Hunting Game (SkyWings)

Haneul was patrolling the border, as usual. He spent most of the early morning there, so paranoid he'd attack anything that moved. Ever since those LightWings crossed the border a month ago, the Guardian had been on edge. Han yawned as sunlight reached the tree he was perched in. Soon, a trainee would arrive to relieve him and he could begin his rounds. Everyday, after patrolling the border, Haneul went from island to island, helping his fellow SkyWings with odd jobs. And then he would return to patrolling. But today, something different would take place. Today, there was going to be a hunting game. It was nothing more than a fun way to get the hunting done... Not that Haneul had a concept of fun. But hopefully everyone would enjoy it.

Mei yawned as she woke up, visibly tired. The day before had been pretty tiring... At her side Zyailor was also sleeping like a rock, which made her smile. He was cute when he was sleeping like this.
The eastern dragoness blinked as she suddenly remembered what day it was. The hunting games ! She had almost forgotten about that ! Her mate had promised her to bring her to the games, since she wasn't often hunting as a healer.
"Hey wake up Zya ! We're going to be late for the games !" she tenderly nudged him.

Gusts of wind... dodging trees...chasing... chasing... spotting his prey, with a smirk lunging at the boar which he hunted. pressing his claws into its hide with a squeal from its last moments, yet suddenly hearing a voice in his ear, growing louder noticing it was coming from the boar he leaned closer only to be shouted at gasping he awoke from the pleasant dream, becoming dazzled with the sudden waking. Groaning slightly as the words became clearer, "Yes... yes... gahhh.. let me... get back to you on that..." only to crash back down snoring again.

Mei frowned as Zyailor woke up only to fall asleep again. It wasn't like this they were going to catch up with the event...
The dragoness nudged her mate a bit harder, licking him on the nuzzle as well.
"Zya, wake up ! We're going to be late to the event !" she told him, this time with a more insisting tone.

Groaning again he opened his eyes, realizing what she was saying he replied as best he could "Yeah... alright.. sorry" pushing himself to sit up, he rubbed at his eyes with his paws. Yawning he looked towards Mei, giving off a soft growl still feeling tired. "Its not.. that late is it?" he asked with a slight smile.

Mei nuzzled her mate, glad he finally woke up. Had he not managed to wake up she would have had taken some more... drastic measures.
"Maybe not that late, but still pretty late. Shall we go then ?" she asked, visibly impatient at the idea to go to the hunting games.

Haneul was just leaving a small island where he helped a citizen with a sprained ankle dig a pit. Now he made his way to the palace for the event. On the way, he passed Mei and Zyailor's island. They appeared to still be in the process of waking. He chuckled a bit and let out a roar as he flew overhead.

MoonWing slaved in his workshop over armor and weapons. He crafted armors of steel, gold, silver, and iron. Same with weapons, varying materials. He finished half of his work and took a break. He made some lunch and sat outside his workshop. SLowly eating the food. Being mute had very little problems, when you were a vulcan. The orders were yes or no questions most of the time. And if they were complicated answers, he could just write them out. So he sat there finishing he lunch. When he was done he got back to work.

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, raising his row in surprise from a roar outside. Sighing slightly he nodded at Mei, "I don't think I will be much good today, probably fall asleep when your not looking" he chuckled. Moving towards the entrance he waited if Mei was ready.

Mei slightly puffed at her mate's comment about falling asleep while she was looking away.
"You'd better not. You perfectly know I wouldn't hesitate to wake you up... whatever it takes to do so." she warned him, a worrying smile on her face. By the looks of it, should it happen she had an idea how to deal with it already...

Haneul sat outside the palace, waiting for others to show up. He thought about going to see if any of the Vulcans were going to participate. Standing, he made his way to the Vulcans workshop. He arrived in time to see one heading in. He recognized him as Moonwing (They've been in the same place in another SkW topic before?). Han followed and cleared his throat as he entered. "Hello, Moonwing. Are you going to attend the event today?"

MoonWing began to work again when another dragon entered his shop. Moon turned as the dragon asked the question. Moon looked down and bowed. He looked up and gave the dragon a confused look.

Han was a little taken aback by the bow, but returned it. Noticing the confused look on Moonwing's face, he explained further, "There's going to be a game. Just a friendly contest to see who can catch the most prey. I think it's going to be in teams of two. Since there's only one Tracker, this will be a faster and... fun way to get all the hunting done for the tribe."

MoonWing shook his head and resumed his work. He stopped for a second an looked at the dragon. He took his claw and wrote a little message in the dirt. It said:
"I will try to attend but will not join"
