LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
The First night towards something new...
Devi had called upon the tribe to start preparing for a feast, only a select few knowing the reasons behind it as he was going to announce that he was in fact calling upon Aurelian to be his Queen, a time for celebration for both the couple along with the tribe. The Feast was ready, on a cool summer evening the main event was held on the Lightwing plaza. With foods ranging from hunted meats, fresh vegetables & fruit including fresh fish from the lakes. As usual the dragon knights were the guests of honour for protecting the kingdom, even some of the hunters creating batches of their fine punch which would certainly knockout any large guardian with just a few swigs. The area was perfectly setup with tables and lanterns, it was the most idea place for the announcement. Devi worried about the tribe's reaction but he kept it hidden from Aurelian, with her reputation as an assassin some would say that its a merge of peace and chaos yet Devi knew that she didn't choose to be that way, along with her wanting to change.
As the sun started to fade in the distance Devi was pacing inside the palace as he waited for Aurelian, along with preparing his words to the tribe. Large gatherings always made him feel nervous yet luckily he was used to it, but he knew Aurelian would suffer as she didn't like big crowds especially them all looking at her. Calling out to one of the sentries "Are the preparations in place? Okay.. could you get Seyn for me" sighing slightly as he returned to pacing around in his quarters, he felt the need to speak with the most senior of the knights.

Raak-tolIs moved from one side of the plaza to the other, making sure his ice sculptures were prefect. It wasn't everyday the LightWIngs had a festival, so the CItizen was happy to have such an occasion to show off his work. Raak had spent the whole day making a sculture for each of the tables and one large one to sit in the middle of the room. Of course, this meant he would spend more time tending to them than socializing tonight, but he did't mind. He could multitask if he had to. As Raak finished, he overheard Devi telling a sentry to fetch Seyn. He followed the sentry out of the plaza and made small talk until it was time to part ways. Raak went to his den to rest for a few minutes and grab a few tools.
After a quick rest, he filled a satchel with some tools and made his way back to the plaza. Perhaps he could grab a few of those fish he saw laying out.

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
Today would be an important day for the Lightwings. Seyn was getting himself ready in his room, having gotten back from a patrol recently. He had taken a good bath, making sure to have cleaned every single of his scales, and was now polishing them to make sure they would properly reflect the light. As the Semi God of the Sun, the least he could do was to appear shiny, right ?
The sentry knocked at his door when he was almost done. Inviting the dragon to enter, he rather casually finished his polishing, listening to the sentry as they told him Devi was calling for him. He nodded and stood up, having finished his preparations.
The golden dragon entered the hall, the lights of the room reflecting on his scales. With enough luminosity, Seyn was indeed looking like a being of light.
"Good evening, Devi. I see the preparations are going on nicely." he greeted the leader, smiling at him.

Smiling towards Seyn as he arrived, noticing his shining scales. "Evening Seyn.. Yeah pretty much everything is in place.. I've called upon you because I felt I could use your wisdom. Do you think I've doing the right thing? Like I'm afraid that the tribe won't like an assassin as a queen.." sighing slightly as he worried for what the tribe would think, not that it really mattered he had strong feelings for Aurelian. Yet he didn't want to hurt the tribe, hopefully he would get his chance to set things right tonight.

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
Aurelian paced, her tail flicking nervously behind her. She was still in a room to the right of where her new mate was, and her scales gleamed from their polish. She had ensured to remove any and all grim from them. Her fur that she had was brushed through, but she couldn't stop herself from shaking. Aurelian was too worried to really do anything aside from pacing. After all, she was going to be standing in front of a whole heap of people, everyone was going to be staring at her and judging Devi and herself...
Aurelian groaned and shook her head. An assassin? Murderer? For Queen? The people are going to LOVE this...
Aurelian groaned, shaking her head to herself. Now wasn't the time to think about that! Checking in the mirror a final time, her pearly scales gleamed in the low light. She couldn't prepare herself any further so she took a deep breath in, before nudging the door open slightly to try and spot her king. After she had, Aurelian swallowed hard, watching him through the small crack as her nerves caused her body to shake violently. Buckle up Aurelian! It's going to happen if you like it or not! Besides, the LightWings could really use a celebration... Aurelian thought bitterly, before retreating back into the room, whining quietly as she wanted to approach Devi, but honestly was too nervous to.

