Union of Family (Private Ark's family)

A typical spring day for the seawings, with the sun still shining high above Ark lay in waiting just outside the palace as he waited for Draken's group to arrive. Yet he wasn't alone his recent daughter tagged along playfully tapping her with his tail. "Won't be that long now Asvania" looking towards the horizon of blue he smiled as he sensed them getting closer.

Lalani pulled back a little from Asvania when she talked so loudly. She wasn't exactly expecting it, but after she managed to pick up her dumbfoundedness, she grinned at her. Straight away, she mirrored the little SeaWing, as she flicked her tail back and forth behind her, her oversized wings draped across her back awkwardly. They were so long that the tips of them dragged across the ground, already being bruised and damaged from the contact that they normally made. However, it didn't phase her-she just wanted to play!

And she pounced gently at Asvania, a small giggle coming from her as she did so.

Draken watched calmly in the back as he watched his children get nervous at first and soon he saw them starting to play with Arkhor's hatchling. It was cute to him and he enjoyed it greatly, it was great to see his hatchlings getting along with Arkhor. "There we go, now they're getting along well, its nice to see Lalani have fun. Now Tissa, go over there in join them, don't be that one in the background, come on don't be shy." He said then gently nudged Noctissa a bit closer to where Lalani and Asvania were.

Asvania was estatic when the other seemed to perk up a huge smile appearing on her maw before she feels the other try and punce her. She playfully dodges her before playfully playfighting with her pawing and such. All the while giggleing up a storm.

Lalani squeaked as she missed, her paws gently landing in the ground to the left. She giggled, play fighting the little SeaWing as she seemed to try and get little Lalani. The young NightWing pretended to growl, with a fairly large smile on her face as she finally caught a tail! She brought the tail up to her mouth, then frowns as something had grabbed her tail... Oh. A look of stupidity crossed her face for a few moments before she returned to playing with her new found friend. She hadn't had this much fun in ages!

Ark smiled towards the hatchlings turning towards Draken, "Come on, lets take them to the pools, its good place to relax and mess around" chuckling he started to walk away towards the pool area, "Come on guys, you want to see something cool right?" waiting to be followed smiling towards the group.

Noctissa snorted annoyed at her fathers nudging. She didn't want to play right now couldn't he see that? Noctopie was more interested in learning about Asvania and Arkhor. Though making sure her sister was happy was also a concern in the back of her mind. Once the other two hatchlings began to play Nocti relaxed a bit and looked at Arkhor inquisitively.

Then she slowly began to sneak closer to him her body rigid and ready to run should he act suspicious or try to hurt her. Her little nose twitched as the little female sniffed at the large seawing.

Draken smiled when Arkhor made the offer of taking them to the pools, the only problem was that his children didn't have gills."Sure.. We can head to the pools.. But the girls don't have gills.. I hope that isn't a problem." he said nervously and laid his head down for Noctissa and Lalani to climb on, so he can take them to the pools.

Asvania eeps out excitedely hearing about going to the pools. She had her own little giggle seeing the other hatchling catch her own tail. She jumped hyperly against Arkhor wanting on him.

Smiling as he continued towards the pool area, he replied to Draken "Don't worry, I can keep an eye on them. Heck if they want I can always let them breath underwater" chuckling at Asvania he helped her up with his paw, smiling towards Noctissa keeping quiet not to scare her. Only a few moments and they arrived at the pools, "Alright guys feel free to relax in the water"

Noctipie tilted her head inquisitively as the older dragons spoke about pools. She didn't know what a "pools" was and was interested in finding out. She actually didn't know how to swim, and once they reached the pools Noctissa warily approached the edge. She wondered why the grown ups had taken them here. Were they going to get wet? Or were they going to give the kids a bath? Noct didn't know. Her gaze went questioningly form Draken to Arkhor then to the water below her snout. She gazed into her own reflection unsure of what to do next.

Tentatively the girl touched her paw to the water then retracted it quickly and shivered. The water was chilly! She didn't like it at all. So she turned around and headed slowly towards Arkhor to investigate him. He smelled interesting to her, and when she poked his leg his scales felt weird. The girl looked up at him wondering if he would be mad at her poking him or not.

At the present time, she wasn't exactly enjoying being transported by sitting around. She wanted to play! But she was just being restricted there. Her body quivered in excitement as she saw the little blue things appearing. That must mean they were close. Eventually, when they got to these so-called pools, little Lalani was growing a bit tired and her excitement died down. But still, when they eventually stopped, the giant winged hatchling jumped off their fathers head and onto the ground.

