Caretaking (Eysseth mainly, but open)
The Earth King made his way through the Main Chamber of the Haven. He was headed for the Caretakers' Chamber, where the Hatchlings played. Baldirak kept a record of all the EarthWings and noticed there was one Hatchling that didn't have a name. So he went in search of his Head Caretaker; if anyone could answer his question, it would be Eysseth. It occurred to the King as he rounded the corner at the end of a tunnel, that he'd never really met Eysseth before, aside from telling her personally that her application for her position was accepted. The laughter and playful screams of the Hatchlings echoed through the tunnels near the chamber and Baldirak smiled. Such a wonderful sound, it was. He stopped just outside and watched as Hatchlings ran about, the Caretakers either playing with them or trying to get the more rowdy ones under control. He wondered for a moment if he's ever been a lawful for his parents when he was so young. After a moment, he moved inside. "Where is the Head Caretaker?"

Re: Caretaking (Eysseth mainly, but open)
Among all the hatchlings that were in the main room, a group of them seemed particularly agitated. All of them were running as fast as they could, laughing as they tried their best to catch Rhune. The green dragon was running in front of them, just fast enough to let them be dangerously close without them actually getting to him.
It was hard to tell who was having the most fun in the affair. The hatchlings were running and laughing, and Rhune was having the brightest smile you could see on a dragon. For a dragon that a few months ago could barely talk and was weak, he was showing a surprising energy and happiness. Yes, right now Rhune looked like the happiest dragon on Pyrria.
As he looked behind him to check the little ones, Rhune managed to trip on a toy that was laying there. His smile instantly morphed into a scared expression as he fell and rolled, eventually finishing on his back. Before he could recover the hatchlings leapt on him, shouting in victory.
"Got you!" one of them excitedly exclaimed.
Rhune let out a laugh, remaining on his back.
The hatchlings that were chasing him all began to yawn and lay down, exhausted after the little race. Those ones wouldn't need a story to fall asleep shortly. Another caretaker smiled at Rhune and gently started to pick the hatchlings.
"Thank you Rhune. You really can tire even the most endurant of the hatchlings! Those won't protest anymore for nap time." tge caretaker told him.
That was when Baldirak arrived. Rhune tilted his head, looking at him upside down and smiled at the king.
"Oh hey Baldirak! Eysseth is in there. But she's telling stories. To make the hatchlings sleep. It should be good soon." he told the king.

Re: Caretaking (Eysseth mainly, but open)
(This is back when she was a hatchling and not fifteen)
Prasi was running with a herd of hatchlings nipping at tails and getting her tail stepped on. Eysseth was there but so too was Rhune. Her mother was busy as usual and had left them at the day care to be watched and have fun with the other hatchlings.
Prasi actually loved being here with the other youngsters. She hated being around the nest with her mother, and longed for play time or the chance to sneak away and cause mischief. Right now she was carrying chalk with her as she ran with the others towards Rhune. Yeah she was getting tired, and when the fun and racing stopped she did sit down. However Prasi forced herself to stay awake by drawing with her piece of chalk while another caretaker looked after the hatchlings nodding off. Prasi was in the middle of the group, not knowing where her brothers went or the new sister she had.

Eysseth smiled at the sleeping hatchlings almost piled on top of each other as she finished her story. Trying to be as quiet as a behemoth could be the dragoness slowly made her way out of the chamber but not before one little one begins crying. Eysseth lets out a sigh before lumbering to the main chamber Rhune was in. "Rhune dear we have a cranky hatchling who could use some love. Would you mi...your highness!" Stopping mid-sentence the Earthwing bows as she sees her liege waiting in the main chamber.
"Please excuse me your highness. I hope you have not been waiting long. The hatchlings are being a pawful as always. How may this old lady help you?" Eysseth gives a big smile as she raises and lumbers a few more steps closer to Baldirak. "I hope everything is alright. Another hatchling didn't break into someone's horde again did they?"

Baldirak smiled at Rhune. "Thank you, Rhune." He sat and waited for the Head Caretaker to finish. The King looked around the room, watching the Hatchlings who weren't being put down for a nap run around, playing. He smiled a little. if only they could do this on the surface. Baldirak didn't have to wait long before the Head Caretaker appeared. "Greetings, Eysseth, isn't it? No need to apologize, I didn't mind waiting at all. Everything is fine, I just had a question for you. We have an unnamed Hatchling, it seems. I believe it came from one of the eggs whose parents perished in the Invasion. Could you tell me where that Hatchling is?"

Re: Caretaking (Eysseth mainly, but open)
Rhune looked at Prasi, seeing her among the hatchlings he had tired down with the race. He couldn't help but smile seeing her clinging onto her chalk to remain awoken, visibly trying to do more than her body could handle. The green male stepped forward and nuzzled the hatchling, chuckling.
"Hey Prasi. You should sleep. If you want, when you'll be awoken... we can draw together." he told her with a smile.
He nuzzled her once more before his attention was diverted by the large Caretaker making an appearance, soon followed by the cry of an hatchling. He nodded when she instructed him to calm down the crying hatchling, and gave Prasi a last nuzzle.
"Sleep, Prasi. I'll see you when you'll wake up." he gently told her, before stepping away.
The green dragon made a nod toward Baldirak and Eysseth before entering the room filled with sleeping hatchlings. Rhune quietly made his way to the one that was crying, and began to nuzzle him.
"Hey, hey little one. It's okay, I'm here. You're not alone." he tried to comfort him, finding a place to lay down.
Rhune lowered his wing so it was covering most of the hatchling, just leaving the head outside. The green dragon nuzzled the hatchling again, waiting for him to stop crying.