Seyn couldn't help but chuckle at Devi's question. The Golden dragon went next to the king and put a paw on his shoulder, almost like a father would do.
"Devi, you have already made your choice long ago. It is time to cut down the chains that bind you to your doubts. Yes, Aurelian is an assassin, and yes, people are going to wonder why her. But will they be angry or fearful about it? I doubt it. Devi, your people trust you. They know you wouldn't chose a cold hearted monster as your mate. We trust you with the many choices you take for the Tribe. It is now time for you to trust us for the support we give you." he rather calmly told the king.
A smile stretched on his face as he was about to add something else, but he refrained from doing so. He didn't have the heart to tell him that people wouldn't be too surprised either. Two lovebirds like them couldn't exist without a few rumors going on, and what more of crunchy news that the fact the King was in love with an assassin? Most people would simply learn the rumor was true rather than actually learning it...

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
In previous times, it was rare for a devoted guardian to participate in something that will pull them from their posts. Especially with harsh times such as this, it was vital for any tribe to be ready for any surprise attacks humans would throw at them. Even if this event was to be important or special involving her own leader, it could also be a time where anyone would amount an attack and strike when their defences were down. But well, with that same logic, who knows who had slipped through their borders and would be lurking in the leader’s shadows before a fatal strike would end another reign of the Lightwings. She knew not of the details, but was heavily encouraged to go. The very message was beyond what one would consider a suggestion, and she was even met with a few colleagues of her own who notified her that she was selected to be the present in the celebrations. If anything, her first instincts was to decline. But if she must go, the only thing that would every put her away from her post was to protect the leader.
If she had to be honest, she did not like how lacking the number of guards were around the plaza. She had no satisfaction over the fancy decorations or the statues that sit on every table. Towards food, it was hard for her to judge as she rarely cared for what she ate. While Devi, the Lightwing leader, made himself present during the preparations, Vaara ensured she stayed close to him. Much was discussed about sending forward Seyn and, unbeknownst to her, she overheard what the event would be of. An assassin for a queen? To her personally, she had no qualms with whatever choice the leader makes. Not like anything she said would matter at this point. But this certainly broke the tradition of how leaders selected their mates. Normally they preferred those who value honour and chivalry over mindlessly killing the target with whatever means from the shadows. To Vaara, she knew the only assassin within the Lightwing ranks was Aurelian. Devi and Aurelian? History was truly a story filled with interesting events, and she would like to live long enough to see how the two would cement themselves in the pages of the Lightwings.
However Devi planned to bring this out, Vaara would stand by his words and enforce them. Even if it meant she had to draw her blades. The very thought of exerting her aggression to her own people was haunting enough. Even then, this was her first time after the longest while as far as she could remember, to made herself present before a festival. She did not know what to do then. Stand around eating and chatter with one another? No. She must not. Vaara kept her head down, the memories of her fallen comrades coming back to rake at her heart. She would gladly be the only one hiding in the shade by herself, if it meant she could cast aside her emotions or bond with another, so in death, none would suffer. But anything else? She could… dance. But towards this many people… it was like another battlefield but with herself against the thousand eyes. Why did she come here?
Huffing a sigh to reassure herself, Vaara followed the leader wherever he went, keeping her eyes around those preparing the celebrations as she scanned for anything suspicious.

Sighing to himself as he turned towards the other room which he knew Aurelian was getting ready, "Yeah... your right Seyn.. as always, will Hyruu be coming along?" Walking over towards the door connecting to Aurelian's room "Aurelian? You almost ready?" tilting his head slightly as he didn't notice her behind the door.