Lalani, instead of investigating like her sister, she watched from afar from near their dad. She didn't wanna touch the weird little things, and instead, decided to watch there to see if the other little hatchling would explore. However, being the spontaneous hatchling she was, and allowing her own curiosity got the better of her, she bolted to the water thing. Lalani did do something rather clever, she ignored that her sister didn't like it... It looked so pretty and shiny!! Oh how she wanted that little sun shining brightly on the water!

With those thoughts, she fell right into the deep end of the pool.

Asvania watched curiously from ontop Arkhor as the other two hatchlings explore the water. She remembered her first timw trying out swimming... It had went somewhat well suprisingly and when Arkhor took her in she was made to be able to swim allmost as good as a natural seawing. She got a little nervous tho when the other hatchling jumped into the deep water and raced off her fathers head jumping off into the water. After hitting the water she goes over to under Lelani and pushes under her to help her swim.

Upon realizing that the water was a bit too deep for her, Lalani's heart seized slightly. However, before she could worry too much, the little Asvania was already there and pushing her to the surface. She spluttered slightly, shaking her head as she watched the little dragon and how she was able to stay afloat in the water. Chirping in delight, she nuzzled the little dragon. Becoming intrigued, she watched the little dragon swimming. Before too long, she began to mimic her movements, Lalani did the exact same thing. However, she used her giant wings as a blanket over the water so that she would be able to use them and push herself to the surface again. She chirped, looking back at Arkhor and Draken to get their attention.

Chuckling slightly at the sight of the hatchlings swimming, he continuously watched them to make sure there wasn't any problems. Luckily Asvania helped one of the hatchlings to float before he could have taken action, moving into the water himself he made sure that he was close by as he knew the nightwing hatchlings could have issues at first. "There you go.. well done, your a smart little one" chuckling slightly he smiled towards the group splashing a little water towards them, playing with the young ones.

(Dunno what you guys are talking about Noctissa isn't even in the water yet... I know Asvania and Lalani are though)

Noctissa stood there still watching the water as her sister decides to quite literally jump in. The quiet child raised her wings to block the splash of water back at her closing her eyes as she did so. A second smaller splash hit her from Asvania heading quickly into the water. Then Noctopie blinked her ebony lids open before tipping her head upwards to peek over her own wings at her sister and the water.

Noctissa had missed the moment where Lalani had floundered in the water. Now she was seeing Asvania underneath her sibling lifting the little one up to keep her at the surface of the water. Then soon as Noctopie watched, Lalani got the hang of swimming and began paddling around on her own with Asvania nearby.

Seeing Asvania clearly caring for her sister, Noctissa began to think highly of the other child. She lowered her wings back down now that the splashing had ceased and padded back to the edge of the water reaching her nose out towards Asvania in greeting.

Hallo... Noctissa greeted the unfamiliar hatchling with her voice and an outstretched nose. Then she glanced to Lalani and watched her swim. Noct sat down then watching closely. She wondered if swimming was really that easy. The girl was nearly about to try it for herself.

Asvania smiles after the other hatchling gets use to the water after a bit. She playfully swims around lelani before eeping as she is splashed by Arkhor. Before she could try and return the favor the quieter hatchling came over and caught her attention. Giveing a soft nuzzle to the outstretched nose she replies. "Hullo back." She wagged her tail happy to see the other was being more social towards her. "Come in!" She said before returning to her previous task of trying to splash Arky back.

(This would be a good time to give Noctissa the ability to breath underwater I guess?)

Noctopie smiled a little bit as the seawing hatchling greeted her. She then gazed below her at the water after Asvania says "Come in!" Noct touches the water again before pulling back and feeling a chill run up her spine. She liked the warm sand and dry earth, but swimming was looking more and more fun to her as she watched her sister and the other hatchling playing in the water.

So Noctissa went to work finding the shallowest part of the bank where she could gradually get in. Unlike her sister she wasn't going to just dive right into the wet. Instead Noct planned on getting used to the feel of it before even trying to swim. Her movements stopped though when a dragonfly darts over the water capturing the little nightwing hybrids attention. She immediately falls into a crouch rigid as a stone in her hunting position while watching the dragonfly dart about. Then when it came close enough she pounced at it leaping out of the water then back down into the deeper water with the dragonfly in her jaws. Noctissa's heart skips a beat as she realizes that she can't feel the bottom and starts thrashing in the water trying to get to the surface. Her jaws open releasing the dragonfly and some of her air as she thrashes. How in the world did her sis and the other kid do it?
