well, he thought, time to face the singer.

"I am quite fine Nevex, you need the rest. Head back to the barracks and heal up, you deserved it." Attor cut the young guard from speaking, sounding soft and comforting like he usually is, inside though he just wanted to fall in his bed and die there, figuratively speaking. He still harbored the grief of his egg though, but hid it in his mind. Still, he could feel the excitement for when his little hellion would hatch, a ghost that lingered inside the carcass that was Attor.

"Do not make me order you young one." Attor added. The young dragon bowed and took off slowly, feeling the affects of the battle, and so did Attor as he made his way pass the large doors, the guards snapping to attention as the sovereign passed tgem and into the head of the gardens.

Attor made his way through the gardens, og gods why it was so beautiful and peaceful he knew not, but somehow it was remained untouched by the invasion. He took his time, relieving the stress from his from leg by lifting it up, then setting it down. He would have to limp, little to no pressure to make sure it does not get worse.

Hanual, a good sight, Amore, an even better one... But there was another dragon he had not known. By appearance it definitely was not Sky nor Light Kin. He could guess Night, as the appearance of thus dragon was reminiscent to their kind, but for now he was only guessing. He had not his crown, lost in the battle , or should he say, stabbed inti the gut of a foe. Headbutts were effective in certain situations, especially if you are about to be devoured by a giant snake. But without much thought nor care, Attir left the crown, and luckily his yellow Moonstone remained in his chambers.

The good sovereign approached the out-of-place dragon and asked to him, or her, "A bit far from home aren't we?"

Attor was ready for a fight, granted it looked like he stoof there looking at the dragon, he was tense. He did not want this here and now, he wanted the dragon to leave...

He already has to deal with a massive body count and the Council's petty spasms of outbursts they called "order." And what now? Outsiders coming and going as they pleased? Attor was pleasant most days, but today he was brief and neutral to any who is not Sky nor Light Kin. He was overall exhausted, wounded, saddened and still angered with whats happened in this past time.

"Huh?" He turned his bone body to look at the Lightwing King. He knew that he was in Lightwing Terrirtory, but he never expected for the King of Lightwings to be here. What should he do? Should he leave the Skywing Garden, because the King looked tense. Or should he explain his reasoning on why is he here? Many questions and thoughts filled his mind as he looked at him.

Then he thought. He should just bow down to the King and greet, even if Zeoldrerrirth is a Lightwing or not. The king knew more than him anyway, so probably it was the best way to face this situation.
Zeo didnt know how Lightwings or Skywings bowed down to there Kings or Queens, I mean like come on, hes a weird looking bone Nightwing that a wizard created.

He bowed down as best as he could, hoping that something good comes out of this. "Zeoldrerrirth is the name, Your Majesty. Im no intruder, nor a spy." His glowing light in him dimmed a bit. "I just came her to enjoy your Gardens, Your Majasty. If you wish me to leave, then i will do so as you please"

He gulped, bracing for the music.