Seyn nodded at Devi as he seemed to acknowledge his advice. He would have liked to do more to reassure the leader, but this was something he had to go through by himself. At his next question though he shrugged.
"Maybe he'll come. He's a big boy now, I'm not really monitoring him around." he said, chuckling.
He then noticed Vaara arriving in the room, visibly not knowing what to do.
"Hello, Vaara. How's your day been ?" the semi-god asked the guardian.

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
Aurelian almost winced as Devi called her name, asking if she were ready. Nerves and uncertainty built up in her and, not really knowing what to do, Aurelian began to pace. She growled quietly at her own actions, trying to put a giant cap on her emotions. Repeatedly, Aurelian had to remind herself that this was also for her beloved mate. This was for Devi as well as herself and, if she had to be a part of the center of this whole celebration, so be it.
Inhaling slightly, Aurelian would walk back to the door and use her paw to push it open. Straight away, she would somewhat go behind Devi, to half block her form from others far back in the room. "Ready is one word for it... I'm just incredibly nervous." Aurelian told him quietly, keeping her voice low. She didn't see the need for some of the decorations which some of the LightWings tried to insist that she wore. Instead of anything fancy, she would simply be herself. "Greetings Seyn... Vaara..." She mumbled, already nervous at the growing crowds.

She watched as her leader was on edge, the room he stood outside of was where Aurelian went to prepare for this event. If he were any other dragon, she would have demanded them to be on their way and let her have her peace. But with leadership, it was also like an excuse to do whatever he pleased. Then again, he was worrying too much about something regarding Aurelian. No matter what, she kept herself quiet and would speak only when asked.
Vaara did not notice the semigod nearby until he addressed her. Two highly important figures graced her with their presence, and what honour it was for her to stand here to be their guard. She knew very little of the semigod, and she gave him a formal bow. Her day was very much the same as yesterday and the days before. When off duty, she would be in her den licking her wounds and mourning for those she could no longer see. A pawn without any purpose for herself, but to serve the tribe. As it always been, she answered lightly.
Just then, her ears perked to the door creaking open to reveal Aurelian, lavished with many bright ornaments that, too the unwary, would make her a princess of day and night. But to Vaara, it was just a little too much for her to absorb. The nervous expression she wore betrayed the pretense of what was meant to be beautiful but now was so artificial, it was like a dragon trying to be a flower. Vaara closed her eyes, the memories of the few ornaments that decorated her horns flashing before her. Next to her was another Lightwing. She was happy. The face of her lover, nothing more than a white blur as she had long forgotten what his name even was. She had to be strong. Her leader needs her protection. She looked up with a proud chest and bowed to Aurelian. Queen Aurelian. You are as beautiful as you are lethal with your claws. Again with a neutral and calm voice. The least she could do was give her a complement, perhaps to help ease her.

Raak-tolIs finally made it back to the plaza. Immediately, he went everywhere an ice sculpture stood and examined it. None needed any maintance just yet, which meant the Citizen had about five minutes to grab something to eat and perhaps socialize. Well, the former wouldn't be too difficult; the food was right there in front of him, ready to be sampled. But as he looked around, Raak noticed there weren't too many around to chat with just yet. A few other CItizens had arrived behind him but they had already wandered off to marvel at the decorations. He smiled as they stopped to admire his ice sculptures. Raak grabbed a couple fish and ate them as he walked over to the pair. Surely they would want to hear more about his work. "Ah, this one here took me only an hour to create. It's simple, but elegant, wouldn't you agree? Now, these two over here took a considerably longer period of time..." Raak led the two around the room, telling about each sculpture and explaining his reasons for their designs.

