A trot through the jungle (OPEN FOR LIGHTWINGS!)

A serene day like this was not uncommon for the Lightwing territories. The sun filtered down onto the lush jungle below, making everything a vibrant shade of green or brown. The wind blew softly from the north, not to hard but hard enough to rustle the tops of the large trees. Birds sung and squaked, puffing up their feathers and enjoying the delightful breeze.

On the forest floor, a rather long maize coloured dragon slunk around. He didn't seem to care for the noise he made when his long tail brushed by a bush, or when he carelessly cracked twigs with one of his paws. And while his movements were not the quietest by any means he was moving with a sort of serpentine grace. His wings were half folded to his side, as if he's ready to spread them out and take into the air at any time. He stopped for a second and scanned around, before ducking under a bush and appearing by a small serene pond.

It was definitely big enough to hold a few fish, but there were none of them swimming in the pool of water. The dragon let out a hum, laying down by the pond and shuffling his wings again before finally letting them rest at his sides. He lay his head down by the shallow shore of the pond, his chin inches away from the water.
