Sparring Match (Private with Nihlus)

Diacalor stands tall and proud, excited to be doing something. Nothing beats a Spar, especially to prove a point.

The setting is an active volcano, with many floating rocks sitting in the magma. Diacalor was sitting on the outer edge of the rim, and across from him was his opponent.

Nihlus glared intensely at Diacalor, his face illuminated by the bubbling magma that sat between him and his opponent. The heat felt heavenly on his scales and fueled the fire that built up within his chest, ready to be let loose on his command. Unfortunately, his fire would be of little use to him in this battle. If anything, the fire would strengthen his opponent.

He snarled, curling back his lips to showcase rows of pearly white fangs, draped in strands of saliva. If this dragon thought he would hold back, he was in for a big surprise. Nihlus flexed his talons that were now beginning to steam with the heat that coursed through them. He snorted out a cloud of embers into the open air and spread his jaws, letting out an earth-shaking roar.

Diacalor broke off a large chunk of rock from where he stood, then shifted the weights in his back legs to better his stance. He hurled the rock at Nihlus.

There is not much to work with here. Diacalor thought.

He smashed his fists together and sharp blades protruded from his elbows, tail, and back. Then he shook his hands, exposing the metal claws that were sheathed in his knuckles.

"Let's do this!"

Diacalor leaped at his foe, clearing the expanse with ease.