Smiling softly as Aurelian entered, replying as he wanted to nuzzle her, yet didn't want to in front of the others as it would be inappropriate at the moment. "Its alright Aurelian, I'm nervous too but it will be okay" whispering into her ear. Turning his look back towards the others "Alright well every seems to be in place, lets just wait a little longer for others to arrive" smiling as he walked outside looking towards the Plaza. The event looked amazing with ice statues, lights and food for each table. Turning back towards the others "Well guys.. go help yourselves to some food, the announcement will be later as we wait for others to arrive"

As Vaara made her compliment, Aurelian inclined her head to her, her face scattered with expressions of surprise, embarrassment, and nerves. She didn't really expect such a kind remark from the fellow LightWing and it touched her heart. Maybe today wasn't going to be so bad compared to what Aurelian originally thought about the whole ordeal. "Thank you, your word are quite kind." Aurelian answered, her cheeks flushing a light shade of red.
"All we really can do now, Devi, is wait for the rest of the guests to arrive..." Aurelian trailed off, her heart catching in her throat. Unable to speak, her eyes watched a particular LightWing going around the room, showing statues off to other people who came to enjoy the celebration.
A quiet and nervous rumble came from her as several more citizens came through the doorways.
More dragons... Just what she needed to spark her desire to hide in the rafters high above them. At least, to her, it would be safe up there.

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
The loud flapping of wings could be heard approaching the door, going faster and faster and louder and louder as they approached the Plaza.
Then-
BANG!
The doors lunged forward, but didn't open as a loud thud echoed throughout the area, followed by a thud and a cry of pain, then a groan.
The voice of the clumsy dragon, of course, belonged to Atrex, the LightWing Healer.
The young Lightwing, now well known for his hilarious and ridiculous clumsiness, walked into the Plaza, clutching his armoured nose with a front wing. He was wearing his 'lucky helmet,' a beautiful thing he'd found when he visited the Queen Of DeathWings, or whatever her name was. Despite the look of pain on his face, Atrex looked decent, his scales and helmet polished to the best of his ability, his claws sharpened and clean, and the feathers on his back clipped and straightened. The perfect appearance for a celebration.
Atrex didn't know what the heck it was about, but he knew from the sounds of it that it was important, so he made the effort.
Entering the hall, he felt a few pairs of eyes on him for a few moments, and he went a bit pink as he made his way quietly towards the side of the room, not taking his wing off his snout as he rubbed it. He knew that would bruise beneath the helmet.
Raising his head, Atrex noticed several ice statues placed around the Plaza, along with several important figures in the tribe, the ones he looked up to. The semi-god, Seyn, the king, and.. Aurelian? Was that her behind Devi?
Raising his head a little more, Atrex stood on tip toe as he tried to see who it was. It must be Aurelian, he thought to himself. No other dragon popped into his head with that sort of appearance, from what he could see. He just couldn't see her face..
What was the assassin (if it was her) doing up there? Looking so.. fancy?
Atrex was a clever dragon, and he knew for a fact that there was a reason Aure was up there, but the rest was just.. beyond him.
Atrex raised a brow beneath his helmet for a moment, before turning his head to glance around the room, slightly wary of the few guards scattered around the room. There was Raak-somethingdingything, then there was Veera. Apart from the other high rankers, those were the only dragons he recognised.
For a moment, he wondered where Hyruu was, then slapped himself and focused on the current situation.
Glancing up, Atrex was tempted to fly into the rafters and stay there (he was very shy) but ignored the urge out of self consciousness and respect for the King. The racket it would take to rise a good twenty feet into the air.. and besides, he'd feel bad for staring from above, it might make everyone nervous.
So, Atrex merely stayed near the front and to the side, with a not-too-good view of the front of the room. He STILL couldn't see who it was behind Devi.. Tilting his head, Atrex's mouth tilted down for a moment in a 'Huh,' facial expression, before returning to it's normal thin line.
Taking his wing away from his snout, Atrex stood fidgeting to the side, head down, nervous about what was to come. What the heck was going on?
Then-

