Great Friends (Open)

"Whoa," Storm said, trying to calm Draco. "Athena turned into a wackadoodle for a while but she wasn't in her right mind but she is okay now." He said. "Now we may need to go hunting. Atrex gave me a little bit ofelk meet back in the temple, don't ask me how, but I am still starved." He frowned.

Athena sighed and nodded. "I'll go get food. Ket off some steam." And low and behold, a rabbit dashed out from the hedges. "Well thats convenient," Athena muttered, standing up and stretching her wings. She leaped, stretching her wings to carry her further. The rabbit seen her shadow falling over it and squealed,speeding up, but Athena outsretched her back claws like a gigantic blue eagle, and crushed it beneath her weight as she landed. She turned back around, realising she had gone a good ten feet from the others.

She darted back and glanced at the poor thing, before shrugging and dropping it at Storm's claws. She then sat down."not much, but it'll keep you going till we find elk."

Storm smiled at her gratefully. "Thanks." He started taking bites out of the rabbit, restraining himself from eating it whole. Once he had finished, he laid down the bones. "Thanks again, Athy," he said. "I feel a lot better now." He stood up.

After being told to shut up by Athena, which i never want to get on her bad side, i shut my mouth. After Storm finished his meal, i decided to talk again. "Well, i'm glad that was over with before something bad happened. But to ask, what is that amulet you got there. Looks incredibly old, how did you get this?" I asked him about the amulet while looking the same thing i asked him about.

Storm smiled. "Oh, the queen in the old temple over that way gave it to me," he explained. "But I wouldn't go in there. I will explain it to you some other time, but not now. Gosh. I am tired. Are you?" he asked to the group. He knew that Athena probably wasn't from her "power nap" that Storm gave her.

"Incredibly since i have stayed awake all day and all night trying to escape some sort of feeling that a old friend that is now a enemy is back. But it's just a dream, am i right?" I asked Storm, starting to fall asleep. "I got a bad feeling about those dreams, they could not just be dreams." I thought to myself, struggling to stay awake until it fell asleep.

Storm cocked his head in curiosity. "Huh. I wonder. Maybe not." He didn't know what else to say, so he was relieved when Draco fell asleep. He turned to Athena. "So, are you going to go to sleep too? I am exhausted." He turned around and sat down, leaning on a tree.

"Don't mention it," Athena said softly. She watched the conversation between Storm and RedFace, as she had nicknamed him, before she replied to Storm's.. Admittedly tempting question. She'd enjoy more sleep, but she was rested enough. She had to think thingd over.

"Nah, it's fine. I'll keep watch," she said, standing up and walking over to the treeline, where they were closest, so anybody coming from here or the other sides would have a hard time sneaking with her on watch. She sat down, tail curled around her and claws unsheathed, fangs bared very slightly.

// That is okay. //

Storm was going to argue for her to get some more sleep, but he didn't have the energy. After a few moments, he was already in a deep sleep.

// A few hours later //

Storm opened his eyes calmly. It was now dark out. He must have slept for hours. He sat up and looked around to see what the others were doing and to make sure that Atrex was back.

(meanwhile, in the dream realm)
Darkness, a creature that all things fear, for that it brings death, destruction, and ruin. The darkness however is a natural thing to see inside my dreams, so that it could hide all the evil i committed in my lifetime. "So, are you ready to begin?" A familiar voice asked, and then a figure appeared in the same form he presents himself with. He was a large dragon with rocks stuck to his entire body and all set on fire, eyes glowing with hate for something unnatural, and a halo of flames surrounding him to keep the rocks on fire. "Well, i hope you have been practicing, cause i won't lose this time." I replied to him with a smirk of confidence that i will win. He started laughing at my reply like if it was a hatchling running around in circles. "Oh boy, that was hilarious! For that, i'm going to go easy on you this time, okay?" He said after his laughter with some steam coming from his eyes that was supposed to be his tears. I got in my battle stance and knew with confidence in my heart and determination in my soul, that the Eternal flame was on my side to help me banish the evil that fed upon my past sins. "Hope you are indeed ready to die!" He roared in maniacal laughter when he finished his sentence and charged towards me. Now i will win after all these failures and losses.
(a few hours later)
We stood there, watching each other for weaknesses. I was beaten and bruised from the battle with claw marks all over me trying to destroy him, but his rock armor was impenetrable, as if they are made of steel. He chuckled for that my attempts of even dreaming of breaking his armor were all but false. "Don't you remember the saying that they always say? 'Some things are not what they seem'. This is still rock armor, but since i died inside of this, it became a part of me and combined with my scales. I have to remind you every single night to never forget those words and use that knowledge in battle. For the sake of your mind and body not getting destroyed, stop trying to beat me." He monologue as he stared at me with sad eyes, but i won't just let him take control of me and start up another 'incident'. "I will continue to fight you, even if it means my mind, body, and spirit are severely damaged. You will never start a war with Pyria, my new homeland." I started up, trying to get up and succeeding. He was saddened by this for what it looks like and disappeared into the darkness with two words to say inside the darkness. "You Won."

// Is that Draco or Ender dreaming?? //

// Oh, okay. I was getting confused XD So did Draco wake up? I cannot continue if he is just dreaming... //

//yeah, he did wake up. when the battle is finished, he wakes up.//

// Okay. //

Storm smiled and walked over to Draco as he saw that he was waking up. "Did you sleep well?" he asked, sitting down beside him. "I feel so much better now that I slept."

Athena watched them all night, and when Storm woke up she couldn't help but smile. She kept it hidden though. Then her thoughts drifted to her mate, Nebula. Where was her Starboy? She looked at the skies, and grinned as she remembered seeing Pyrria from above, the earth had been so big.. So beautiful.. The sheer size of it!
Athena didn't realise she'd gone into a daydream. She kept thinking about Nebula and the earth from above. Seeing everything from above.. Perfection. It was truly.. Perfection. And now she had a mate as the icing on the cake,

Storm walked over and sat down next to his friend. "Hi, Athy," he greeted. He smiled up at her. "You look like you are lost in a daydream. What's on your mind?" he asked, once again glad that Athena wasn't crazy.

Athena jumped as Storm appeared out of nowhere. She then settled herself down in s comofrtable position again and smiled. "Lots of clever little things," she chuckled. Then she spoke. "Did you know the earth is round?" She asked, looking at the sky. "And that I saw the earth from above?" She added, smiling softly. "Storm.. Its a sight a dragon would die for to see.. It's big and beautiful and.. And.." She looked at him, grinning softly. "It's perfect."

Storm looked at her, confused by what she was saying. "I have heard that the world could be round. That was my theory, since it would make sense. I would explain it to you but I have to ask you something. How in Pyyria would you know that te earth was round for certain?" he blurted.

He sat there in silence, wondering how she could get so high to see if the earth was round and from so high up. He **** his head at her."Have you seen it from up... There before?" He pointed up to the sky with one obsidian claw.

Athena grinned. "Because he took me into space, Storm," she gestured to the sky. "And my god, it's.. It's amazing." she sighed wistfully. "I'm just wondering where Nebula is now.. I admit, I miss him," she said softly, longing in her icy blue eyes.

Where was that Starboy of hers? Had he flown off and found another female? Shown her the same things he'd shown her? Her heartstrings were tugged at that thought, but she pushed it down. Nebula wasn't that kind of guy! Was he?
