Trick or Treats ! (Event thread)

(And the event is there! At first we'll wait for everyone to drop their children by Rhune and any other Caretaker that will help him keep them in check, and once everyone will be ready we can begin the festivities ^^)

It was a rather chilly night. The times where the weather would be cold was coming again. Rhune was barely familiar with the concept of seasons, considering he had lived his whole life locked into a hot underground, and that chilly weather was affecting him a lot. Well at least he knew there would be fires around to warm him up when he would be inside...
But yet the young Caretaker didn't refuse when he was proposed to lead a group of children for a festive event. Halloween it was named. Even less than seasons Rhune wasn't yet familiar with all the customs that happened during the year, so he actually didn't know what that Halloween was. All he knew was that he was supposed to lead the children to different caves along the cliff, and that other adults would handle what would happen inside those caves.

It was far from his home, the Earthwing caverns, but the change of scenery felt pretty good. The spot that had been chosen was a plain surrounded by cliffs which offered many unoccupied caves. Many other dragons came and began to settle in the caverns, probably setting up the event that was to come. Many also left their children to Rhune, and it wouldn't be long before he would have his paws full of them - all he could hope was that he wasn't the only Caretaker around, or his job would end up hard. Not to mention all those little ones seemed highly excited about the event... This was definitely making Rhune even more curious. He couldn't wait to see what the event would be! It wouldn't be long by now. The sun was starting to set, and he had been told to begin at nightfall.

[Northera]

Northera was being given a long lecture by her mother, Artemise, about what she had to do. It had been fifteen minutes since the two dragons had arrived, and Artemise had spent the time telling Northera what to do, and what not to do. "Stay in Rhune's sight. Don't wander off and stir up trouble. Don't--" Artemise was interrupted by a very loud yawn coming from Northera, who said, "Yes, mom, I get it. Behave, don't do anything naughty, obey Rhune, don't start any poke assaults on anyone. Can I go now?"

Artemise, at last, relented. "All right then. Have fun, my dear. Help me watch over Olwen, Dion and Aeolus, will you?" The semi bent down to plant a kiss on her child's forehead, before straightening and giving Northera a small smile. "Have fun, then!" Northera returned her mother's smile, then turned and started trotting towards Rhune. "Hey there!" she greeted her caretaker for the day - or rather, night. "My mom Arte told me that your name was Rhune. Mine's Northera. Nice to meet you!" She bowed, aware that her mother's eyes were still on her.

[Zaroc]

A rather large shadow darkened the grass, and the owner of the shadow was Zaroc.

He glided in to land, having to take a few steps on the ground to actually stop. Being a heavy weight had it's problems. All strength and no speed or well, landing perks.

He extended a wing and Aeolus slid down it, tumbling onto the grass and landing headfirst into the ground. Zaroc rolled his eyes, chuckling, as his son stood to his claws, shaking himself from head to tail.

"Now, remember what I told you?" he asked Aeolus. His son nodded hurriedly, eyeing Rhune, the caretaker, with glee. Zaroc shook his head. "Aeolus."

Aeolus looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah dad, I got it! Stay in Rune's sight and stir no trouble!" he exclaimed, imitating his old man's deep voice.

Zaroc grinned. "Alright, go on, so." And with that, Aeolus was off.

Zaroc bowed his head to Rhune, offering him a smile, before he approached his mate. "They'll be fine," he said without looking at her, chuckling. "Tis' good they get out at a young age. Make some friends."



Aeolus scampered towards Rhune, glancing at his sister. He went right up to him. Daddy had given him a good description. Look for a green dragon with black chest plates. How Daddy knew this was beyond the young one. His dad had probably researched the whole thing. Who was partaking, who was caretaking, that sort of thing.

"When do we start?!" he demanded, grinning.

"Aeolus! Manners!" Zaroc called from afar.

Sighing, Aeolus looked up at Rhune properly. "Hello, I'm Aeolus. It's nice to meet you, you're.. Rhune, right? Daddy said to look for a big green fellow with black things on his chest." he gestured to his ghostly-eyed father with a wing and then grinned.

"Northera! Are you scared yet?" he asked his sister, smirking.