Hyruu went through the doors after they had been opened by the clumsy healer, attentively looking through the room. There were quite a few people out there, more than he was usually comfortable with. But Devi had called everyone here, and his father insisted he should come. It was somewhat weird that no reason seemed to have been given to anyone about the reasons behind this gathering, but what was sure was that there was quite a feast planned. He and Kyht even were the ones having caught most of the preys that were going to be showcased during the feast.
He nodded as a greeting to the people he recognized here and there, among them being the clumsy healer, Atrex, and of course the leader Devi and his own father, Seyn. But, most surprisingly, he noticed Aurelian being there, alongside with Devi, in a rather fancy appearance. That made him rather intrigued. He had talked a few times with the assassin, and they even shared a mission at some point back when that beast struck. But at no moment did she seem to be the kind to fancy such a fashion. What could be happening ?
"Good evening, son. Good job with the preys, I saw them earlier being prepared by the cooks. I can't wait to get a taste of them." Seyn greeted his son.
"Evening, father. We were lucky for a few of them. Kyht is a great huntress, and we're working pretty well together. Hunting is definitely easier with a good hunting partner." Hyruu replied.
Seyn couldn't help but get a chuckle at those words.
"Hunting partner, uh ?" he replied, his tone full of implications.
Hyruu let out a sight, deciding not to reply on that one. For a reason Seyn had been taunting him for a while because of Kyht. Speaking about which, he wondered when she would arrive...
Aakesh, as usual, made a rather loud entry by flying through the gates, going past everyone before hovering toward Seyn.
"Seyn you have it ?" he energetically asked the semi-god.
Seyn nodded at the small hatchling, smiling.
"Yes, it's in the room in the back. You're sure you'll be able to do it ?" he wondered.
"Pff of course ! It's nothing complicated for me ! Thanks Seyn !" Aakesh replied before flying off.
The small hatchling then hovered next to Devi and Aurelian, as if nothing just happened. Actually without even asking he landed on Devi's head, his favorite perch.
"So when do we begin ? I'm starving !" he asked, looking down at Devi's eyes.

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
She watched her queen carefully after she accepted the complement. Even if the queen was able to escape from her nervousness, she would quickly go back to being what she was before. It was clear to Vaara that Aurelian was not comfortable with this whole thing, but there was little the guardian could do to relieve the situation. She turned her head to the side, feeling a little flushed. Perhaps it would help her a bit if Vaara stood beside her. After all, she was to be the new queen of the Lightwings.
Before she could take another step, a loud bang echoed throughout the plaza, coming from the main doors. Instincitvely, Vaara rushed in position, putting herself in a ready stance right in front of Aurelian and Devi, her wings out to shield them, as well as showing off her long and sharp feathers to cast fear into her enemies. She almost revealed her glass blades when her ears perked to someone crying in pain, then the doors parted gently. A gold male walked in, rubbing his snout. Vaara presumed he had charged into the door for some odd reasons she doubt she would be interested in. The guests that arrived early were deathly quiet, staring at the dragon for a moment before resuming their chatter.
The dragon was named Atrex, as far as Vaara knew. She uad sustained enough injuries and visited the infirmary far too frequently to know he was among the major healers overseeing her recovery. Though with too many patients coming and going, she would not be surprised if he did not know her.
Following behind him was a rather pale white dragon, the son of the semigod, Hyruu. Vaara quickly drew her wings back together, hiding her hidden bladed feathers as she moved to stand beside Aurelian. The father and son enjoyed some light chatter, but Vaara held her tongue from speaking. Something about a hunting partner, then another Lightwing bolted in to request something from Hyruu. She barely paid much attention as she scanned the plaza again.

