NightWing Elections

Hello!  As there is some lack of activity in the higher ranks, I'm going to hold unbaised elections where only you guys vote for who gets to win these offices.  There shall be three different offices, and all of them can be applied for at the same time, but only one of them can be rewarded to each person.  On your NW character, please put down in the following for each position you want.  If you apply for multiple, please keep all of them in the same post.  These three positions only report to Oculus and possibly another at a later date.  Failure to follow format will result in ignoring application.

Minister of Defense

Deals with the military and allocation of troops along the border, as well as placement of troops inside for policing work.  Works in conjunction with Minister of Internal Affairs.  First response to attacks and has authority of all military ranks except Royal Guards and Assassins.  Expected to deal with supply movements and armors, and relocating army at moments notice.


Minister of Internal Affairs

Deals with courts, city building, and distribution of supplies to civilians.  Creates minor laws and drafts major laws, which require Emperor's consent.  Controls the police in conjunction with Minister of Defense, however Minister of Defense can withdraw the police in times of war.

Minister of External Affairs

Deals with trade to other tribes.  Works to maintain positive relations and deliver messages to the other tribes.   Creates immigration and visiting laws.  Controls messengers and their movements.

Reason: Why people should vote for you: This is something quite new to me, I have done many things in the past, yet this is something new I would definably do. While I can hold up to my own and the sorts, but I can help maintain a military with an iron fist. If this involves training towards others then I will be even more thrilled, teaching others to defend and offend against their foes with ease even in drastic times. I have been through combat for many years now to know different tactics and the such, I can even teach the fellow trainees and hatchlings, should you put them into my trust. Will I break anyone? Possibly, but we NEED a more 'organized force' sort of say, we cannot attack individually, and what if an entire tribe attacks us while we may be weak? I can train them to become stronger then before. As for sending and receiving shipments and armor and the such I can attend the military and the such to travel such great distances. I can train out weakest-strongest dragons to use their powers to further extent that they ay not know, I could make them far powerful soldiers then they once were. If another nation attacks, then I call my troops, or as I call them Brethren, to arms and we will counter the opposing force from penetrating our defenses. If I can be in this position, I, or we (my troops and I) could make great things happen.

Reason: I, Loque, intend on pursuing the work I am already making as a Magistrate under the supervision of the Grand Vizir Tenebris. I work for the greater good of the Nightwing Empire, and believe the greater good of the Empire starts with the greater good of its citizens.