Kyht was currently en route, but she had no idea why. Everything she had told herself she would NOT do and she was going to a public event. Carefully avoiding the dirt and sticking to the cleaner grass, Kyht could already hear the chatter as she came within view of the main event, where it appeared nearly the entire race of light wings had converged in one place. Kyhthyr felt a pang of awkwardness hit her hard as she noticed just how much she would truly contrast in the crowd of mostly white and gold dragons. Her dark black scales were shining brightly after the wash she had used to polish herself, one of the things she had bought at the market with her earnings from hunting. As well, she was wearing a chain that strung between her two horns and laced to a head piece on her snout, completing the ornament. She had also bought one last thing, a light armor like back piece that had small hanging chains that dangled and swayed with her hips, matching the head piece. She knew nothing about how formal this event was, let alone what she should expect. She noticed, however, that she may possibly have been a bit overdone, like usual. By now she was approaching the entrance, and she prayed no eyes had seen her yet. She came for one reason; Hyruu had ask she come along. She and the other hunter had been preparing for this very day for the past couple of days, gathering specific prey for the cooks, and even once getting herbs, which Kyhthyr vowed never to do again. She had never expected to see what they had planned with their hunts other than what they saw when delivering the supplies. When Hyruu had asked, she was a bit reluctant, but the nervousness and the flattery had eventually cause her to stammer out a yes. Ever since their strange meeting, she had been as close to Hyruu as possible, he was really the only true friend she had made here. That, and she was starting to like the warm fluttery feeling she got whenever she saw him or spoke with him. She wished she could describe the sensation, but all she could think was that he was her best friend, and nothing was going to change her mind.
Orion had been dazzled by all the luxury, his new shiny bracelets Devi had FINALLY allowed him to wear were shining brightly as he pranced around, and his scales were able to blend with them perfectly, and he had a large, proud grin plastered on his face as he waltz with his golden and shining scales around the large area. Orion did give a quizzical look in the direction of a very well done black dragon at the entrance quite a ways away, worried possibly that it was a dragon from the sunrise, but that worry disappeared as he bumped straight into Seyn. Orion had seen the Demi God before, but never actually said anything to him. I swear Aakesh was here a second ago! Orion shook his head lightly then backed away. "Oh! I'm sorry sir! I'm looking for Aakesh!" Orion quipped, looking up at the much larger dragon.

Smiling slightly as he was happy to see everyone was arriving, after the surprising event with Atrex everything seemed to settle down. Curiously looking towards Aakesh as he seemed to whisper to Seyn, deciding not to ask he smiled towards Aakesh as he landed ontop of him. "Enjoy it while you can Aakesh.. soon you will be too big" chuckling slightly, spotting Orion he walked over towards him. "Hey Ori.. Aakesh is here.." gently grabbing Aakesh as he placed him down next to Orion. "You two just wait a little bit, then you can go crazy with the feast if your hungry" smirking slightly as he knew Aakesh probably would.
Shortly After he gazed towards Aurelian and Seyn as he nodded towards them, gesturing that he was about to begin. Using one of his claws he tapped against the marble floor just to grab the attention of everyone. "Welcome everyone, I would like to thank everyone for coming. Tonight we shall enjoy a feast for the tribe, along with entertainment and drink. As most of you are wondering why we are holding this event, well as it seems a rumour has spread like wildfire. I would like to confirm that indeed I have chosen a mate and... a queen. This Queen is Aurelian... For which I love with all my heart, lets us pray to the gods of creation to bring us a golden age again. Bringing light and peace within our lands and the rest of the world." Gazing back towards Aurelian as he gestured her to come up next to him, "As always... we shall celebrate, enjoy yourselves eat as much as you like. Tonight isn't just for us, its for everyone after all we are family"

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
After the madness with Atrex's clumsiness, the place seemed to settle down, and slowly, so did Atrex's anxiety levels. He watched from the sidelines, eyes bright and gold as his eyes fell on each of the dragons in the front. There was Devi, in all his glory, then there was Aurelian, polished and cleaned, Seyn, the demi god, and his son, Hyruu. Then there was Veera, in all her white and green magnificence. Okay.. Atrex had a TINY TINY TIIIIIIINY crush on her. What? She was cool! He never got to talk to her though, considering.. well, their ranks and his 'stupidity' as many dragons put it.
Atrex wondered what they all thought of him. With disgust? Amusement? Bemusement? Indifference? He didn't exactly want to stick out, but he hadn't been doing a good job of that lately..
Swallowing, Atrex looked up slightly as Devi tapped his claw on the floor. Tucking his wings into his sides, he listened carefully.
When Devi said he had chosen AURELIAN for a mate, Atrex had to stop himself from having a nervous break down. New queen? New golden ages? Was change really about to happen? Atrex didn't have a problem with her majesty, if Devi loved her, who was he to protest? It was the idea of CHANGE that made him nervous. What would happen? What was to come in the following weeks and months and years?
When Devi finished and the chatter started up again, Atrex let his mouth drop open and his eyes widen. Quickly, he got his usual expression back, and smiled.
He could tell the Queen was nervous. He could see it in her eyes. Suddenly, boldness and bravery surged through Atrex, and he slowly approached them, stopping a respectful few feet away.
He paused for a moment, before bowing, dipping his head and lowering himself a good few inches, before rising again after a respectful amount of time.
"M-My king, I congratulate y-you with your new mate, I hope you two a-are v-very happy to-together," Atrex cringed inwardly, before giving himself a mental slap and continuing, shifting his gaze to Aurelian.
"You look beautiful, your majesty, and I'm sure you'll be a great queen." Then, of course, Atrex's carefulness took over and he started talking rubbish again, eyes widening with the idea that his words could have upset Aurelian. "N-Not trying to put p-p-pressure on you or an-an-anything! I-I-I'm just sure you'll make a great queen! What with your awesome, ya know.. fighting moves," He said, doing an 'attempt' at a friendly imitation. He then grinned and giggled nervously, adverting his eyes. "A-and stuff. Um.. yeah." As he awaited their responses, Atrex stood there, looking like a shy hatchling, head lowered slightly and cheeks aglow with a soft magenta. The nervousness was clear in his eyes and body language, he just hoped they understood it wasn't actually DIRECTED at Aurelian, it was just because he was TALKING to her and her mate. His back wings were twitching nervously.

Hyruu turned his head and spotted Kyht entering the hall. His jaw almost dropped as he saw how well had the dragoness prepared herself for the event. Her black scales were polished, and numerous ornaments were hanging from her horns and sides. The grey dragon walked toward her, smiling.
"Woah, you are gorgeous today Kyht! You're going to steal the show I swear..." he complimented the dragoness.
While himself wasn't wearing any ornaments, his scales were shiny above what seemed possible for a dragon. They were so shiny they almost acted as mirrors, seeming to take the color of whatever was in front of him. Only his golden eyes remain, which were suddenly contrasting with the black Kyht would see reflected at herself.
At the announce of the reason behind the festival, chatters began to erupt within the guests of the events. Most of them seemed to be pleased with the decision, a few others didn't seemed to very anxious - no decision could make everyone happy. The reactions nonetheless seemed positive. Atrex even had the nerves to compliment the new pair - with his usual awkwardness though.
Seyn lightly tapped Aakesh's back, who simply nodded before darting away. The Semi-god cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.
"Today is a day of joy for the Tribe. May the sunset light shine through your hearts, and may our new King and Queen's love be as blindingly light as love can be! Long live the King... And the Queen!" he declared, with a strong voice.
That was when Aakesh came back to the scene. The young dragon flew from a reserve at the back, holding behind him what seemed to he a golden ribbon. Many little crystals were tied on the ribbon, making it shine a golden hue as it reflected the light of the sunset. Aakesh flew up to above the new pair, rising, before suddenly dropping for a few feet, angling back to where he came back. Suddenly he inverted his trajectory, soaring before making another loop and twist as he angled down. The maneuver was perfectly executed, and the ribbon left the shape of a heart after the young hatchling's performance. It stood a few seconds before the ribbon started to get affected by gravity, the heart falling on Devi and Aurelian's backs, linking them in a loop.
"And now the kiss!" the hatchling peeped, grinning from above the two dragons.
As if picking a signal, Seyn made something else happen. Some dragons may have wondered what was the intriguing structure that was hanging on the ceiling, seeming like a mix of metal work and crystals. All of a sudden, Seyn made a bright sun appear within the crystal. The strong light was being reflected at perfection by the metal and difracted by the crystals, plunging the room into a colorful light.

Kyht avoided the gaze of the strangely reflective dragon approaching her, but when he spoke she felt her heart leap as she flushed. Turning to him with bright red cheeks and a clearly happy smile, she giggled involuntarily, then suddenly her face contorted in confusion as she brought her nose inches from his scales, and walked around him. After a second she realized how strange it must have been and righted herself before him. "I-I am sorry! That was very strange of me... uh... So what did you... What happened? You are all reflect...y...?" Kyht continued to stare at his scales for a second before meeting his kind familiar eyes, letting out a very faint gasp and smiling at the familiarity. Before Hyruu could respond, the announcements began, and the black dragoness did her best to protectively press against Hyruu without making it obvious. All the dragons were frightening her, and she was mostly praying she would only have to speak to one dragon while here: Hyruu.
Orion happily smiled at Aakesh, but he disappeared as the announcements ended. Not like Orion realized- he was busy bouncing in place about finally getting a mother. When he did spot Aakesh again, he gazed in utter amazement as his stunt was preformed. The booming voice of Seyn startled him, but he was once again completely dazzled by yet another light show. Orion's scales, however strange, started to shimmer along with the lights and Orion wiggled in place, excited to finally eat and to show Aakesh what his scales had started doing.
As the show unfurled before her, Kyht's breath was taken away completely, and she rested her head on Hyruu's shoulder, completely unaware that it may be uncomfortable for the slightly larger dragon to have a dragon on his side. Kyht's tail as well was happily and slowly swishing behind her and causing her hip ornaments to jingle quietly.

Aurelian whined quietly at being at the center of practically everything. She wanted to hide, to go back to the darkness. To be away from the eyes of everyone around her that watched. Aurelian didn't want to be there, not at the front. Her heart pounded in her chest as other dragons came forward, her eyes dancing in fear as her mate clicked against the ground.
That was when the worst part started.
Everyone. Turned. To. Them.
Aurelian felt her gaze lower to the ground in front of the entire hall, ignoring the filled room, an almost silent purr of anxiety coming from her. She didn't want to be here. Not with everyones eyes on her. No. She didn't, she couldn't! Aurelian would almost take a stop back, but her mate began to talk. Her face flushed, her eyes wide as she tried to hide her fear. At the mention that he had a new queen, Aurelian would gently wrap her tail around his in a sign of support. However, when he finished, she couldn't be more grateful.
But no. That wasn't the end.
Seyn, their semi-god if she remembered correctly, declared that they were to live long... or something. Her mind was hazy. Aurelian could feel the start of hyperventilating as fear and nerves built up in her. She wasn't designed for this!
The device which Aakesh, her new adopted son or something Aurelian couldn't remember right now, suddenly revealed took the breath out of her. It was unique, filled with shining crystals which were perfectly shaped and made. She was intrigued by their design for a few moments, having a rather large urge to go and poke them. However, before she was able to even keep thinking about it, Aakesh cried out for the two to kiss.
In the next moment they were bathed in lights of the sunset, and Aurelian turned her gaze to Devi. Was it appropriate? Was it alright to do that? But there were so many people! What was the right thing to do? Thoughts plagued her and she looked to Devi, silent, but completely unknowing of what to do.
Aurelian was almost paralysed from fear.

Re: LightWing Festival - Union Of Light (OPEN LW)
Raising his brow as Seyn spoke out towards the tribe, only to smile softly from his words giving hope and kindness. Followed by his actions of creating the heavenly light and Aakesh's ribbon dance surrounding himself and Aurelian. Chuckling slightly as he turned towards Aurelian, whispering to her "Its alright.. hey its only fair for them" sticking his tongue out briefly as he went in to kiss her. Yet he waited for her to take the action if she wanted, tightening their tails to reassure her.
